The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family. They're known for hearty subs, and the Philly cheesesteak, juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a generous roll that soaked up all the flavor beautifully. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. I also tried the Pastalaya with chicken, which were flavorful with great seasoning and cooked perfectly. The variety on the menu is excellent too, everything from Italian hoagies and pasta classics to salads and soups, so there's something for everyone. Service was very friendly and efficient, and prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Would definitely recommend stopping in for a satisfying lunch or casual dinner. Ample free parking available in front and around the restaurant.

We have tried their Pastalaya made of Diavolo and alfredo sauce blended with grilled chicken, shrimp, Italian sausage, onions and green peppers. I was worried because it is their take on Jambalaya, but it was a wonderful burst of flavor. Garlic bread was a complimentary with our dish. Steven was our server for the day. Plenty of free parking in and around the restaurant. The Mad Italian first opened in Atlanta way back in 1973 and they have been going strong in Chamblee, GA ever since 1981. Their original location in Chamblee closed within the past ten years or so and they have a pretty much brand new spot literally about two doors down on Savoy Drive. Fantastic, modern restaurant facility. Unbeatable location. Top notch service. Friendly ambience that feels like home. Excellent service. And the best food you can get for the price.

Longer version: I ordered pulled pork sandwich, fries, drink and they gave me a free cookie. Tots were h-o-t and fresh. Great portion of pork on a bun and wrapped in a foil type paper. Included all 4 sauces that were packaged perfectly as to not spill. Meat was expertly seasoned, moist but not so much it made the bun a sopping mess. Met the owner Clarissa and her husband. The cook is a little slow but I'm chalking it up to a lunch time crowd. The grilled chicken salad was ordered over and over to the point that they sold out by 12:15. We'll definitely return.

This is a local family owned business. The owners were so friendly and definitely have a passion for their craft The owners care about the product being put out. I had the brisket sandwich that had so much meat that I made a 2nd sandwich out of the pork that fell out. Lol. I highly recommend putting the slaw right on top of the brisket. This is a 2 fister and 20 napkin kind of lunch. It was cold outside but sat in the sun at a picnic table and enjoyed the heck out of it.

This place gets busy and the parking lot does not accommodate that reality at all. It's at a very busy intersection with oddly placed entrances. But patrons make it work, and the quality keeps people coming regardless of how crazy the parking gets. I learned recently that Henri's is quite an Atlanta institution, and has been around for a loooong time. But I understand why. The service is great, regardless of location. The baristas actually like to talk to you even during the morning hustle. They are well-staffed and you can tell their employees like working there. Sharon is awesome, and the guy who mans the sandwich station is REALLY good at his job. The inside is kept clean, and it's a really calming environment for a coffee shop. Whoever designed their cafes did a great job, as the theme is consistent in their sister locations. I really have no complaints about the food. The meat is fresh. The bread is fresh. They make many of their bakery items at an HQ and locally distribute them to their sister locations. The pastry section is well-appointed and the display makes them very tempting. The Reuben with pastrami is *CHEF'S KISS*. Just make sure you get it on a more durable bread, because the sauce can get a little messy and make the sandwich soggy. I'm sad to report that they do not serve matcha here yet. But the chai latte and standard latte was delicious with a nice, thick layer of foam on top. They even have sugar-free syrup options for people looking to curb the sugar. They do have high-chairs for the babies. Love this place. They just do it right.

They have a great parking lot but my GPS had me going in the wrong way so I circled the block one before arriving. The interior is cozy but there are plenty of tables. I sat by the door to eat in but I sat next to where the to go orders are picked up. It was busy. I went for a very basic breakfast of a toasted everything bagel with butter and cream cheese and a coffee. The bagel was soft yet crunchy and the toppings delicious. Regular drip coffee was good too. I really want to go back soon, this is great!

Whewww, I canNOT believe America has arrived at normalizing paying $20 for basic breakfast fare…read more The world is changing and I've clearly been under a rock, as I don't normally eat breakfast. But I was out and about early in the morning and decided to stop by here right as they were opening. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. But I definitely had a moment where I had to ask myself if that was a $20 well spent. Bronx Bagel Buggy is a SMALL deli in a middle-American Atlanta neighborhood that might still think it's in NYC. Hate to say it but this is why many southerners are lowkey pissed with the massive migration of northerners down here... I got the Standard (Bacon, Egg, Cheddar) on a rosemary salt bagel. While the bagel was tasty, the inside of the sandwich was not. Limp, soggy bacon. Cheap, McDonald's style egg patty. This sandwich should be $6 at most. The bagel itself was delicious and very well done -- this is clearly where they are putting in the effort and I have no qualms with it. But next time I'd just get the bagel by itself and skip paying more for what felt like not-so-great ingredients. I also got a chai latte with oat milk. Well made, but surely nothing spectacular. Holy cow... $6+ for that, too. Oat milk is an extra $.70. I don't know whether to be disgruntled with the owner or the local/federal taxes that has places charging like this LOL. It honestly just feels excessive, especially for the area it's in (love you Chamblee but I love you especially because you're affordable and not built around pretentiousness). Service was nice and it was clean when I went in. Perhaps the lunch sandwiches are more worth it? I am all here for spending a pretty penny on food but I am lost on this one.
