This little restautant is in a very old hotel on the corner of a busy intersection of town. The town itself is small and not very busy, so finding parking is no problem. The staff is very friendly, they all wear masks, and they have a server and a bus person. The bus person cleans the tables and the chairs. You can dine inside or out, service is fast either way. We had the blackened grouper, fried oysters, and cajun popcorn. All was excellent and not greasy. Very good portions for lunch. If you happen to drive thru Eufala, be sure to stop here for a bite to eat. read more

Stopped by for lunch and I have to say I'm disappointed. The fried pickles were forgettable. The menu was really lacking. They literally have one salad option that you pick your protein, over priced soup, and a bunch of the exact same basic sandwiches with different proteins swapped out. The "Po Boy" type sandwiches literally come with lettuce and mayo, that's it. I asked for onion and picked and was up charged .50 cents each and I got three pickles on an 8 inch sandwich. No seasoning, no sauce just bread, mayo, protein, lettuce for 10$. The "Cajun" fries where soggy, mealy and had a sad pinch of Cajun seasoning just pinched on the top center. Service was decent but had to keep asking for things like ketchup and ranch (they gave an abismal portion with the fries pickles). Had to flag down another server just to pay the tab. Walked out spending over 30$ alone just for two sad sandwiches, soggy fries and below par fried pickles. I love trying local places, and always want to pick somewhere new over a chain restaurant but I found myself wishing we would have just waited and went to Texas Road House instead. read more

Always a fan of Cajun food and this place does it well. I'm a big fan of their jambalaya.

Eufala has a nice downtown, and this restaurant is right in the center of it. The food is good -- we had the Cajun Sampler (fried pickles, eggplant, and crawfish) and the Jazzy Soup Combo (etouffe, red beans, gumbo). Not brilliant, but quite good. The service was great. Prices were reasonable. They had nice seating outside. read more

This place is always busy so thought we'd try it. First, bring a jacket - its very cold inside. Greeted right away and got our drink order and food order in pretty quickly. All good until food was delivered and then we didn't see the waitress again. Many servers around, no one watching for overall customer service with drinks etc. The food we had was good and the bread that comes with the meal was really good too. Would return for another try, but the owner should have some expectations raised for customer service. When I saw crawfish, I was like "yes please!" We had started with the Crawfish Popcorn - it caught us the surprise how big the portion was (for two) that we ended up taking some home. We also ordered the Raging Cajun Burger (double) that puppy was delicious! As well as the Grouper Maque Choux - this puppy caught us by surprise too! Cute place with plenty of food options. I ordered the Northern Shore pasta and while it tasted yummy, it was in an unnecessary amount of sauce which was mainly heavy cream and not much flavor. It was sprinkled with a layer of cheese. It came out of the kitchen so quickly that I questioned how fresh it was. Pasta came with a side of cajun bread which tasted pretty good but was swimming in a shocking amount of melted butter. On a recent trip to Eufaula, no where came more highly recommended by friends than this place! So my wife and I tried it on a somewhat quiet Thursday night and were very pleased. We got the Cajun cheese sticks for an appetizer and they rocked. They were lovely and crummy but tasty too. Some of the best! My wife got the Cajun sampler and it was a fried new creole delight! Pickles, crawdads and eggplants!!! Mmmmm! I got the steak and mushroom pasta and was equally impressed. The steak was perfectly cooked and dropping with flavor! The side salads are enormous and delicious as well! If you only have one choice of dinner in Eufaula I would recommend this place!! read more

We dined here on 4/1/2023 at 5 pm. It was nice to eat at a little table outside on the sidewalk. My husband said his salmon was delicious. My hamburger was way overcooked. The twice-baked potatoes are actually more like sliced pieces and au gratin potatoes with lots of cheese. The flavor was good, but could have used a bit more seasoning. Unfortunately, both the hostess and our server seemed very stressed, and our waitress forgot an item that we ordered. A server from a different table (who seemed a little bit out of it) brought things to our table twice that we had not ordered... They belonged to the other table. We were in town for the pumpkin patch. It took about 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. It was a little slammed but not bad enough for that. The pasta was disgusting. Took forever for waitress to come back so I went inside looking for her. Gave her the gumbo and said if I wanted a bowl of rice I would have gone to a Chinese place. The po' boy was tasty but felt a bit like nothing more than a hoagie...did I miss something? The fried green tomatoes were very tasty but heavily fried and breaded...must be true Southern food! Good but heavy going down. The big hit though was the bread pudding...recommended by our very friendly waitress, that was the true show stopper and was delicious. The owner needs to update his website information. Menu prices and days of operation are incorrect.

We wanted to eat "local" while enjoying the Pilgrimage. This restaurant was a pure delight. My husband ordered the onion rings for the appetizer. Excellent! Then he had the fried grouper, French fries, and a salad. He loved it. I enjoyed my grouper grilled with sweet potato fries. The best sit down restaurant in Eufaula by far. Since they've open the new location the bar is all so much better. The old place used to only serve fruity kind of overly sweet drinks, but they've stepped up their game. I've never had a bad meal here, but sometimes the service is slow. You're in a small southern town though so I don't know that you can expect big city style promptness. read more
