Chilaquiles! So good a must try.

Great spot in San Luis Obispo. Chilaquiles was phenomenal excellence. Service will definitely be back. Nice outdoor seating for beautiful days in SLO.

The best and biggest cinnamon roll I've ever had! The pictures don't do the baked goods justice. Absolutely recommend the cakes they have on display as well! The Saint Patrick's day Pistachio Lemon Special was amazing as well! They do weekly pastry specials! And the grilled cheese I was given to sample is something y'all gotta try!

Chilaquiles and French toast

The workers were nice and helpful! The food did take a decent amount of time to come out, but it was very good! I really enjoyed my chilaquiles and am looking forward to come back to try the huevos rancheros. I wasn't the biggest fan of the French toast, as I have a crazy sweet tooth but they were more of a healthy adult version. They have both indoor and outdoor seating! Overall I think it's a great place to go and have a nice breakfast!

Food took about 15 minutes after order. Plenty of parking in the front and enough space to seat. We ordered breakfast burrito, burger and coffees it's was amazing. Before you exit the door you can write the note where you are coming from. Love the atmosphere, We will gladly return if we find ourselves in the city again.

Quiche Lorraine & salad, chicken tortilla soup, and a perfect cappuccino.

We had to visit the bank in SLO so I suggested a quick lunch at a little place I discovered when serving on jury duty years ago. What used to be Breaking Bread is now a nonprofit, The Bridge Cafe, and it's AMAZING! My husband had chicken tortilla soup and I had quiche. Both were delicious! Afterward, I asked what the big cookies were in the bakery case, and the man behind the counter gave me one! It's a chewy ginger cookie, yummy and HUGE! I'm ready to sign up for jury duty again as long this place is here.

An absolute gem of a brunch spot! The mole chilaquiles had the three F's: Flavor, Fire, and Freshness! Each bite was a symphony of taste, with the perfect balance of spice and richness. Nice ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating and friendly service. Highly recommend trying them out!! Very reasonable prices too!

The food is good. The place is always clean. The staff is extremely rude!! I will never return to this restaurant solely due to staff.

We enjoyed our breakfasts. The salsa was amazing! They were extremely short handed, but did their best with a positive approach.

I liked the stainless steel cups for self serve water. We ordered the Orange cardamom latte (half sweet) and a Breakfast burrito with bacon (it comes with steak but they swapped it out with bacon for us) the server was friendly and offered us suggestions on our order. The burrito was delicious. Good enough for two people. Very hearty. Didn't love the salsa that came with it but maybe that's just me.

I ordered the lychee cappuccino, which was unique and really well-balanced. The lychee flavor was subtle--I personally wouldn't have minded a bit more intensity--but I really appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. It still let the espresso shine through, which I always prefer. For food, I had the steak breakfast burrito, and it was cooked perfectly. The burrito on its own was maybe a touch under-seasoned for my taste, but once I added their housemade verde sauce, it completely came alive. That sauce is seriously next-level--bright, flavorful, and exactly what the dish needed. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, happy to offer recommendations and clearly proud of what they're serving. You can feel that they're really trying to create a welcoming, thoughtful experience here. Definitely a place I'll return to--and recommend to friends. Great coffee, solid food, and a space that just feels good to be in.

Very Good - But Don't Be A Lazy Customer…read more.... The Nautical Bean on Los Osos Valley Road is my go-to place for sandwiches and drinks in that part of San Luis Obispo. - Overall: 4 - Location: 5 - Exterior: 4 - Ambiance: 5 - Menu: 5 - Sandwiches: 5 - Drinks: 4 - Service: 4 - Price and Value: 5 - Parking: 5 - Bathroom: 4 Pros: - Location: Convenient to the western part of SLO. This outlet of the small chain is on Los Osos Valley Road near the corner of Madonna Road in a shopping center. - Menu: It's not just drinks. They've got a sizable menu of sandwiches...lots of pastries and the usual drinks. - Ambiance: Casual. Many tables inside and 2 patios...one in front and a smaller one in back. You'll find students on computers and friends sharing a table. Music plays in the background. - Food: Excellent. My wife and I stop by once a month before visiting a local doctor and split a sandwich for lunch since they're large enough to easily divide. My favorite is the Tuna Melt ($18). Each comes with a nice salad. For people familiar with restaurants in the San Jose area during the 1970s, 80s and 90s...the sandwiches will remind you of the Good Earth. - Drinks: From excellent to okay. Besides visiting with my wife, I also drop by before or after other doctor appointments. That's what happens as you get older! So I'm a semi regular. I usually get the same thing - A medium hot chai with no whipped cream...extra hot and extra foam. On February 25th, I had one of the very best drinks in my life. A few days later on March 2nd, it went the other way. My hopes were initially raised when a talented young woman (who might be a manager) took my order. Unfortunately, someone else made my drink. The first version had no foam...so she emptied some liquid and added foam. I got to my car, started drinking and realized it was lukewarm - not extra hot - but I was tired, probably lazy and just finished it. It wasn't even busy in the shop. - Service: Always friendly. - Price and Value: Lots of good food and drinks for a fair price. - Parking: No problem. There's a lot in the front and a big one in back. - Bathrooms: Not bad. There are 2 behind the shop - both are usually quite clean and come with a code you get from the employees. Cons: - Consistency of the drinks: This is a problem at almost every place I've tried.....except The Tribe in Arroyo Grande. Most of the drinks here are very good, but people should not be on the front line unless they know what to do. Overall, the Nautical Bean on Los Osos Valley Road makes great sandwiches, has a fine selection of pastries and does a good job with their drinks.
