A security guy standing in the door waved to us and ushered us in quickly and gave us our own register ahead of everyone else, since we weren't part of the regular high school crowd. We ordered and got our food in less than five minutes even while they were probably close to 100 teenagers swarming the place. I met Stella who was guarding the restrooms, who says she has worked there for 45 years. The place opened in 1963. The lunch rush is total chaos, but she took absolutely no crap from any of those kids, and they were very respectful, especially to her.
