Knowing that this place isn't too far, and it's on BuHi, we came to visit. There was plenty of seating when we came here and we were welcomed. As usual, we were given chips with salsa. For appetizers we also ordered guacamole. The guac wasn't your usual salty, they used the cheese to bring out the salt content. Every dish we ordered was seasoned very well. Overall, I thought Amealco was great. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here and eat. The Al pastor was great and it was flavored super well. The service was great as well.

They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but the weather was way too beautiful not to enjoy the patio. Service was quick and attentive. For lunch, I ordered the pollo lunch special, which came with Mexican rice and a generous portion of salad alongside well-seasoned, tender chicken. Everything was satisfying and well-portioned without feeling too heavy for midday. To top it off, I had a Mandarin Jarritos, which was the perfect refreshing touch. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last--I'm already looking forward to exploring more of the menu!

It's on the smaller side though, so I definitely recommend making reservations before you go. As for the food... I feel like it might be a little overhyped. Maybe I just came on an off day, but our guac and birria pizza were sooo salty. The tacos were decent, and I actually loved the salsa selection. Andddd my favorite dishes of the night were the pork belly tacos and the corn! The pork belly was cooked perfectly every bite, all that fat just melted in your mouth. So flavorful and tender. And the corn on the cob (not the one in the cup!) was soooo good. It was soft, sweet, and had the perfect amount of mayo and cheese. Not too heavy, not too dry just right. Overall, Rreals Tacos is a great spot for drinks and a fun girls' night out.

We decided to share the guac, octopus ceviche, bone marrow tacos, and barbacoa. Out of everything we actually liked the apps the most so I'd definitely recommend getting them to share. The octopus was my favorite! The bone marrow tacos were good too, but relatively standard for street tacos. Lastly the barbacoa was good, but my husband makes the best, most tender barbacoa so eating it at restaurants usually falls a little flat. Overall I'd definitely pick Oaxaca again for a night date night or a girl night. There's also free parking which is a huge plus!

The potato was so burnt and hard that it made the loudest sound when we dropped it on the table. We love this place once again, but this was insane.

Menu is extensive which could make it difficult to choose from so many dishes. Chips and salsa were brought almost immediately with a medium level of spice. The waiter asked if we wanted the habanero salsa. I took one tiny taste and it definitely was spicy! I decided to get the Enchiladas Suizas combination plate (with rice, green beans and pico de gallo). There were 2 enchiladas with shredded chicken, smothered in a sauce with lots of Mexican cheese on top. The meat was tender. My friend ordered a 1/2 order of the Nachos supreme with ground beef. The waiter and my friend said that the regular order of Nachos was huge! They weren't kidding! Our waiter was attentive, checking to make sure things were good and if we needed refills on our drinks or anything else we might need. Found out the salsa is home made, which is a good thing! The menu is extensive--almost a little overwhelming--but I already knew I was in the mood for tacos, so ordering was easy. The tacos arrived surprisingly fast, and the portion sizes were just right. My only critique is that the beef could have been seasoned a bit more to bring out additional flavor. Overall, though, the meal was satisfying, the service was quick, and the prices were very reasonable, making it a solid choice for a casual taco outing.
