The Bull Moose is a cute little bar in the Field Club neighborhood, with tasty drinks, great staff, and a fun ambiance. Aside from the large sign out front, there's no other signage on the building, so look for the little green building with the amazing patio outside, and you're in the right place. A few friends and I stopped into The Bull Moose after a Yelp event (woo Yelp!), and it was a hot summer day, so a few chilled beverages sounded up our alley. The bartender was great, and helped us find what beers/drinks we were looking for (or the closest they had). The Bull Moose decor and vibe is pretty open and airy, with brick features and exposed ceilings, large windows at the front letting natural light in, and of course a few giant moose heads and Teddy Roosevelt images to pay homage to the bar's name. There is a little "Lucky Duck" shot game at the bar, where you pay $5 , get a gumball, and the color matches to what shot you will get. It may be delicious and it may be not your favorite, but that is the point of the game LOL If you're looking for a laid back bar with a welcoming vibe and great cocktail and beer options, definitely check out The Bull Moose!

The cocktail menu here is always great! They have rotating Site-1 beers on tap and tons of great can and bottle options. The indoor decor is on point with the giant ode to Teddy Roosevelt. The winning point here is the outdoor patio. It's small but mighty!!!!! Big fan! Come get your next drink here.

A Teddy Roosevelt themed bar! Staff was attentive but not overly so. Pictures on the walls are fascinating. There's one of President Roosevelt at Field Club in right near from an Omaha visit. It's fascinating. They have inclusive events, it's differently abled accessible, and they fly an ally flag. We live close and we'll be back.

the vibe of this place is so fun! came for sunday funday drinks and had a blast. love the class, old timey feel. there's and indoor and outdoor seating as well. they have a list of signature cocktails, but can make you pretty much anything. if you want something fun, try their mystery shots! you pull a gumball and whichever color you get, is the shot you take.

The Bull Moose is another great addition to Center St between the Field Club and Hanscom Park neighborhoods. The interior is cozy and tastfully decorated with brick walls, large west facing windows in which you can catch the sunset, a large picture of Teddy Roosevelt and both Roosevelt Elk and Moose heads mounted on the wall behind the bar. It also features a great outdoor patio on the western side of the building which will be a hot spot when the weather warms up. They had around six beers on tap with the usual assortment of domestic beers and three locals from Site 1 as well as a selection of bottles and cans. They also offer a variety of specialty cocktails and wine.

We ordered several appetizers and had drinks. The servers were friendly and the food was delicious. The Crudo was fresh and bright with a bite of spice. Burrata was soft and creamy with tamarind, orange and mint. Highly recommend the Steak Tartare the meat was velvety and the timmur chips had a great crunch for a contrast in texture. We started with the pork momo. We've had these before and they're always a great choice. The filling was rich and flavorful, the dumpling dough was perfectly chewy and the dipping sauces added another level of depth and flavor. For mains we split the duck breast and the tagliatelle. The duck was cooked perfectly and the bok choy that came with it added a perfect amount of crunch and mustard flavor. The tagliatelle was rich and the variety of mushrooms in the sauce added so much umami. We look forward to returning!

This place taught me a thing or two about vegetables, which delighted all of our senses, and I highly recommend trying a variety of their small plates. This is worth a few minute detour. If you live here, well then, lucky you! Our servers carefully detailed the menu and let us taste a new wine prior to ordering. The dinner service manager is knowledgeable and passionate about the dining experience. When we ordered the radicchio salad, I was skeptical that it would be bitter, but was curious to try it. My husband and I could have fought over it--it was that good! The cauliflower was roasted perfectly, and sat upon a sweet and spice infused puree called mahummara with crunchy pine nuts. The complexity of spices compelled us to try another bite, and then another... Roasted carrots are tender and sweet. Paired with cool yogurt and chili crunch, they ascend into another level of deliciousness. A tear of fresh bread across bits of remaining sauce, and then (not a minute sooner) "we are satiated, thank you!" and the server can take the plate. The restaurant is adjacent to a theater that shows unique offerings and they will sometimes coordinate events with menus. We liked the simple cafe style tables and openness. Ample parking is available in back.

First off, the interior is pretty cute, so I will give them that. But the feng shui of the inside was not super conducive to holding a large crowd of people. Random smattering of chairs in different heights and sizes, so it can be too small for a large group and too big for a couple. There were two big shows downtown, along with the CWS people in town, so it was crazy down there. We had a reservation, but when we arrived, they sort of looked around to see if there was a seat for us (what was the purpose of the reservation?). They first were going to seat us at a low set of arm chairs with a coffee table between them. Somewhere you'd like to sit and have a drink, not a full meal over a coffee table. So then they sat us at a gigantic eight-person high top table when there were only two of us - pretty awkward. We weren't really acknowledged for the first ten minutes or so, but as I said, they were very busy. Our server was great, though, once he got to us. We decided on a few things to eat as we ordered our drinks, knowing we were on a time crunch before the show. We started with the "Devils in Disguise" deviled eggs, and those came out pretty fast and were tasty, with a nice egg base and a candied type bacon on top. They were not too big of eggs, too, so not the type you have to unhinge your jaw to eat, which I appreciated. After the deviled eggs, everything slowed down immensely. Food was coming out around us, but not ours. Large groups who came after we had been there a while, and had ordered way more than us obviously, were getting their food before us. Entree-wise, my husband wanted to try the Prime Rib, as it was the special of the evening. But our server let him know that it was cooked a little over, but in his opinion was still good, so my husband took a chance. Well, let me tell you, it was NOT good. Very dry and almost inedible. The jus that came with it did help a tad bit, but not really actually. The potatoes that came on the side of it also were literally inedible. Burnt and oily and hard, we couldn't even chew them. I had two of the Bao Buns, the Bao Chika Wowza and the Shrimply Irresistible. They were each pretty good, but a little on the spendy side for how small they were. We let our server know about my husband's prime rib being gross, and they did offer to make him anything else he wanted, but we did not have time to wait any more (since the first things we ordered took forever to come out), so he declined, and they just took it off the bill. The decor is cute and our server was nice and doing everything he could to help the situation, but overall, we left still hungry to our concert and got takeout elsewhere when we got home.
