1/2 Sandwich & Soup. Rueben and Soup Beans.

This is a little place 4 or 5 miles out of town, on a country road. Small town diner feel with so much in the menu that looks good, I couldn't decide what to get! I went with the 1/2 Rueben and a bowl of Soup Beans. It was a delightful lunch. Friendly staff and several diners on this Wednesday afternoon.

I can only speak about the beer cheese as I was busily doing the Beer Cheese Trail. Jamie was the super friendly owner who assured us that she was very particular about her cheese and thought we might like hers best. Well, we haven't had them all yet, but, we do love her cheese. It had a wonderful little spice flavor and was served with pretzels (great choice), Corn Chips (acted as great scoopers), and butter pickles (makes for a sweet combo with the cheese). That and an Ale8 all for just over $5! The very friendly staff and the adorable ambiance can't be beat!! Thanks Miss Jamie!!!

Love this place for lunch but get there early! Outside tables and curbside pickup are available. Pork sandwich is my favorite.

First, I'm not rating this as a 5 star restaurant, I'm rating it for what it is - fast food…read more We visited in august 2023 and dined in, the workers were helpful and nice and the food was cooked perfectly. We got the family feast with 2 chicken sandwiches, 6 pieces of chicken, 2 large sides, and 4 biscuits for $30. There were two of us and we decided to eat the sandwiches and fries for lunch and then took the chicken and additional side home for dinner. It was a great deal. I've heard rumors that Popeyes chicken sandwich is better than chick-fil-a -- and my verdict Is - I agree. That was hard to admit, but the chicken is tender and juicy and the bun is delicious. I said what I said.

BEREA KY location - the Berea location has been open only 2-3 weeks so not popping up on yelp yet…read more & never should. This is the restaurant chain that had people fist fighting over a sandwich? I would fist fight anyone who tried to make me eat more of it. If college-lined notebook paper was a food, it would be this chicken I ate today. If boredom was embodied in a food, it's this food. If air was a food, it would be this food. I had to add salt to give it any flavor at all because apparently they haven't added flavor to their menu yet. The chicken "nuggets" were basically chicken strips cut in half. How is that a nugget? The baked potatoes I had for dinner last night were smaller than the 'nuggets'. & the fries, full of promised 'special seasoning' & flavor? Lies, all lies. Unless you consider the barest hint of the cooking oil after-taste 'special seasoning'. I mean I'm kinda hoping I just have Covid or something & that's why everything tastes like licking cardboard, but my Mt. Dew (not from there) is delicious so I'm thinking that's not it. At least the fries were hot, I guess? Maybe they'll improve with time? If you like eating paper, you'll love this place. Otherwise If you're going to eat here, I would suggest bringing your own stash of seasonings, otherwise you won't get any.
