Very cool dive. They only had two people on Sunday afternoon and a pretty good crowd. It's hard to find help these days. They warned us the service would be slow, which I greatly appreciated. We chose to stay and wait. We came because we heard they have great burgers. I liked the burger but it was not exciting to me in any way. We all truly enjoyed their hand-cut fries and Aaron was cool. I enjoyed the egg roll and sweet and sour sauce. It was different and delicious. My son had the Dynamite Dog wrapped in bacon and deep fried. He really enjoyed it. I would go back but not if I have to wait an hour for food again.

They weren't lyin when they said the burgers are the best. The burgers are big and juicy!! The fries are fresh cut and seasoned perfectly. We will be back!

This was a good burger. I went for lunch on a Monday and was pleased to see they had customers but weren't overwhelmed at all. Two folks on the grill and food and Timmy taking orders and making drinks. Friendly and attentive staff that made me feel welcome. I got the Eekie Beekie Burger with tots. The tots are tots and were what I expected. Thick burger patty with cheese, bacon, fried egg. The cheese was as melted as it could be, and dripped onto the paper in the basket when I first picked up the burger. Fine by me. Scoop it up on a tot! The burger was cooked well-done so a bit dry. I prefer medium with some juice. Bad on them for not asking, bad on me for not telling. I'll ask them to take it off the grill a little sooner next time. But I could taste all the flavors. Buttery, bacony, fried-egg goodness. I'll give the mushroom and Swiss burger a try the next time I'm in the area at lunchtime. In addition to fries, they have other interesting options for sides: chicken taquitos or an egg roll. These are frozen items deep fried. Look... it's a neighborhood bar in a strip center with friendly people trying to make a living. The decent selection of liquor sitting around, over, and under a beer tap. Bathrooms clean-ish. But it is not well kept up. Ceiling tile above the grill about to fall in, others in need of repair. Clean but unkempt. It's a dive bar with good food and nice people. Go in expecting that and maybe you'll have a good meal and a nice time. I did.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! If you haven't been, gooooo!! I want to try the other burgers, but.... The Carleone Burger is too difficult to pass up! Hand pattied burger, provolone, sandwich sized grilled pepperoni on a grilled bun.... Get out of here! So good! This was maybe my fourth or fifth time and I'm going to make it a more regular habit! Thanks Timmy Two Time's, I'll see you soon! Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, and insanely good!

We wanted a burger and thought we would give this place a chance. The burgers were large and tasty. I got a double and almost couldn't finish it!

The waitress didn't even know what an old fashioned was. They were Venus the bar looking it up. Food no much to write home about.

Good beer, service, and music. Food was just too greasy for us. Used lots of napkins to soak it up.

Definitely a dive bar vibe. The food was mediocre but it is good for the price. Burgers are pretty large.

It's Definitely a dive bar and there isn't much seating so the service was just okay.

This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.

We had reservations but ended up getting there early and just had our dinner at the bar. We both had cocktails which we enjoyed along with the deviled eggs for an appetizer. The eggs were okay--a bit spicier than I would have preferred and I would probably try a different app next time I go (there will be a next time for sure!) My shrimp and grits were great but honestly the bourbon glazed wings that my fiance had were the show stoppers. Large sized wings that were smoked perfectly with the right amount of crunch topped with a sweet but not too sweet bourbon glaze. I will definitely get those next time I go. The vibes were casual and chill--the perfect place to pre-game before a game or event or the perfect place to meet friends for a drink. I'd definitely recommend!

For food, we had a mix at the table: fish, steak, and burgers. The fish was off. The texture was strange, almost like the skin had been left on even though it wasn't, and it had a fishy taste that just wasn't right. The burger, on the other hand, was very good and easily the best value of everything we tried. If I ever go back, that's probably what I'd order. The biggest disappointment was the service. Our server clearly wasn't having a good day, didn't seem interested in us, and let our drinks sit empty long enough that we had to wave him down just to get refills. It really took away from the experience. I'd give the place another shot, but if the next visit ends up feeling like this one, it'll probably fall off my list of places to go.

Apparently the restaurant has decided to try out a new concept called "Fine Dining: Survivor Edition." The tables sat covered in dirty dishes long enough to qualify as permanent decor, and our food took so long I considered filing a missing persons report. When it finally arrived, it was cold. Not "could use a quick reheat" cold -- I mean "the marinara sauce had the temperature and emotional warmth of an iceberg" cold. The loaded potatoes were overcooked with about three toppings sprinkled on top like they were rationing cheese during wartime. The pizza? Floppy, bland, and somehow both soggy and dry at the same time. Truly impressive. And the chicken parmesan sandwich was just confusing. The bread was actually great, which made it even sadder that the chicken itself was dry and somehow NOT fried. A chicken parmesan sandwich without crispy chicken feels like someone forgot the assignment halfway through. The restaurant may be dog friendly, but after sniffing the leftovers we brought home, even the dogs seemed personally offended. This place used to be one of my favorites, which makes this even more disappointing. Hoping this was just an off night because right now the quality has left the building faster than our server did.

Hate to say it, as it's local, but I'd much rather knock back a Budweiser. And I never even drink Budweiser. Tried the Margherita pizza. I really liked the wood fired crust. Super tender with a wood fired flavor to it. But the pizza overall was quite bland. And, with tax, it was pushing twenty dollars. That's an Andrew Jackson for a pizza not much bigger than the size of my hand. They have to be pulling fifteen dollar margins on that small pizza. You're not gonna feed a family of four in here without it hurting. And that's just odd to me when we're talking pizza. I really like what they did to the place. Sharp looking inside. But the service ain't really that great, especially when you consider the prices. And it attracts a certain white collar, hipster clientele. Not that there's anything wrong with that but that's the feel. It's not a place you're going to go after you just plumbed a house. It just doesn't have that blue collar feel to it that some breweries do, and I kinda left wishing it did. But hey, what do I know? Place is popular. I hope it's successful in this expansion location. Before I went there, I asked my neighbor what he thought of it when I saw him walking back from the place with a box. He said, in two words, "It's expensive." That's it. All he told me. So, I'll leave you with that.
