    Mediterranean Wrap Chicken..old PITA BREAD!
    Juan E.

We used to love this place but they got lazy and cheap! we ordered DoorDash from here and I ordered the chicken plate and she ordered the pita wrap. Right away when the food arrive we knew there was a problem. The Peter wrap came apart as soon as we folded the foil that wrapped. Not only that the pita bread itself was old and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. The chicken plate was a joke. They actually piled a bunch of shredded chicken that was super dry on top of extra lettuce to make it look like I got a bunch of chicken. But that wasn't the case and unfortunately, I got cheated out of some chicken. to make matters worse when you complain the DoorDash instead of refunding you the full meal, they only give you 10 bucks back after you spent over $45 for a dinner. This is a shame restaurants are doing this more often when they are skipping back on the food and the material when it's through DoorDash and then DoorDash does not hold them accountable.

Chicken shawarma plate. Extra garlic sauce on the side.

Garlic sauce, garlic sauce and garlic sauce. Love their pickled radishes on the chicken shawarma plates. Place is clean. Counter service and friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking because it's across parking lot from Target. Coke products!

Visited this location of The Broilers on Labor Day, in the afternoon, and I was so pleased! There were two workers in the back with the food, and one up front, Tiffany, who really showed that she took pride in her job. She was cordial, welcoming, walked out food to customers, continually swept and cleaned in between customers, and thanked me for coming. What else can you ask for? The food was all fresh and lovely! Tabouli was moist, flavorful and also had appropriate textures. Pilaf was piping hot and fresh, hummus was awesome, and I have to say that the pita has drastically improved since past visits. Before, it would come out rolled in a foil, then if you did not eat it right away, it would harden. Today, my pita was brought to me warm and flat. It tasted better as well! The pickled radishes, tomatoes, fresh romaine, peppers, and garlic sauce all make a tantalizing explosion of flavor happiness in your mouth! Lots of left overs to take home, as that portions were ample. Well done Broilers!

Beef and chicken combo and beef salad (half order)

Craving a salad for dinner. Husband introduced me to broilers years ago since he used to work for them many moons ago and we've been going together on and off over years. Loved that he knows the ins and outs of the menu so he would always order for me. Surprised to say this is my first time at this location. They now have a self ordering kiosk which was what we used when we ordered. My husband got a chicken and beef plate. I ordered half a beef salad. Our order came out fairly quick. Large portioned and everything was so delicious and very filling. Plenty of sauces was given. The beef was so tender and flavorful. Everything always comes out so delicious when we get broilers. Prices has increased over the years but the food quality has stayed the same IMO. Cravings were satisfied!!! The workers were very nice and the place was clean. Definitely coming back to this location.

The food is always good i've never had a hard time with the pita bread, but this is literally like a rubber mat. It's inedible and I couldn't even finish my meal because of it . Service was good though.

Very disappointed on serving. I guess they counted the table spoon serving as part of large bowl.

If i could give a minus 1 i would. Ordered the lentils soup because they let us sample and it was delicious. So my husband ordered a large lentils soup to go. He said large because it was good. And we get home and this is what we got.

Food is great. Pickles are the best. You could break a tooth on the pita. Something needs to change.

Everyone seemed to be Arab, which is what you want in a Middle Eastern place. I'm Lebanese who had a mother who was a great cook. I know what I'm talking about . The menu has several dishes that are real home cooking. I had several appetizers, which is the way to do it. Hummus, teboule, grape leaves, falafel, all good. I thought the kibbie was too much bulgur on the outside shell. My mother made them meatier. The ones here had a crunch. Too much burger. Service was very nice. They were a little short staffed at lunch, but that was ok. This is not your usual Lebanese place. The menu has depth. I'm from out of town, but Golden Grill is the real deal. And so, the rice was so delicious, lamb so succulent that it almost melted in my mouth. The server was so kind and sweet, even with a jam packed midday lunch crowd. Everyone there seemed like they were being treated like family and like they eat there all the time. Aside from the above, which would easily be enough for a positive review here, there's even more. As I rushed out of the restaurant, I left my credit card. In my haste to be the 3-hour traffic back up to the Bay Area, I completely forgot until I got halfway back home, stopped for gas, and realized I couldn't pay for my gas with my card. I called them and luckily the same gal who was my server picked up and remembered me, confirmed she had my CC and told me to come back and get it. I told her I was back up in Oakland and asked a HUUUUUUGE Favor of them, to mail my CC back to me to save me the 6 hour round trip drive and ALL the headache I'd incur of getting a new card and having to redo all of the auto-pay set for countless bills with a new card number. Guess what? They did it! They took time from their busy lives, put a customer's needs first and saw past my human error and so generously sent my card to my home. Places like this family owned, down home place restore my faith in humanity and make me wish more places like this existed all over. Good Mediterranean food usually hits the spot, but Tofas fell short. The issues started right at the register. The total price I was charged did not seem to align with the prices listed on the menu board. After double-checking, prices were different than I had been charged. After we sat down, the kitchen took a bit to prepare the order. When the food finally arrived, the quality was disappointing. I ordered the tri-tip sandwich. While the bread was decent, it only contained a few slices of tri-tip that were completely dried out. It was definitely not worth the price. Two of my family members ordered steak salads, and they had a similar experience. The meat tasted cheap and flavorless to the point where my family members stopped eating and left their meal unfinished. The restaurant itself was clean, and the service was okay even if the staff was not particularly attentive. However, between the pricing and poor food quality, the overall experience felt disorganized and lacking. Probably one of the worst Mediterranean spots i've tried in Fresno.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
