White chocolate covered Oreos with gold accents.

I love this store! Very friendly staff and large variety of baking supplies. This time I needed oreo molds and gold glitter and they had exactly what I needed.

Chocolate dragon egg. Used Merken's chocolate for the mold and unmelted chips as the scales. Green and gold shimmery dust.

I came here for supplies for a Game of Thrones surprise party. The woman who I spoke with (probably the owner?) was extremely helpful, and I needed a lot of help since I've never melted chocolate with anything but my hands before. :P She gave me general instructions, answered my questions and suggested a website for color blending chocolate. There were lots of supplies in a very small space, and everything I bought seemed very reasonably priced. Granted, I've never been shopping for the stuff before, but I'm pretty cheap, so... Since I was making the chocolate dragon egg for looks, I didn't have high expectations for taste, but it was addictive, especially after being refrigerated. Creamy, slowly melting, with a snap that makes it feel fancy. I used Merken's chocolate for everything, per the lady of the store's excellent suggestion.

Chocolate covered Oreos-bought the mold over there and the lady gave me a short explanation! I'm totally in love now! Thanks again!!

Warranty Experience with Chef's Toys and Mulberry Technology…read moreInitial Purchase and Expectations In 2023, we invested a total of $26,472.61, which included taxes and two warranty insurance plans, for a 3-door KINTORA refrigerator and a 2-door KINTORA freezer. Our initial experience was smooth and hassle-free, largely thanks to our salesperson, Estaban Aguirre. Unfortunately, we later discovered that Estaban was no longer with the company. The Issue Arises On March 6, 2026, the hinge of our 3-door KINTORA refrigerator broke, rendering the refrigerator unusable. Since we had purchased a warranty, we immediately reached out to Estaban for assistance, only to learn from Raul Flores that Estaban was no longer employed with Chef's Toys. Raul provided us with contact information for Mulberry Technology, who was supposed to handle our warranty claims. Challenges with the Warranty Process This marked the beginning of a frustrating ordeal. It quickly became apparent that Chef's Toys was not well-acquainted with Mulberry Technology. Raul initially gave us an incorrect contact number for starting our claim. He directed us to Joshua Wohl at Mulberry, who, while not involved in claims processing, was helpful enough to connect us with the appropriate department--after we had already experienced several unhelpful responses from Raul. After sending our purchase order to Karime, our contact at Mulberry, we learned that Chef's Toys had never registered our protection plan with Mulberry or transferred the necessary funds for our warranty. We attempted to follow up with Raul but received no response until we escalated our concerns to Chef's Toys' corporate office. Unfortunately, reaching out to their main line at 714-662-2433 during business hours of M-F between 9am-5pm only led to a voicemail, and our emails through their website also went unanswered. This is TERRIBLE! Resolution and Lingering Frustrations Eventually, Raul from Chef's Toys responded and offered a courtesy repair for our refrigerator door but informed us that our remaining warranty coverage would not be honored. This was frustrating, as we had already paid for the warranty. During this period, on March 25, the Health Department visited and deducted points from our inspection due to the non-functional equipment. We promptly notified Raul about the urgency, as another inspection was scheduled for April 6. Fortunately, the Health Department accepted our communication with Raul and a photo of the completed repair as proof. The entire process--from the breakdown on March 6 to the repair on April 6--took a full month. This delay was disappointing, especially given that waiting for a part should not have justified such a lengthy timeline; someone could have delivered the part to expedite the repair.

2.21.26 Hubby looking for a knife, I'm looking for a sharpening tool…read more It's a smaller scale store but I can easily spend at least an hour roaming the aisles. I love to cook & I see all the possibilities of the items to make life easier or more efficient here. My santoku is starting to become dull & needs sharpening. I couldn't my favorite chef 's knife (the whole knife block cannot be found!) Hubby found a chefs knife & he got me the sharpener. I told him I wanted to get the stone/honing block but he opted for the metal kind. The staff are super helpful & answered our questions. There so many "toys" I wanted to buy but I must resist the urge to amass more "clutter" (that's what Hubby calls it, but he reaps the benefit when he eats what I cook). I still need a dumpling rolling pin, but they only have standard types at this location. Aisles are fairly spacious & inventory appears well stocked, neatly arranged & sorted. Prices are fair & marked accordingly. It has its own designated free parking lot. Good shopping trip, met our goals.

I explained to Andres that…read moreI needed to replace my high-end 48" side-by-side Thermador refrigerator that I had purchased new in 2004. Unfortunately, after spending thousands of dollars on repairs over the past five years, it continued to break down and was no longer reliable. Andres listened patiently to my concerns and then asked what type of refrigerator I was looking for. I told him I wanted something similar to the Thermador but with much greater longevity. He recommended Sub-Zero, explaining that while it cost a little more than Thermador, Sub-Zero refrigerators have a long-standing reputation for lasting over 20 years. I mentioned that I had read all Sub-Zero 48" models are 84" high, which is 1/2" taller than my existing Thermador, and I was concerned they would not fit in my cabinet space. Andres confidently told me they would fit, but to make absolutely certain, he offered to send Pacific Sales' certified Sub-Zero installers to my home to take measurements free of charge and with no obligation to purchase. The installers arrived the very next day, took measurements, and confirmed that all the Sub-Zero 48" models would fit perfectly. I then met Andres at the store, where he showed me the different 48" Sub-Zero models and honestly explained the pros and cons of each style based on customer feedback. I ultimately decided on the Classic French Door model. Since I had already been without a refrigerator for weeks, I told Andres I wanted it as soon as possible. He assured me it would not be a problem, and amazingly, he arranged delivery and installation just three days later. The installers arrived on time, completed the installation in less than an hour, and thoroughly tested everything before leaving. The entire process--from measurements to installation--took only three days and was completely painless and stress-free. I could not be happier with my new Sub-Zero refrigerator, and I truly appreciate all of Andres Vega's help. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, intelligent, and genuinely knows his stuff. I highly recommend Andres Vega at Pacific Sales in Torrance to anyone looking for a high-end refrigerator or premium appliance shopping experience.
