Met friends here my first time here ! I walked in and sat down with friends for about 15 mins asked the waitress who showed up if I can order an alcoholic drink ! She said happy hour was over in about 20 minutes ! She said she was very busy and said she would come back when she had time ! I then knew she wouldn't come back for a while so I decided to go to the bar to get a drink! I ordered a beer on tap $4.00 ! Ok no problem ! Seems reasonable! Beer was warm though not cold ! Who wants a warm beer? I'm not exaggerating !! Went to table to meet friends! Waitress came asked if anyone wanted drinks friends ordered drinks n water ! This bar is 5/5 stars simply because of the consistency in chill vibes. For those of us who gets off of work late and looking for a quick drink to wind down and destress, this should be on your go to spot. For one, they have excellent service by the bartenders to waitresses, and two, they close at 2am. They also seem to have extensive menu items that make your mouth water but unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try them because the kitchen closes at 1030pm on weekdays. They have plenty of parking spaces and offer both indoor and outdoor sitting areas. If you haven't already, give this place a try with or without your friends. Also, there are other interesting restaurants and stores nearby in the same plaza like shoe station, total wines, sugar boba, and Yami Kbbq. read more

We went here after going to Total Wine next door. We sat outside. Honestly, their menu is not 'my cup of tea.' It's typical bar food-tater tots, chicken tenders/wings and an Italian Sub and fries. I'm being generous here with 3... are at bar last week. Bartenders seemed more in talking to each other and locals than taking my order... I don't need ten minutes to look at a menu. But ok- it wasn't busy. I was one of 12 total patrons there. I'm sure if you like beer, you can drink enough to ignore the ridiculously over seasoned food. Burger that's supposed to be fresh ground beef either is a frozen patty or the quality of the beef they buy to "grind up" is pretty bad. I guess they tried making up for it by adding seasoning. And I mean. A LOT of seasoning. The French fries were ok I guess. They have a digital jukebox, which is cool except for the guy playing 2010s metal and rock, and hey I'm all for some Korn and puddle of mud etc- but not for an hour straight. Due to the lack of customers it was kind of obnoxious to have to listen to the music whilst the guy played air guitar or drummed on the bar (not on key either- but I digress). The bartenders definitely cater to their regulars in all aspects. I ordered an appetizer too, which, came out with my burger. The app was barely edible (ridiculously over seasoned as well)- I guess again if you're wasted you don't care what the food tastes like. So. That's the vibe. On a plus side, they do have a whole bunch of televisions with sports on at all times. So that was pretty cool. I could have, however, just gone to the five guys down the street, got a burger to go, and watch watched sports in my living room, and avoided the hours of heartburn afterwards. Beers on tap and liquor very complete. Not too much of a beer guy and couldn't resist the ol time favorite Moscow Mule. It was very well-made by the bartender. Cool place for lunch. Quick and easy, while not sacrificing the ambiance to some whole in the wall. This place is up a notch from Bru's Room, Hurricane's or the Ale House across the street. Terrible bar service. My husband and I came in hoping to enjoy a few drinks and appetizers at the bar. We sat there for 15 minutes without being acknowledged once. The bartender looked at us multiple times and still chose not to say anything, not even a simple 'I'll be right with you.' We ended up leaving and taking our money elsewhere. Came here on a Saturday night and it wasn't too packed. We sat outside but it seemed like everyone outside was smoking so we moved tables to be further away from the smoking. My husband got a beer and liked it. We got our food and the food was exceptional. I took off stars because we had a couple raw chicken wings. I felt like I could feel that it was raw when I bit into it, but couldn't tell when I looked down because it was dark. I decided to turn on my flashlight on my phone to notice the drum stick I was eating was, in fact, raw with a little drop of blood on my plate. I was disgusted and stopped eating. The drumstick was very meaty and maybe just needed some extra time to cook, but a chef should know that. Other than that, the brisket taco was amazing. read more

This popular local bar and restaurant in renisaince commons offers an impressive variety of beers on tap along with a great selection of bottles and cans. Pair that along with its delicious food and a fun and hip vibe that's perfect for a night out with friends. One thing to add to the fun vibe, Brass Tap has a number of oversized patio games: corn hole, giant connect 4, giant jenga, etc. definitely a fun place to be out with friends at. TBT Also has bar trivia weekly and the Host Stacey makes it fun and lively. If you're a big bar trivia fan, you know the host can really make or break the experience. The beer selection at The Brass Tap is truly outstanding, with a wide range of local and regional craft beers, as well as a growing number of international offerings (mostly Chimay and some other well known internationals). I had to give brass tap one more try... to meet up with a group of friends. Sadly. I'm done. We had 2 in our group using wheelchairs.... They have a bunch of high top tables outside covered and low tops outside... not covered. So baking in the s.fl sun. Asked can we rearrange and get 2 low tables covered. Advised no. Seriously! The tables are movable. My 1 friend in a wheelchair canceled due to this. They said it was their anniversary and they expected to get very busy. There was 1 person waiting in all tables.... It took forever to get orders in and then get checks after. This is how it always is. Reason #2 I won't be back. Reason #3. 6 of us were sharing 1 food menu. Online there is a brunch menu. We weren't given a brunch menu so I guess they aren't doing that anymore. They serve liquor cocktails but have no cocktail menu. We asked. Finally. The beer... whether the regular menu or anniversary menu.... Is way too expensive. Thank goodness the place didn't really get too busy because 1 person rubbing the tables really was not enough. The bar is not kid friendly even when our group was sitting outside. Also, the bar management decided my Touch Tunes selections of Elevation Worship and Hillsong Worship were not preferable so they skipped through them - keep in mind i paid for these. They then proceeded to allow a song called "I sucked another dick last night" followed by "Eatin pussy/kickin ass" to play minutes afterward. I understand this is a bar atmosphere and we came to have a few beers but this is unacceptable. Last thing, we waited 10-15 minutes for an order of ice cream for the kids that never came. On Dec 5th, we helped the Brass Tap celebrate the anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition. It was a tough task -- requiring selection, ordering and quaffing of a draught brew -- but in exchange for our effort, the generous people at Brass Tap rewarded us with 1/2 off the price. Doesn't get much better than that! (Well, a free brewski would be better, but that would be a bit too much to ask. We were grateful for the 1/2 off offer) And since beers get lonely without some food, we enjoyed an order of chicken nachos. They met the requisite requirement of having toppings on every chip, and the nachos were tasty with a variety of toppings. The portion size was large enough to share. The menu also included other interesting shareable items such as flatbread pizzas, shrimp, pretzels, wings and more. Although the Brass Tap isn't a brewery, they do have beers from several local breweries on tap and in bottles. The place wasn't very crowded (doesn't everyone want to celebrate the end of Prohibition?). Maybe the crowds were arriving later for trivia night. Despite not being busy, the staff didn't seem particularly attentive. They were friendly and did respond when we requested their service though. The Brass tab was surprisingly good. I typically don't have high expectations for chain bars, but Brass tap definitely delivered. The beer list is long and the amount of beers on tap is impressive. Their lunch menu had a nice selection of apps, burgers, and sandwiches. We got the Buffalo wings to start. I'd like to highlight that they had a significant amount of wing sauces - including Korean BBQ and Sriracha! The steak sandwich I had was very good as well, although I would have liked just a bit more steak. Separately, our waiter did a great job taking care of us and was extremely attentive. We never felt like we were waiting too long, and the food came out really fast. Overall I'd recommend the Brass Tap - it was a great choice for lunch. read more

I have eaten here many times! Love their Brisket taco's! On the menu Yesterday, my husband and I ordered them! They were not served in tacos, they were served in tortillas. Truly a sloppy mess! I asked the server about tacos. He was a big burly guy with a big full beard! "I've been working here for 6years and we never had taco's!" Interesting! I happen to be a chef and travelled to 42 countries having wonderful food! I DO Know the difference! Get rid of the jerk or remove Tacos from the menu! We won't be back!' Four years after they opened, The Brass Tap continues to be a golden staple of Boynton Beach, serving a fantastic tap list of craft beers both local and regional from across the country. Whether you enter through the double doors or through the industrial garage opening, you feel like you're walking into a hangout you've been to many times -- regardless if you're patronizing for the first time or thousanth. The bar staff are super cool and down to earth, who make you feel like one of the regulars. They have great knowledge of the beers on tap, as well as the spirits available on the shelf -- they do have some nice bourbons and American whiskeys. Most recently, they celebrated their fourth anniversary, and had a special tap list of limited release beers that local breweries had released for the occasion such as the Due South Chocolate Cherry Coconut Porter and the NOBO Orange Vanilla What's My Haze Again IPA. Combined with releases by Southern Tier and Avery, you'll be impressed with the selection if you're a brewhead or a newbie. With parking available in the lot where The Brass Tap is located, it can get a little limited if there's a special event going on. However, you can usually find a spot if you go further down the lot or at one of the adjacent ones in the surrounding plaza. Additionally, they have a kitchen where they serve dependable bar food, which if you are knocking back a few, you will want to nosh. The burgers and wings are good, as well as the other bites on the menu. I LOVE me a good Brass Tap! I have been to so many different locations over the years, so it was nice getting to visit one that had such a large food menu and an entire selection of beers/liquor. My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and walked right in and sat at the bar. Tayler, our bartender, was fantastic! She acknowledged us right away and gave great suggestions. When I couldn't decide on what beer I wanted to drink, she let me taste test some options until I found the perfect one. This place has SO many beer options, that there's bound to be one that's right for you. We were both super hungry, so we decided to split an appetizer to start. We went with the chips and queso. The portion was huggeeeee, so I'm glad we decided to share. The queso was delicious, and I am a prettt big queso snob. For our entrees, I got the sirloin style flatbread at the recommendation of Tayler. Solid choice because it was so yummy! The pizza was cooked perfectly, and the sirloin was tender. My boyfriend got the Sweet Heat BBQ Bacon burger and boy was it a doozy. He loved it though! Definitely would recommend for burger lovers. Overall, super chill bar to hang out with friends or watch a game. There's a large outdoor area with some life size games you can play. This place can get really packed depending on which day of the week it is. Wednesday nights are for karaoke! So if you're tipsy enough to hit center stage, I'd say GO FOR IT! The crowd will surely cheer you on. Aside from the indoor entertainment, they also provide outdoor activities including life sized jenga, connect four, etc. So why only 3 stars?? Wellll let's get to the nitty gritty, brass tap offers a wide variety of beers on tap, although most of the beers we had requested weren't available. On some nights the beers are cold and crisp, other nights.. not so much. The food isn't anything spectacular, just your typical bar food. I had tried the chicken tacos as well as the prime rib Mac n cheese, both were exceptional and priced reasonably. The service at brass tap could be better; at times I've wanted to walk out due to inattentive servers. :( Overall, this place would be a good hangout spot to watch a game or partake in weekly activities such as trivia night or karaoke. read more
