I am upgrading this place to four stars. Now that I have tried most of the menu I know what they are really good at and what they're not so good at. The salads are all something that they are very good at. I have never had a bad salad here. Something else that they are very good at is their hot brown. There are a number of appetizers that I really like, especially the fried banana peppers and I ask for Ranch as well as the cocktail sauce. They always have one of my favorite draft beers -the Country Boy flagship IPA -Cliff Jumper, which I love. They also have very good Specials. It's a great neighborhood spot and I'm glad that it is so close to our house. read more

Every meat I tried here was overly salty. Grilled pork chops, salty. Fried pork chops, salty. Korean BBQ wings (special of the day), salty. The green beans were good and I did enjoy the spinach dip too. The side of fruit was a bowl of pineapple and apple chunks, which wasn't what I expected, but I guess the menu didn't lie since it was indeed a bowl of fruit. I will give kudos to them that the pork chops were moist. They were definitely brined properly, but I think they should decrease how much salt they use in the brine and add some sugar instead. read more

We live in Enclave of Lochmere about 2 minutes from this establishment. We've eaten here for as long as it's been open. Of course we were originally Suggins regulars. This place is convenient for us. The food and service are usually pretty good. The decor is comfort 101. Nothing great but no big failures either. The owners have managed through Covid to stay relevant. So easy- never a wait even when we went on Valentine's Day. Friendly service, food is good (not amazing but good). Easy local date spot or quick but sit down meal spot. I do wish they'd have better wine choices like a good dry crisp sav blanc but beer and Pinot Grigio have both been fine. read more

I have been going to the Blvd Grill since they opened and I was so excited for it to open!! In the early years the food and atmosphere for me was hard to compete with being in the neighborhood. The food, drinks, atmosphere and convenience was such a great experience. I feel like the it has not been the same since the last "chef" had to leave due to health issues. I went tonight and the food was Amazing and I hope that continues. I know that it probably will not because the "chef" is on vacation and to be honest his food is aweful! I am not the only person that thinks that but I do hope the owners will see this and make Dramatic changes. read more

We rolled in as a party of 2 at 9 o'clock on a Friday night. We were looking for something simple and close to home. We ran into a an awesome server that we knew from a previous location... score!! The food was good. I had the bean burrito. You should ask for extra sour cream and salsa and I think next time will ask for extra cheese on top... but that may just be me & my thing for cheese. :). Hubby had a fried chicken club that he said was good but came with a side of some yummy honey mustard that was "I will steal your fry and dip worthy". Great new bar/restaurant off of hays blvd. Nice play to watch a game or grab dinner. Menu is reasonably priced. I stopped in and had a cup of chili. Get it loaded you will not regret it. I also had the chicken finger platter. Wow you get a lot of tenders and you can tell they are hand breaded. read more

We usually love this place but Sunday was very disappointing. This month is the first time BLVD has been open on Sundays. We had a large group so we called ahead just to give them a heads-up. Unfortunately they only had one waitress to tend bar and wait the tables. We felt so bad for her. If you're going to be open on Sunday, please have an adequate staff. We were there an hour and got our check after drinks. We ended up going somewhere else to eat. Again, not the waitresses fault. I'd hold off on eating there Sundays until management commits to staffing that day. If it had been our first visit, I wouldn't be back. BLVD is small very comfortable restaurant with great food. The hostess and staff were very friendly. We live nearby however this was our first trip. We started off with fritters which tasted just like the Old Mill version in Pigeon Forge, very tasty! My wife had the New York Strip which she really liked. My son (14) had the salmon and shrimp which he also said was great. My daughter had chicken fingers and liked them too. My dad and I both had the open-faced roast beef. The taste was great but it was more like deli meat than what I imagined. Taste was good but I prefer pot-roast style. We'll be back again. We went back (our 3rd visit) for burgers & beer. The staff was great as usual. Started with fried banana peppers which were awesome. This time I had the BLVD burger and my wife had the spicy jalapeño burger. Both of the burgers were ok. We ordered medium and both were well done with a slight charred taste. Nothing terrible, just not what we hoped. Probably won't order burgers again. Lots of good food here... read more

Went for the firsr time for lunch with a friend. Venue is a lot more spacious when you enter. Nice ambiance. No wait to be seated, lunch time was not busy. Nicole was our server and was super friendly. We orderes queso and chips. I know the owners own Suggins, so I knew their chips would be delicious! Our salads were huge and very appealing! Neither one of us could finish them. We checked out bar area and it was also pretty spacious. Will definitely go again and try dinner options. read more

Restaurant week gem! Fried shrimp appetizer was amazing. Pork chop and fried fish were good, the French fries and brussell sprouts were the stars of the entrees. As a newbie to this area, I am thrilled to find this place! Megan the bartender is reason enough alone to check this place out. I've never met a more welcoming, genuinely friendly person behind a bar. From delicious crafted drinks to perfect takeout, she is a star. The food is super reasonably priced with great portions and it's so cozy inside you will be sad they close at 9pm (please consider extending that to 10!). My husband and I visited on Friday night 9/9/2022. We sat in the bar area and after waiting a while (mind you there were many open tables) we were approached by a server. We were not even asked if we'd like a drink, we may have been there just for cocktails. We were just told, rudely, that it would be a 45 minute wait and that they could not serve us. Apparently you only had 3 servers and with this kind of attitude you won't need any more than 3 servers. We will not be back!!!!! While our family lives in the neighborhood we had not eaten at this restaurant before. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. The perfect place to meet with friends. The menu offers something for every taste. I ordered the burger for "burger week". It was cooked perfectly and tasted good. My wife had a chicken taco that was served with chips and salsa. It's great to have a restaurant of this quality near our home. We stopped by tonight with a party of four. We tried a variety of food including the French dip and tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meal and it is priced very reasonably. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. We had Bree helping us this evening and she was very pleasant. At a recent family outing, they forgot my father-in-law's order, didn't have white milk for our little boy, served my wife the driest and blandest chicken she's ever had, and brought me a salad that desperately needed flavor. Literally one of my favorite restaurants in town! And I don't just say that because I'm within walking distance. I have been going since their doors first opened. I love the consistency of this place. The menu items are always equally delicious each time... the bartenders, hostesses and servers will know you personally after a few trips here! I can honestly sit down and they are on the spot asking me if I'll start with my usual Cab and a water. Lol. The manager is always present as well, making sure your experience is everything you need. This place is great for meeting friends on the patio (you get a county club feel being next to swimming pools and clubhouse); awesome for a date night with beautiful firepits outside when the weather gets cooler; and great when you get off work and just want a drink by yourself and some good conversation at the bar. I remained a good customer during covid shutdown and was always very pleased with my "to go" orders, and "to go" bottles of wine! BLVD doesn't disappoint in their daily specials either. I super recommend fried chicken night! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, because BLVD Grill is one of my faves. read more

We went during restaurant week. We asked the server what was on the salads since the menu didn't include any specifics. The server said the spinach and strawberry salad only came with those items, however what arrived included feta and almonds. We asked about cilantro on the Thai chicken bites. She said they didn't have it but the arrived with cilantro. We did let our server know about both those so she could give more accurate information to others. Between 4 of us we ordered all the main course options on the special menu. The salmon and steak were both raved about, the chicken - which is a regular menu item was very dry and given poor reviews. Both deserts were rated highly. Service was all that was expected. We didn't tell the server the chicken was dry, hopefully the kitchen actually knew but couldn't fix it tonight because of the special event. With any luck tomorrow will be better. read more

This restaurant is actually in an apartment complex, and as such, it is kind of off the main restaurant corridor. We actually found it by accident, but it was a happy accident. Stopped here for my first burger during Burger Week. The Onion Cheddar Melt described as a grilled beef patty topped with white cheddar cheese sauce, West Sixth Amber beer-braised onions and Amber-battered fried jalapenos. The patty was dry and over cooked, the bun was nothing special, just a cheap white bun, and all I really tasted was the cheese sauce in each bite. I wanted more onions and spiciness of the jalapenos, but my taste buds were disappointed. This was nothing special and the service was slow. Disappointed! Went to eat on Friday night. We got there at 8:12 and only had a 10 minute wait. We had a movie at 9:55 to see so we ordered pretty quickly. Our beers and appetizers came pretty quickly. We noticed we didn't get our food and looked to see it was 9:11. The server came over and aid the kitchen lost our ticket and wanted to know what we ordered. We asked how long it would take since we had to leave soon to get to the movie. She said it'd be out really quick. However, 20 minutes later we still didn't have food. We asked for the check so when our food came we wouldn't have to wait for it. Nothing had been taken off the bill. A manager never came over to the table to check on us or apologize for the kitchen losing our ticket. We paid for what we consumed and left. No food! Great restaurant in the middle of our subdivision. The food quality is great, the service is excellent and nice decor (a bit loud when crowded). Very poor service the other evening. We were not given silver or napkins, so we had to walk up to the bar for those. We were not asked if we wanted refills of water; gave up on that.
