When I was a lot younger, I was obsessed with the KFC that use to reside in this location. I was a…read morevery sad young boy when it closed down - I think it was due to a kitchen fire? Afterwards it was replaced by a Crown Fried Chicken but I don't think it lasted very long. Its current tenant is Sookie's and they've been standing strong for the last 8 years. Just off of N Main St, Leominster, this place is very easy to get to as long as you aren't confused by that bizarre intersection. Directly in front of Sookie's is a few parking spots, but if drive over to the trees there are several more spots tucked in the corner. There's nothing really to write about the interior. There's about 4-5 tables inside and there is an attempt to have some decorations hung up. I think the bathroom-tile-like floor doesn't do the place any favors. There IS a self-serve fountain drink machine if you happen to dine in. I spoke to the cashier while I was waiting for my food and she was a delight. She takes great pride in the quality of the food and the owner's hard work and dedication to their customers. I really wanted to try out everything on the menu, but alas I only have one stomach. Fried Chicken (dark meat) ; I ordered the three-piece and it came with 2 cornbreads and 2 sides. The chicken was very good, juicy and crispy. I would place the seasoning level somewhere below KFC's heavy seasoning and above Cluck & Crispy's light seasoning. Normally I discard included biscuits when I eat at KFC and Popeyes, but I found the cornbreads to be delicious. I enjoyed eating both of them. Coleslaw ; my first side. This is an interesting coleslaw. It leans quite heavily into tangy, similar to Market Basket. And I dig it. Potato Salad ; I chose this one by the cashier's recommendation. This one also leaned quite tangy which made it a little exhausting to eat when paired with the coleslaw. It's good, but I couldn't really appreciate it. Traditional Wings ; 10 pieces, Honey & Korean Chile, Sweet BBQ. I don't have much say about them. They sauces are great although I wish they were applied more heavily. I found myself really trying to scrape against the takeout container to coat the wings more. The wings were cooked just right, but I think they're too small for my preference. I think I just prefer my wings to have sort of batter or cornstarch coating on them. Pork BBQ Fries ; holy moly these are delicious. 'nuff said.

I ordered the Swordfish Special, which was served with shrimp, risotto, and a light sauce that was a beautiful blend of Provençal and scampi influences. The swordfish was cooked perfectly, and the combination of the fish, shrimp, risotto, and delicate sauce was outstanding. It was flavorful and satisfying while still being a wonderfully light dish. One of our friends had never tried swordfish before and ordered the same dish. Needless to say, they are now officially "hooked!" The Korean Short Rib entrée was also excellent, with just the right amount of spice and tremendous flavor. My wife ordered the Fried Whole Belly Clams, which she absolutely loved. And the experience didn't stop with the food. The bar staff were top-notch--knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. Great service can make a good meal memorable, and the team at Luccas certainly did that last night. I have been to Luccas several times and have always had great experiences. Last night, however, was one of those evenings where everything came together--the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the company. Congratulations to the entire Luccas team. It was a fantastic dinner and a truly memorable evening. I highly recommend Luccas American Kitchen and look forward to coming back again soon!

I yelped area restaurants and this was the first one I came to that was open on Sundays and sounded promising. When we arrived the parking lot was pretty full so that was a good sign. Inside the restaurant was definitely smaller than it looked from the outside and the sign at the hostess station said 'seat yourself'. We found a table for 6 and waited a little while before someone noticed us. My husband and I both ordered the Rueben sandwich, he got fries and I got homemade chips with mine. The others ordered fish and chips and some kind of steak wrap. The young teen ordered pizza and fries (no surprise there). We got a chili, mozzarella sticks and nachos for appetizers. We enjoyed everything except the teen said the pizza wasn't really good, one of the adults tried it and said it wasn't good and tasted like a Celeste frozen pizza. We would definitely stop again if we were in the area.

Their warm hospitality and attention to detail really made our visit special. Great food and great service - what more could you ask for?

Ufff the grilled cheese was so good and everyone finished their order! When we first got there. There was only family ordering in front of us and someone updating their online order but after we placed our order there was a slam of online orders so ours took a bit longer but nothing crazy. Staff (mainly teens) were attentive and got our orders right plus the food was great temperature! We prefer to eat in simply due to the fact that we don't like cold food and we still find ourselves with cold food. So thankful that was not our case. It's def a great treat for lunch!

Long wait times for extremely expensive burgers with very little in ways of a waiting area. Tables are so close to the pickup area that if there's a backup in orders at all, which is frequent, there is nowhere to stand without practically being on top of someone. The ingredients are fresh and are prepared every morning at least, but staff are supposed to regularly check temperatures on all product throughout the day; instead, the temperature for a bin of ice is repeatedly taken for cold items, and the probe set on the grill for hot ones.
