Had the pleasure of visiting Beachin Biscuits on our way out of town and we were not disappointed! The restaurant is decorated really cute and I love that their coffee bar is called Bougie Coffee, so cute! The owner is friendly and nice as are all of her employees. They have a great selection on their menu so there is something for everyone. I'm not a huge breakfast person so I opted for their granola yogurt bowl and it was so good! It has orange blossom honey which adds the perfect amount of sweetness to it, and you can never go wrong with almond granola (it's my favorite). My husband got their Portuguese burrito, which he really enjoyed. We also ordered a white mocha and caramel latte, both of which had great flavor! Overall we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back on our next trip to Pismo. read more

First of all, we noticed that beach and biscuits has moved when we rolled into town. We were excited that it was at the old pizza place we used to go to. So we could sit in our same spot with our dog. Speaking of sitting. We never before could even sit at beach and biscuits at the old location so we are very happy that they moved. But because it is fully loaded, unless you are a big eater, it is great to get something lighter like Sunrise tacos for the second option and share the two. Just note that even though the Sunrise Tacos are lighter in comparison to the Pismo Pier, it is still a very satisfying option with eggs, peppers, cheese, and homemade potatoes. They are definitely a popular spot with a following as it was still crowded even half an hour before closing and we met two people who rode their bike all the way from Southern CA just for food here. read more

What happened Beach and biscuits. We have been coming here since you opened. Never any issues. Excellent service, excellent biscuits and your gravy is almost as good as mine. Came in today, my husband loves your gnarly potatoes and I got the avocado toast. We were very surprised by the size of his dish, it looked like a flat something covered with gravy and eggs on top. What happened to those gnarly potatoes. Those big hunks of potatoes, now they look tiny little potato bits. As for my avocado toast. I have gotten it several times and always enjoyed it, but today I had to get my money back. The garlic aioli was so heavy on it I couldn't get past it. The last thing please get another water dispenser, the one you have takes someone with 3 hands to get a glass of water. I believe the spout is broken. Please don't let this gem go down. I understand cost and profit, but when you cut cost into your dishes then you will lose profit because I know my husband won't order it again and I believe others will follow. AMAZING! If you've ever had the popular Biscuit B**** in Seattle, this was very reminiscent of that. At first glance it is on the pricier side, but then you get the biggest portion! Shared the gnarly breakfast sandwich between two people and could still barely finish it. It definitely is a very carb heavy, "heart attack on a plate" meal, but totally worth it if you're visiting Pismo. The shop has limited seating as it gets very busy. But the pier is so close that you can order to-go and eat it at the beach (order online for quicker pick up). Next time I plan a trip to Pismo, this will definitely be a spot I'm coming back to. While good, it had some deficiencies in our opinion. Possibly just based on our preferences. Other options for breakfast include burritos, French toast, and yogurt bowls. Delicious looking versions of biscuits and gravy went by during our visit. For my DW today it was a yogurt cup with berries and a single biscuit with honey butter and strawberry jam, referred to here as a Sand Dollar. My choice was a breakfast sandwich called the Totally Beachin' Sammie, with fried egg and cheddar. No meat. Plus a Sand Dollar for myself. Biscuits are on the large size. We enjoy a good fluffy biscuit very much but these would be considered dense instead. But also very crumbly, breaking into chunks and pieces at a simple touch. Makes it impossible to eat the sandwich as a sandwich, just becomes knife and fork food. Disappointing. The plain biscuits were the same. Additionally, the jam was very runny and difficult to keep on the biscuit with the honey butter so hard from the frig that it was impossible to even attempt to spread without ending up with a pile of crumbs and chunks. A very casual breakfast place to match the chill vibes of Pismo Beach. I visited here on a Saturday during a roadtrip up the PCH, and just found it on Google Maps searching for a breakfast spot in the area, and it is pretty close to the pier. It was nice weather in November for outdoor seating, maybe a little hot and sunny even, so we opted for indoor seating. They have really hearty dishes, so if I ever come back, I would love to try their other offerings! food ordered - americano: this was made really well. They have a nice espresso machine and a special coffee bar area, so if you just wanted coffee, you could order there. Service was so fast and we got our drink very soon after we ordered it. I was very impressed. - gnarly biscuit sandwich: not even a sandwich, but more like a biscuit and all their meats, smothered in gravy. SOO rich and filling. The biscuit wasn't too dry and I like the creamy flavor of their gravy, which wasn't too salty. That helped since the meat was pretty salty. - tsunami burrito: ALL their meats + egg in 1 huge burrito. It was dripping with oil! Such a hearty meal. We could only finish half and saved the other half for a leftover breakfast the next day. SUPER meat forward, if you're into that kinda thing. Came here on a Monday at around 11am! An awesome brunch place and I will definitely come back to try their other menu items. Food 3.5/5: We got the Pismo Pier which was very filling. It was pretty enjoyable but something that really bothered me was the large pepper corns in the gravy. It was unpleasant to bite into them and I had to pick them out to the best of my ability. Otherwise, I loved the biscuits and the eggs were well cooked. Service 5/5: The food came out pretty quick and the workers are super nice. They have a water station stocked with sauces and utensils to make your meal enjoyable as possible. Their hours do really suck with closing time being 12:30pm. This recent visit, they had a sign stating they will move in August to what was formally Giuseppe's express. The good news is, it's only 1 block up depending on where you're coming from. An easy 2-3 minute walk from current location. Today was pretty busy but service was fast. Below are additional items the we've tried and recommend. 1. Pablo burrito: This is a must order for me each time we come here. It's the easiest to eat. Portable, handheld, and mini. I half this with my husband so we don't end up in a food coma for the drive home. 2. Boardwalk bites: Perfect bite sized dessert. If you love the biscuit, you'll love this. Wrapped in cinnamon and sugar, it's better than a churro. It is buttery and soft. It gives you a warm feeling in your heart and belly. 3. Pismo pier: Perfect size. I usually add a sausage. A sausage patty with sausage gravy and biscuit just makes everything better . People on tiktok keep calling this a pirates cove, just fyi so you don't end up with the wrong thing. 4. Gnarly Biscuit Sandwich: This is hefty, guaranteed to knock you out. It's not a sandwich that you can hold. Everything you'd want and more. Egg, all the meats, cheese, potatoes, and sausage gravy. For me this is something I'd have to share or have to split in 2-3 different portions. 4. The pablo: I have ordered this by mistake mistake because I forgot to say burrito lol. Still good, it just has potatoes in it as well. 5. Totally Beachin' Sammie; I usually add sausage patty or bacon or both. You can't go wrong with any of their items. If you love the food here and happen to be in Visalia. They have a sister location...Butter +Milk Biscuit bar. First off, I'd like to apologize for taking so long to write this review.  It was our first time here and we came the weekend before Christmas.  The place was busy and had a chill vibe to it.   There is no indoor seating, only outdoor.  They have a huge spread, which made it hard to narrow down my choices.  We were only passing through and headed back home. The dude who took my order was super nice and patient with me. I ordered: 1.   The pablo - This was amazing and just what I wanted.  It's like a chorizo & egg chimichangas with a side of gravy.   That hit the spot for me.   I didn't need anything else but a nap after that.  It was the perfect size for me.  I only ate one and shared the other one with my hubby for the drive home. 2.  Sausage, biscuits, and gravy were amazing.  I wish I had tried it fresh instead of warming it up when we got home.  It was still delicious, though.   I love that it was smothered all around in gravy, and it was a good-sized biscuit.   Not the mini ones you get at some places. 3.  Natalie's strawberry lemonade - Refreshing and simple.  Nothing more, nothing less. Quality and portion size was great. Service and pricing was also solid. But I do have some criticisms of the food. The sausage in the gravy tasted more like ground pork than sausage and the entire dish was under seasoned. I try to watch my salt intake but this REALLY needed it. They have a couple of dishes that are covered in bacon so maybe they are worried it will be too salty for those dishes? Regardless, the number one rule when assembling a dish is every component needs to be seasoned properly.
