We went because the Halloween theme was amazing. We saw it online and we couldn't wait to go. The drinks were so yummy and the food. Oh my God, the meatballs with the Pinot Noir sauce to die for the black linguine with meatballs was very good as well and I cannot remember I think the other one was just regular pasta, but it was very good. Me and the girlfriend had a wonderful time for Halloween. We did go dressed up so we had some fun now. The service was very slow Very small restaurant, but they were overwhelmed by the amount of people that were there so the service could approve but other than that, we had a fabulous time. What started out as a lunch date on a Friday with my husband was not a good experience. We had never been here and since we love Tex-Mex, we had to try it out. The hostess was very friendly and seated us quickly. There were not many people dining and now I know why. The restaurant was dirty and had a weird (not good) smell inside. Ricki, our server, brought us fresh chips and salsa which were very good. I loved the hot green salsa mixed with the mild red salsa. We looked over the menu and ordered two non traditional Mexican dishes. The Tamales #8, with chili, rice and beans, sounded good but it was drowned in a sauce with cheese and hard to figure out where the tamales were, though it tasted good. I ordered from the GLUTEN FREE menu section because the Poblano stuffed pepper was supposed to be filled with cilantro, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and chicken. What they brought out first was something I definitely didn't order. Then they came back with another entree that did not have any of those ingredients in it except the chicken and cheese in the pepper. I picked through it and ate the pepper but when the check came I told them again this was not what I ordered. The kitchen had no idea what they were doing because when the owner came to the table to discuss the situation, we realized there was a bigger problem. THE DISH WAS NOT SERVED GLUTEN FREE. That was a real problem that could have had serious medical reprocussions for a person with Ciliac Disease. The owner explained that they took a pepper and scraped out the pre-made beef from it and filled it with chicken. Since it was never fresh prepared, it was also not gluten free so she quickly threw our check away as to dispose of the chance that I would call the Health Department for many reasons. Do not order from the gluten free menu if you are gluten intolerant! Do not eat here unless you want to take a chance of getting sick from the kitchen messing up. Our server Ricki was nice and funny but she joked at the table next to us that if anything was bad, her name was Sally. Well Sally, it was really bad and we won't be back. read more

Decided to join friends after work here. Not surprised to see their prices rise, that said one expects similar or better quality. Not tonite. The $17 burger was a disgrace. Tasteless, wilted lettuce & onions and fries on the plate I could literally count. The burger looked like it was stepped on flat & dry after requesting it medium. The quesadilla was even worse. He enjoyed his two beers (you had to order two for the price of one). Chips were delivered warm and crispy right away. They gave us two separate small cups of salsa -- one for each of us. Both were addictive. We also had one of their taco deals. I got my two tacos on soft flour shells. I tried a ground beef one and a chicken one. The tacos came stuffed with meat, fresh lettuce and tomato, etc. They were served over refried beans and Mexican rice. I was surprised to find that I really liked the chicken taco the best of everything -- as it had tender shredded chicken in it. My lovely wife and I were in town for a week visiting relatives so we wanted to have a meal at Rosalita's which we try to visit every time we are here. Despite the small parking lot being full and being pretty busy inside we were brought to a table and seated immediately. The place is large, with plenty of seating in rooms to the left and right of the host stand. On the far end of the right room is the bar, Rosie's Cantina, sectioned off with a wall, windows, and an arched doorway. It was karaoke night in the cantina. Multicolored walls, hanging sombreros, and chairs provide the atmosphere, with a large chandelier decorated with empty Mexican beer and tequila bottles. Our server was over soon after we sat with menus and a basket of warm tortilla chips and salsa. She was very friendly and bubbly, despite appearing to be the only server working this side of the restaurant and having to run from table to table. My wife ordered the Chimichanga Con Queso while I ordered the Ground Beef Burro. The food did take a bit longer than expected to come out, but it was still hot and very good. Our server brought some more tortilla chips and salsa as well. The karaoke got louder as we were eating but not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of what I've come to expect. The sauce on my dish was noticeably watered down and lacked the flavor and richness that used to make it so memorable. It was disappointing, especially given how much I've enjoyed this meal in the past. The menu states Jalapeño pasta, they served just plain pasta. I got a coke and our waitress brought over some chips and salsa. I love that they brought 2 cups of salsa for a party of 2 so we each had our own. Things started ok, then took a not so good turn. We wee at an event in Northwest West Palm and on the way south, decided to stop into Rosalita's. My meal came out then and yes, the enchiladas were bad. Again, just nobody really cared if they were good or not was my impression. We were really excited to try this tex-mex restaurant. The decor is fun, and the restaurant is spacious. For what we thought would be fast service, we sat at the bar but service was not great. First of all it had a damp odor, secondly, the bartender, even though trying, didn't seem to be people's person at all. We were not able to get even one smile out of her. She forgot to give us drink menus, silverware, napkins, even after our appetizers were delivered. And it wasn''t busy at all. The food came out fairly quick but were not really impressed. Stated with he sampler platter that had quesadillas (very basic just tortilla and cheese), and assorted nachos. All with a lot of cheese but very little guacamole and sour cream. The Chicken and spinach enchilada dish was a good portion, enough for two or leftovers. The rice and beans were good, and the enchiladas were cooked properly but the chicken had an overpowering adobo/ flavor that made it hard to enjoy the other ingredients. Same happened with the Tex-Mex enchilada. The chili on top had a premade ketchupy taste that took away from the dish. Now, mus mention, their cornbread is made in-house and the best thing we had. A dollop of guacamole etc. definitely tiny portions. Cost up to $21. My seafood quesadillas was simply put mushy on the bottom. Under filled with less than a dollop of guacamole and sour cream. Certainly not worth $17. Service was quick, but when we declined drinks and asked for water it ground to super slow. Waited a long time to order. Waited a long time for the food and we were served without untensils So by the time we tracked the waiter down food was quite cool. Waited forever for the check. Asked 3 times. Not sure if he was hard of hearing. Well since the area we live in is seriously Mexican I'll be looking for a new place to eat. Not waiting for 3 strikes. Have been meaning to come to Rosalita's for a few years now, and we finally made it! I really loved the decor inside and all the bright colors! There was always something to look at on the walls and even a fish tank! Our server was absolutely fantastic and on her game! We ordered the guacamole to start and it was very fresh and flavorful. The whole table ordered fajitas and we all enjoyed them very much. I was particularly impressed with how tender the steak was. I also had a spicy margarita that was made just right. Overall, very happy with this spot! We may have to make it our go-to for Mexican food. Pricing was good and they have plenty of tables for all size groups! Visited on 06/09/2023 We've been coming to Rosalita's for over 20 years and hubby and I even worked there at one point. We don't live close so we don't go that often anymore. We've found it to be quite inconsistent and after this last visit I'm not sure I'll return. The food was fair, not terrible, but not worth the trip. My son's chimichanga was totally burnt, although he told me it was fine. If you look at the pictures his is much darker than the "dinner" portion. The dinner portion of the chimichanga looked the same size as the lunch, but with two portions of rice instead on one. Definitely not worth the price difference. My other son had the chimichanga con queso which he enjoyed. Hubby opted for his favorite the combo fajita quesadilla. The portions have gotten smaller, food is inconsistent, and the prices continue to increase. While there may be good servers at the restaurant, ours was friendly, but not attentive. My order was completely wrong and had to be sent back and our waters were never filled until she finally came back for our dessert order. read more

I have been here several times before where the service has been amazing. However tonight was an experience that I pray no other African American will experience. My wife and I reservation was for 6:30 pm on "give it Cinco de mayo" which we have been on two prior years without any issues, but tonigh was different. My reservation was for 6:30pm as previously said, so we checked in at 6:30 and was told that they are taking reservations first. We stood in line for about 20mins and watched people that came after us, get settled before us. So we decided to ask the hostess and to our surprise the hostess then took our name again but the immediately settled us. When the sat there for another 30mins watching several severe's one inparticually walk right by our table, trying not to make eye contact. After speaking with my wife, she stopped thia server and asked to have yhe server for our table to be notified. Well that never happened as we watched two other tables that got satted after us get served. I then observed the servere go speak with another another male Hispanic server as ro who is responsible for our table. He them proceeds to go sit down and not come to our table. At this point I told my wife let's go, and as we approached the door to leave, that veey same male server came to the front and signaled a female with family, "come now, ita open", as they by passed several other persons waiting to be seated. I asked for manager and Cisco came out to offer his apologies, however my wife amd I decided to leave. We tried to explain it to the manager I think his name was Cisco, and he was extremely rude and became belligerent. He told us if we weren't happy then we could leave. Beware the prices that you see on the Yelp site are the old prices they have increased by double guacamole is $15 now for a side. Service was good !
