I went there this morning for breakfast at 8:30. I got the steak with the spicy french fries. I ordered it medium rare, and it was definitely well done. I'm only guessing they did it well done because of the extremely gamey flavor of the steak, suggests that it was past its due date. I hope I don't get sick. I definitely do not recommend this place at all for the food. On top of that there was zero service and the ambience was a hospital cafeteria environment. Will never come back. they should make zero stars a thing on this platform. Honestly, if I wasn't on a road trip already in the next town, I would have asked for my money back. Lastly, they say their dog friendly, but they are definitely not.

Cute little local diner with great customer service food was good. And the hash browns made it worth it. Soft inside crispy on the outside. My husband had the classic Benedict hollandaise sauce was executed perfectly. I had the holy belly omelette its was good but I like more veggies with my meat and less egg but still good.

We went there on a Monday and it was still pretty packed. We got seated and served pretty quickly. my holybelly omelette was solid, with all kinds of meat inside and potatoes that were good, but not great. My wife got the garden omelette and she loved the option of fruit. All in all, it was a solid breakfast.

We had the Steak and Eggs and the California Benedict. The California Benedict was really fresh and bright with spinach, avocado and tomato instead of the regular ham. Ordered the steak medium but can well done but it was still really yummy. Also able to sub fruit for the hash browns. All in all food and service was really good and the coastal boho ambiance made for a relaxed breakfast.

Update 2/15/26 Still great service and happy to see this place is still busy. I had the chorizo Benedict this time around. The poached egg was a little over poached (not runny at all), but still good. We order our hash browns extra crispy and they came out perfect. My wife had the Golden Flame Chicken Sandwich and is was good, but not spicy at all. She was hoping for more spicy, so she added Cholula hot sauce to the chicken. Still looking forward to trying other options on the menu. Next time. Cheers!

If you love chilaquiles I recommend you taste them here. This is one of the closest sauces to the one my mom makes at home. I usually always get green but these were very tasty. A little spice and good flavor crispy tortilla chips and a nice side of avocado. My bf got the chorizo Benedict big portion and good flavor. My only complaint overall with both dishes are eggs not fully cooked when I order over medium I can't have the egg white still runny and this was the case with both our eggs. Maybe to some it's not a big deal but it is for us. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. We went early so it was pretty quiet when we arrived but it slowly started to get busy. I would come back here for the chilaquiles again for sure!

We recently tried this place in the space of the former Persian restaurant for breakfast. The service was very sweet. The menu is varied. I had my go-to brekkie item, Huevos Rancheros. It was presented beautifully. The tortillas they use are hard. The components of the dish are layered one on top of the other. This makes it a little hard to cut and eat. The sauce appeared house made. It had a hint of smoke, probably from chipotles. It did lack some acid, but some salsa picosa helped. We will definitely return.

Watch out Grover Beach! An absolutely delicious local Hispanic owned Brunch spot is here!! We got the sunrise crisp and the tiramisu French toast - 10/10 for both! The home fries with the chicken fried steak were perfectly seasoned and crispy The tiramisu butter was delicious and the bread was fluffy and soft On a side note.. the ambiance was welcoming with beautiful plants hanging from the walls and cute light fixtures It was pretty packed when we went around 1 pm - Expect a wait (about 30-40 min for us) but it's totally worth it! Only thing I can think of for improvement would be using real maple syrup to enhance the already delicious flavors I highly recommend HolyBelly for your next brunch!

Very good place, huge plates, delicious taste, they serve pretty fast, service is very good also, i just want to mention that over the weekends they are very full and may not have the best details attention in all the orders so keep that in mind when you have an specific request, coffee is delicious and they do refills, also their prices were very good also, I like that.

Second time here and it was just as good as the first time. The food was fresh and delicious. The service is always fast. It was a little on the loud side today but it's to be expected when everyone is enjoying their time and food.

Amazing food and service.! The small restaurant has good ambiance and the plants inside are very welcoming. We got a table as soon as we entered inside. Loved the place. The food was delicious.!!! Highly recommend.!!

Recently had the opportunity to have a wonderful breakfast at this quaint little café. Service was quick and very efficient and although there's a wait for your table it goes quickly. I have the eggs Benedict, which is very classic and deliciously made my friend had the garden omelette which as you can see was delightful. Can't wait to come back and try something new.

    Chili Verde Benedict

Food was amazing! I had a chili verde Benedict and as you can see, the presentation is beautiful and the flavor is perfect. Totally unique. The service is attentive and kind. The ambiance is cozy. I would highly recommend this place. I am definitely coming again when I am in the area.

Beachin' Biscuits had amazing reviews and I do love a good biscuit so I headed out to order some takeout. Super cute location with both indoor and outdoors seating. It was early, but there were a few customers already there eating their breakfast. The customer service was outstanding. The young man who took my order was really friendly and helped me decide what to order. I opted for the scrambled eggs that came with cheese on top the homemade house, potatoes, and an amazing biscuit. I also got the honey butter and the strawberry jam. My order came pretty quickly and off I went. Eggs - perfectly cooked and loved the addition of the cheese on top. Wasn't overpowering at all. Potatoes - I actually really loved these. They had a smoky flavor to them that was just delicious. Biscuit - this was one of the best biscuits I've ever had. It was light and buttery and just delicious. I could easily eat two or three of these myself. Thankfully, I only got one and shared it with Mom. The honey butter was delicious, but the star of the show was that strawberry jelly oh my goodness it's so good! 10 out of 10 I will be back!!

Most of the parking you will find is "paid parking "...ya sorry, I don't "pay" for parking...just not a "believer", I rather park farther away from a venue and enjoy the walk to and from. Lucky I didn't have to do that because just as I arrived at the restaurant another patron was leaving the small parking lot between Beachin Biscuits and Alex's BBQ ...amazing! The "order line" was out the door and all tables (first come first serve) were occupied by customers, but not to worry...the tables "turn over" pretty quickly and again, I got lucky and seating wasn't a problem (but it could be). The associate who took our order was cheerful and all associates were seemingly very busy. Our order: from the "Gravy Lovers" section...GNARLY BISCUIT SANDWICH (5/5 - truly a magnificent dish...and a great introduction to this restaurant's "best"), from the "Breakfast Burritos and Tacos" section...SUNRISE TACOS (5/5 - very tasty) and THE PABLO (4/5 - flavorful and a great "hand-held" food), from the Lunch Menu "Sandwiches" section...THE TIDE POOL w/Spicy mayo (3/5 - this was the "lowest rated offering"...wasn't hot/warm when it was served - felt like it had been left "standing for awhile" before being served...needed more spicy mayo and the chicken seemed "dry".), from the "Homemade Biscuit" section...BOARDWALK BITES (3.5/5 - really good when hot...but after a few minutes were very "dry" ...I should have had these w/coffee). The "value factor" is high here my dear Yelp Review Readers ...everyone had leftovers to "take with" and mine last 3 additional meals! Also (FYI) there is only 1 bathroom...so be prepared to "wait" if the need should arise. Nevertheless, all in all...the vibe is energetic and fun, parking isn't the best or pleasant, the food is, by enlarge, really good (recommend ordering an offering in which a biscuit plays an integral part...it is after all "Beachin Biscuits") and the service (for our experience) was good. On this occasion...in this Yelper's opinion, Beachin Biscuits is in fact "worth the hype" and truly earned this "highly recommend" 4.5 Star "we'll be back soon" review.

Overall, the name of this dish was 100% spot on as it was messy as hell. It was a super generous serving and definitely covered two meals for me, which was impressive. It also came with a choice of more-different-carb, so I opted for a biscuit. It was surprisingly crispy on the outside and made for a nice contrast-y dessert bite when topped with their homemade jam. We both ordered the seafood platter for lunch, and chose the soup as the side (one clam chowder, one chicken tortilla). While the wait staff was very good and the wait time was typical for noontime, once the food arrived, the quality of the meal was quite substandard, especially for this area. I have never had such gristly fish, ever. I had to work hard to cut through it with a typical butter knife. It had no flavor and was unpleasant to chew. There was no flakiness to any of the four pieces. The shrimp was good, but I assume it was frozen. The cocktail sauce and the tartar sauce were both delicious, but it just wasn't enough to mask the texture of the fish. I then tried the chicken tortilla soup since the waiter recommended it. Instead of chicken meat, it has chicken skin. Gross. I will say the clam chowder was very good, and I regretted not ordering it. I'm sorry to say we won't be back unless just for a cup of chowder and a beer.

There are even toys and kids book for the little ones in their cover patio. 1 star Customer service: Jaimie, the owner, is one of the most personal and interesting person you'd ever meet. The very first week that I started coming here consistently, I was so surprised when I CALLED, not even ordering in person, to order my usual Dolomitti for the 3rd time in a row, she immediately recognized my voice on the phone and knew my usual preference of coffee ice cubes in my drinks. I soon became the "Dolomitti lady" lol. It still amazes me how she can remember that given all the customers she gets each day. 1 star Quality of coffee/drinks/food: One of the reasons I can't help but keep coming back to Perfetto is the wide range of food and pastry goods that they have to offer. I try not to drink coffee first thing in the morning, knowing it would turn into a very effective laxative. It's definitely a huge bonus that not only does Perfetto offer plenty of sandwiches/paninis/salad options, but they're one of the best I have had. My go to every time is the Tuscany panini. They use sourdough bread from Grover Beach Sourdough, which cannot get better than that. The bread is perfectly pressed and toasted with the perfect crunch and cheese pull. Besides, it's a given that I love the coffee here to keep coming back and ordering the same thing. 2 stars! I don't think I've ever gotten a hot drinks from here, so I can't personally tell if they do latte art or not. I arrived around 12:00 p.m. and was warmly greeted by a young Hispanic hostess, who seated me in the very back corner of the restaurant where there were no other guests. I waited until approximately 12:10 p.m. before she returned and asked if anyone had taken my order yet. I told her they had not. During that time, another group of gentlemen was seated toward the front of the restaurant. They received their drinks and appetizers before anyone had even come to take my drink order. That was the first moment I realized something wasn't right. Writing this review is difficult because I genuinely dislike making issues about race. I believe that accusations of discrimination should never be made lightly. However, what happened next left me deeply unsettled. The hostess walked over to several servers who were gathered near the kitchen area. From where I was sitting, it appeared she was trying to find someone to serve me. None of the servers responded until a young woman standing near the register said out loud, "I'll just help him." At that moment, I couldn't help but wonder what was happening. I was the only Black customer in the restaurant. There were more servers than guests, several employees had made eye contact with me, and yet no one had come to my table. Whether intentional or not, I was made to feel overlooked and unimportant. When the server finally came to my table, I only ordered an appetizer because I was seriously considering leaving. I had specifically come for the fried green tomatoes, so I decided to stay. Even then, the appetizer took another 15 minutes to arrive, while other customers continued receiving their food and drinks at what appeared to be a normal pace in a restaurant that was not busy. Eventually, my entrée arrived, but for the remainder of my visit I felt completely ignored. When it was time to leave, I walked to the front to pay my bill myself. Despite how I felt, I still left a tip because I believe in treating people with kindness and respect regardless of my experience. I'm sharing this review not out of anger, but because I want management to understand how this experience made me feel. I left feeling disrespected, overlooked, and expendable. Whether what happened was intentional or simply poor service, the impact was the same. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location, and I sincerely hope no one else leaves feeling the way I did.
