Visited this In N Out on my way back home and it's always super busy! We opted to go inside to avoid the long drive-thru line. Inside wasn't much better, but at least we were place our order quickly and take a stretch from the long drive. Our order took a minute and you could tell the staff was a little overwhelmed but still we're able to be attentive. The food tasted great, as usual, and a place I'll definitely visit again when on the road passing through! read more

I always like to try to stop at an In-N-Out when on the west coast, as many others do too! It's slightly overhyped but still pretty decent for a greasy burger and thin fries. This place was popping when we got there, but still didn't have to wait terribly long for our order. It was exactly what you expect from In-N-Out quality wise, and hit the spot. The restaurant itself was pretty clean and nice, with outdoor seating available when it's not absolutely scorching temperatures. I'll always been an In-N-Out fan. read more

And of course fries. I am a fry connoisseur, so can't forget those. There was a bit of a line at the drive through but things moved fast. Ordering was seamless and in no time the food was ready. Fast and efficient. I also noted the price $6 was very affordable, especially when a large fry at the Golden Arches is 4 American dollars. The burger was pleasant. The style of bun held everything together nicely, as in there was no flopping around of the inside condiments when picking it up, it was sturdy and it made for a nice clean bite. Every bite. Now the fries. I'm a passenger seat princess. IYKYK. If you don't I'm going to tell you. Sitting in the passenger seat when going through a drive through (in most cases) makes you the bag holder. You get to see into the bag and if you're like me collect the spillage of fries. Spillage here was a 4/10. Not a plethora of fries in the bag but they were there. Appearance wise, the fries are slender, no texture, but golden. As for the taste, when I tell you it was as if the potatoes used are first marinated in cardboard juice, I was stunned. I am in such disbelief that someone first made the fries and said "10/10 no notes, add it to the menu!" My tastebuds have never been so disrespected by a fry, ever. The fries are garbage. Perhaps whomever made the decision to put them on the menu in this condition, did not brush their tongue. It is never too late to start. read more

Cross contamination with your food, I felt sick after eating my 4x4 burger (animal style), I had stomach issues and a very uncomfortable time using the bathroom. I have eaten the same orders before in San Diego and have never had uncomfortable visits to the bathroom while my time spent there. Hire hard honest workers please, and not people who have to cross the border to get a better paycheck, there is already a high unemployment here in Imperial Valley. Please hire domestic workers or those with working permits at least to work here thanks. I could do donuts in the parking lot so I would keep the design (of the parking lot) and their needs to be food booths but with see through windows still. As far as ambience goes it is very similar to all other In-N-Out. Food tasted amazing as always. Right next to a gas station if you need to quickly fill up and have a great bite. This In N Out location is the one that serves El Centro, the town across the border from Mexicali. It stopped by this particular location various times while driving back to LA from San Luis. Every time I've come here, it was a weekend evening, and the place was busy. However, it was not as busy as the locations back home, so that was a plus. I ate inside every time I came here, and the experience is the same great experience I've had at all other In N Out locations. I ordered my usual, and had my food in a short amount of time. I enjoyed my meal, refilled my drink, and was out the door. This place provided a much needed pit stop, as well as quality food. The other patrons here were alright, no bad characters around. The place was run efficiently, and staffed with friendly workers. Five stars, and thanks for making my long drive less arduous. read more

The buns were dry and stale tasting, the burger was so thin, had no flavor, and fries were weird tasting, cold, and felt like paper! My husband took the Animal Fries back and asked for a fresh one and it was just like the first one but with hardly any toppings on it. Since I now live in a place that does not have any In-N-Out occasionally when I'm out West I get my fix at one. This particular location is convenient if you are making the drive between Phoenix and San Diego as we were doing. My favorite thing to order is a combo #2 which is a cheeseburger with fries and a drink. I get my cheeseburger "animal style" which means to put chopped, sauteed onions on it with the thousand island dressing and cheese. This is the best way to get it, trust me! You can also do the fries animal style which they put those three toppings on top of it, which is absolutely delicious. I also like their pink lemonade as my drink and if I am feeling indulgent they have a great strawberry shake. As the first time I've went to an in and out, was in LA, and my experience was good there, but I didn't know about all the healthier options this place had to offer. I ordered a protein style burger animal style cooked. Which is a burger wrapped in lettuce that was fried using sautéed onions and mustard on the meat patty. The fries were unsalted per my request, and everything came so conveniently packaged to make it easy to eat especially on the go. Can't go wrong with in n out! After a long drive back towards Phoenix from San Diego the In N Out sign is a welcome beacon. My kids couldn't wait to get out and stretch their legs and eat some burgers. As always at any in n out it was very busy, but still a good amount of parking. We went inside and our order was taken very quickly. After we found a table we had our food in about five minutes. Our burgers were perfect and our fries awesome. I love the lemonade so I also took some to go when we were done eating for the rest of the drive home. The restaurant was very clean as well as the bathrooms. Great service as well. read more

My double double was so fresh I could smell it through my Covid mask. Of course all the ingredients was fresh.! Lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes were so juicy.! It's In-N-Out, what else can you say? No matter which one we visit or what is ordered, it always tastes the same... Amazing! I grew up eating these burgers and all these years later I still crave it all the time and it still tastes as it did when I was a kid. The service at this particular restaurant was great. Everyone was so courteous and I t was very clean inside. Food came out quickly and was super fresh.
