We recently tried this place in the space of the former Persian restaurant for breakfast. The service was very sweet. The menu is varied. I had my go-to brekkie item, Huevos Rancheros. It was presented beautifully. The tortillas they use are hard. The components of the dish are layered one on top of the other. This makes it a little hard to cut and eat. The sauce appeared house made. It had a hint of smoke, probably from chipotles. It did lack some acid, but some salsa picosa helped. We will definitely return.

If you love chilaquiles I recommend you taste them here. This is one of the closest sauces to the one my mom makes at home. I usually always get green but these were very tasty. A little spice and good flavor crispy tortilla chips and a nice side of avocado. My bf got the chorizo Benedict big portion and good flavor. My only complaint overall with both dishes are eggs not fully cooked when I order over medium I can't have the egg white still runny and this was the case with both our eggs. Maybe to some it's not a big deal but it is for us. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. We went early so it was pretty quiet when we arrived but it slowly started to get busy. I would come back here for the chilaquiles again for sure!

Second time here and it was just as good as the first time. The food was fresh and delicious. The service is always fast. It was a little on the loud side today but it's to be expected when everyone is enjoying their time and food.

Very good place, huge plates, delicious taste, they serve pretty fast, service is very good also, i just want to mention that over the weekends they are very full and may not have the best details attention in all the orders so keep that in mind when you have an specific request, coffee is delicious and they do refills, also their prices were very good also, I like that.

Watch out Grover Beach! An absolutely delicious local Hispanic owned Brunch spot is here!! We got the sunrise crisp and the tiramisu French toast - 10/10 for both! The home fries with the chicken fried steak were perfectly seasoned and crispy The tiramisu butter was delicious and the bread was fluffy and soft On a side note.. the ambiance was welcoming with beautiful plants hanging from the walls and cute light fixtures It was pretty packed when we went around 1 pm - Expect a wait (about 30-40 min for us) but it's totally worth it! Only thing I can think of for improvement would be using real maple syrup to enhance the already delicious flavors I highly recommend HolyBelly for your next brunch!

Fast service and delicious food with ample seating. The waffle breakfast was light and crispy with fruit. The huevos rancheros was tasty too.

My partner came here on a late Saturday morning around 10am. There was no wait and the staff were attentive the moment we walked through the door. We were immediately sat and they took our drink order. My partner and I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and all American breakfast with fruit instead of bacon. The food came in good timing. The food was delicious and I particularly liked how the burrito has bell peppers, it gave it a nice crunch and flavor. House potatoes were made yummy with red skin potatoes. It was a nice morning breakfast! Got slightly more busier within the next hour.

Recently had the opportunity to have a wonderful breakfast at this quaint little café. Service was quick and very efficient and although there's a wait for your table it goes quickly. I have the eggs Benedict, which is very classic and deliciously made my friend had the garden omelette which as you can see was delightful. Can't wait to come back and try something new.

We had heard great things about this new restaurant in Grover Beach but frankly it was just average. Other reviewers have talked about beautiful presentation but there was nothing on ours. Out of four people one person thought his meal was excellent and would return. He had the chorizo eggs Benedict. I had an egg and biscuit sandwich which was tasty enough but no presentation and too much salty Canadian bacon. Just a sandwich on a white plate. The biscuit was toasted which I do not care for. One person had the tamale and it was again white food on a white plate. She ate half of it. One person had a Denver omelette and hash-browns. Just OK. To top it off the sound was obnoxious. The voices of the staff visiting at the front desk carried loudly. Plus they had a mixer going that drowned out all conversation in the restaurant for several minutes at a time. We mentioned it and they could have closed the door to the back but they did not.

Food was great. We ordered tiramisu french toast and holy belly omelette. But the service is meh. Staff wasn't pretty nice. Vibe was awkward. Ask for what we want to drink right at the second we just sat down, it was our first time here. We ordered food then in the middle of eating like 15mins in they gave us a check. They close at 2pm but we got our check at 1:10pm. Not sure if they treat all of the customers the same way or just us. Just not as happy as I was expected to come here to eat on my day off.

Garden Glow Omelette....not a single vegetable in it had any flavor. I understand it's winter but do better.

Food was completely literally flavorless and extremely expensive. Dive restaurant inside with dirty restrooms, mediocre service. Electronic fee charge for card payments with no notice. First time going upon referral and will never return.

We stopped by on the way home from Pismo Beach. We found HollyBelly which is a small restaurant in Grover City. I ordered the Chilaquiles with red sauce and over medium eggs. I usually rate a restaurant on how good their chilaquiles are and they passed my test. They were flavorful and with the right spicy kick to it. My wife had the La Royal which was similar to a Monte Christo sandwich. Everything was delicious and our server was excellent! We are glad we found this spot.

Had the chicken fried steak with hash browns. I added the gravy to the potatoes and it was delicious. Definitely need to come back.

The owner was incredibly friendly and recommended the porchetta--oven-roasted pork belly with crackling, grilled purple shallots, arugula, and house-made truffle aioli on a torpedo roll, and it did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the Caprese and a bowl of pasta e fagioli, both of which were perfectly done. As self-proclaimed foodies, we were really impressed, this place is on point! One of the highlights was chatting with our server, who clearly takes pride in the deli and shared that the owner's family also has a restaurant in Berkeley. The bread and dipping oil were so good that we ended up buying a bottle to take home. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. The setting was perfect and quaint. Highly recommend these! The clam chowder was super filling and had a side of loaded fries which were garlicky - my fave! And the 805 wrap tasted just like an in n out burger. Great portions and everything tasted amazing. Plenty of items to choose from and they also have beer available. Indoor and outdoor seating so I was able to have my dog with me.

The counterperson taking my order kept saying lettuce, and I repeated a few times, you mean cabbage, since that's what is written on the menu, and they seemed a bit confused.. But it did come with lettuce, not cabbage (?). Hmm. The fish was okay, but not fried to enough of a crisp, so it was not crunchy. It was also a relatively small amount of cod in the the burrito wrap. I say burrito wrap as the tortilla was pretty thick and barely toasted. I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.

Soooo...Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach is apparently now their only venue (the location on Tank Farm…read moreroad in SLO changed a while back to "Petras"). We were sorry to see that location close down and extend our sympathies to Dallas (Owner) at having to close that location down (good help is so hard to find). Regardless, it won't keep us away from Brooks...cause the food is still "bangin". Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.
