The perfect morning starts with a fresh breakfast at Honeymoon Cafe. I absolutely adore the outdoor patio and general ambiance of this cafe. Walk up and order up front, the staff are the friendliest and bring out the your plates. I ordered a Lox Bagel with an Egg and my friend ordered their hearty Oats reset bowl with a side of bacon. The coffee here is a must, what a treat it is to sit outside and enjoy breakfast with great views. Highly recommend checking out this beloved local spot.

Some of the best hummus I have ever had - my boyfriend agreed too! Such a cute atmosphere and was perfect for a little breakfast date. Honeymoon is a cute cafe that offers vegan and gluten-free options made with local ingredients to serve healthy and wholesome meals. Staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. The breakfast potatoes were okay, but the Zen Garden Toast was great! I always appreciate any restaurant that offers and labels plant-based options and would definitely stop by again if I were to visit Pismo in the future.

Such a good place, very big menu, we all order something different and everything was delicious, we also try a few drinks and the coffee is just perfect, also the staff is very friendly and helpful, they treat us all very nicely, the place was clean and pretty, all their decorations are very pretty. They also have a little area for selling stuff.

We were driving from Pismo to Oxnard and needed a quick breakfast. The Hotel we had stayed at was great, but the breakfast there was not. So, we drove up the road and there was the Honeymoon! I actually had looked the previous day at breakfast spots in Pismo, and the Honeymoon came up. We ate inside, and we both ordered omelettes. My partner ordered cheddar with veggies - I asked for goat cheese and mushrooms - and also asked to have it cooked in butter (vs oil). I've been using butter since I began making omelettes as a short order cook in 1973. There's no going back. The omelette was very good - I was a little surprised to see the mushrooms inside and the goat cheese evenly on top....but it worked! My partner also thought her's was delicious. For the sides, she had the potatoes and I had the toast. I asked for the toast to be dark as you can see in the picture....I like it just like that! My partner was a little disappointed with the potatoes - again, a 'picture is worth a thousand words'. Out of the entire stack of potatoes, maybe ten were suitable for eating - the rest were crumbling, burnt pieces of potato! No matter!! The omelettes are what really mattered! My toast was fine - when you go, think about ordering toast, instead of potatoes.

Nice little cafe in downtown Pismo, perfect for brunch! We ordered a couple of plates which were tasty and made to order. The food came out very fast. We also got their chia seed pudding which was super flavorful! Service was super friendly. They allow dogs on the outside seating. Plenty of parking nearby as well.

Came in on a weekday morning. Busy place since it's a definite area favorite. The staff are super nice & accommodating. Their menu is definitely different in a good way. Very creative dishes to choose from. All of their drinks are house made & high quality. Love their orange juice & their coffee. Atmosphere is very laid back.

This little cafe was recommended for breakfast. Very busy with long lines. Sometimes that's a good sign. There are few tables for the amount of customers that visit, in my opinion. Furthermore, the tables are not assigned by the restaurant so people flock to them even before they order their food. I ordered the French toast. My daughter had the oatmeal bowl and my wife had the salmon and eggs. My daughter and I found that our meals lacked flavor. My wife liked her salmon and eggs. I honestly wasn't impressed with either the experience or the meal. I would have to give it another try, perhaps next time.

This place was a perfect stop for our road trip up north! Right off the freeway and plenty of parking during the week. My girlfriend and I both got the B.L.A.T. sandwich on sourdough. I got the green salad and she got the pasta salad and both dishes were DELICIOUS! I also got the mocha chai charged drink, so good! The vibe is precious and welcoming with a lot of goodies and gifts you can buy. The staff is very willing to help and ask questions if needed! Definitely recommend!!

Having cruised around the night prior, little did I know that this was a business that I drove by. I found it interesting that for metered parking, you have to pay on Sundays but during the week it's free. Definitely knew it was a good spot, by the packed outdoor area and the line coming outside. It took maybe 15-20 minutes to make it up front. I ordered an East Coast Latte along with a breakfast quesadilla which was gigantic and flavorful. Nothing like sitting outside knowing you're breathing in ocean water and being able to take it easy in the morning. I really enjoyed the iced coffee which had vermont maple syrup along with two shots of espresso. Definitely a great overall dining experience.

What a great find right off Pismo Beach. Awesome little cafe just a stones throw off the coast. Perfect stop before heading out on a road trip. Super friendly staff and great service. The food was amazing as well no complaints.

10/10 experience. Gluten free french toast and they even offered to make a new batter to avoid cross contamination! Make sure to come early to get the first batch of the day! Amazing experience and super knowledgeable staff!!! Could not recommend enough!

Came here while in Pismo Beach with friends on a rare rainy morning at 11:00 AM and it was packed. There's a lot of outdoor seating, but because of the weather, everyone was crowded inside. We were lucky to snag a table because a party was leaving at the same time as we came in. You order at the register first and then sit, and they call out your name when your order is ready. The cashier was super nice and answered our questions nicely about ingredients and suggestions. There's a small egg surcharge right now, so all egg dishes have an extra $1 tacked on. The cooks in the kitchen were bantering back and forth with each other, creating a loud and laughter-filled environment that was really pleasant to be in. There's displays with goods for sale, from cafe merch to 3D printed keychains to jewelry. There's lots of games and books to borrow, and condiments are available on shelves to take to your table. Utensils are available, and they're a hodgepodge of different cutlery sets. Very homey atmosphere here that was very comforting. I got the Cowboy Burrito in a Spinach Tortilla with no sour cream. The burrito was decently sized and was filled well with the different meats. The burrito was fine. My complaint, however, was that a lot of the sausage in the burrito was pink and chewy and I was afraid it was raw. I picked out pieces because they did not seem fully cooked. Luckily, I did not feel sick afterwards, but this was a big concern for me. I really liked the cafe as a whole, but because of the food quality and safety concerns, I'm not sure I will be back.

Grazing Goat Cheese Omelette

Honeymoon Cafe is located near the Pismo pier and beach. Decided to have a late brunch as I saw pictures of it and it looked enticing. Coming in, the interior was really nicely decorated! They had a variety of jewelry, postcards, hoodies, etc. they were selling. I ordered the Grazing Goat Cheese Omelette with the blueberry matcha. Now, here's where it kind of went downhill. The side of potatoes that were included were brunt and had no flavor. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper just to give it something. The omelette tasted dry, didn't even have spinach on it (the description of the meal said it would), and only had a little bit of mushrooms. The blueberry matcha...was probably one of the best worst tasting matchas I've had. The blueberry and matcha were nonexistent in the drink. The color was off, the taste was really off to the point where I was tasting watered down coffee instead. It was really confusing. And to add to my meal, when I asked for a straw, the waitress didn't hand me the straw but instead just placed it on the table with no covering. The cafe's hygiene wasn't the greatest as well as it smelled off in the inside. I don't know if I got the wrong meal + drink and maybe they offer better ones but it'll be awhile until I try this place again.

The clam chowder was super filling and had a side of loaded fries which were garlicky - my fave! And the 805 wrap tasted just like an in n out burger. Great portions and everything tasted amazing. Plenty of items to choose from and they also have beer available. Indoor and outdoor seating so I was able to have my dog with me.

The counterperson taking my order kept saying lettuce, and I repeated a few times, you mean cabbage, since that's what is written on the menu, and they seemed a bit confused.. But it did come with lettuce, not cabbage (?). Hmm. The fish was okay, but not fried to enough of a crisp, so it was not crunchy. It was also a relatively small amount of cod in the the burrito wrap. I say burrito wrap as the tortilla was pretty thick and barely toasted. I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.

Soooo...Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach is apparently now their only venue (the location on Tank Farm…read moreroad in SLO changed a while back to "Petras"). We were sorry to see that location close down and extend our sympathies to Dallas (Owner) at having to close that location down (good help is so hard to find). Regardless, it won't keep us away from Brooks...cause the food is still "bangin". Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.

I'd heard of this "side" location on the news a few months ago...and today I had a ride down to…read morePismo for dinner. It is a very slow Tuesday evening prefect to give the place a Yelp! I walked right in and sat at the bar, there are about six large high backed booths and a few tables scattered in between. The menu is very simple; sandwiches hot or cold, salads and pizzas, and slices. The bar looks pretty friendly, I wouldn't call it a neighborhood dive but certainly a great "date" spot. Looks like a well stocked deli case with stuff and a few shelves with other goodies for eating. I ordered the Hot Italian Chop Sando $16, basically a heaping of the Italian chop salad on toasted bread. It was good, could do with more of the italian meats dressing flavor was good. I had to check out the deli case to find my desert, looking real pretty was a genuine carrot cake. Three thinish layers with butter cream frosting which was not overpowering sweet. $10 okay that makes the cake worth about $100, meaning it was a thin slice. Both were really just enough, portion control is a new behavior for me... I'll be back for some pizza, maybe bring a date too. Always top quality in their products created and served in their locations, I've never been unhappy. Thanks, Foodguy-martin
