At first when I found it I was excited and showed my husband. Later I read the reviews and kinda wanted to look at other options but I didn't because I knew my husband was excited to check this place out. Being totally honest from my experience I am so glad I didn't go anywhere else. We walked in a were given a welcome by the bartender. She asked us to step at the end of the bar to check our ID's. She did take her time to look at them but not in a bad way. She was doing her job! She checked my husband's first and noticed his birthday was a week prior. She still said happy birthday. Then she seen mine and also noticed my birthday was a week prior. Also said happy birthday to me. She didn't have to acknowledge our birthdays but she did and that stood out to us. So kind of her. She asked us to wait a minute to order while she finished with someone who was there before us. She came back took our orders and both beers were good. He got Guinness and I ordered a blood orange cider which was really good considering I don't like beers besides angry orchard lol. We went upstairs played about $20 in pinball games. The $20 lasted us a while I was surprised I thought it would go quickly considering it's a dollar per game. There were several machines out of order but not knocking any stars for that it was still fun. I would go back if I'm ever in town again. My husband did say he plans to show his work buddies this place next time they're up here for a job. Didn't try the food because we ate before we went.

We needed a venue that has multiple sections as the wedding has both traditional ceremony and ethic ceremony. We had different groups working on different things at the same time. The only downside of this venue is their sound system does not match the quality and beauty of the venue. The audio of the sound system was more of a distraction and than an enhancement. On the day of the rehearsal, I had asked for the system to be checked to ensure it meets our needs. I was assured that everything was checked out well. On the day off, the mic went on/off during the whole wedding ceremony. It was so annoying and distracting. Finally, the system went out by itself, which was better. Even if there is no enhancement of the audio, at least no distraction. So, talked to the DJ about it and I was told they were informed that the wireless tends to have that issue. Instead of fixing it, they just let it be a distraction. It very disappointing experience. They assured me that we will be using a wired mic during the reception and it should be okay. NOT! The mic was so low that we could not hear the speaker. Unfortunately, there were so many wonderful messages that were shared and only a few tables close to the speakers could hear the message. I was this place up their sound system to match the elegantness of the venue. The sound system seems to downgrade their entire venue value.

This one just felt amateur, and not in a good way. There were also no concessions (not even water!), which made for a long, parched evening. So I can get my mario fix and check out some of the newer games. (Like the newest Tomb Raider on PS4!!!! Ahhh I love it!) This place is so nostalgic for me. One game I used to play a lot as a kid is Alex Kidd on sega. So much fun to play that and think of "the good 'ol days." They have happy hour everyday from 4-7. Which means the drinks (draft beer and a simple selection of liquor) are a bit cheaper and it is drink to play. If you don't want to drink it is $5 an hour for the first hour. Up to $15 for a day pass. Or $40 something for a month pass. Considering what you can get for that it is an amazing deal. They also have food. This is the only spot that made me consider not giving 5 stars, but I love this place even if they didn't have food. It was what I imagine all teenage boys eat while playing for hours in their basement. Frozen food they pop in a convection oven. And it is all nasty. However, I do watch people eating and they seem to enjoy it. Oh! This place is 18 and up after 8. They seem to be a bit easy on this rule, but just keep it in mind when you have a hankering to play some Mario at 9pm with a teenager. Lol
