My little brother and I had our first escape room experience here, in the spaceship themed escape room! And we beat it! The puzzles were intricate and interesting, and there was a TV screen inside the room for hints if we wanted them. The design and props in the escape room certainly weren't state of the art or fancy, but their subtle homemade vibe was actually charming, and didn't detract from the fun we were having!

I recently went home to visit my family and was overjoyed to find an escape room had opened in my home town! I visited with my boyfriend, sisters, and young nephew. When we arrived, 15 minutes before game time as is the policy of most escape rooms, the room wasn't ready and the door into the space was locked. We were asked to wait almost 20 minutes out in a lobby not attached to the space while the woman finished preparing our room. It felt like she had waited until we arrived to reset before the our game. From what I could see they weren't busy, so I couldn't figure out why the room wasn't close to being reset when we arrived. The woman who ran our game seemed very nervous, like she wasn't experienced in costumer service and honestly she was not friendly. She ran us quickly through rules and put us in our room. Not ten minutes had past before she started giving us clues unprompted. None of us asked for help but she started inserting her clues and continued to do so every five minutes when she saw we weren't getting things quick enough. It felt like she wanted us out as quickly as possible, which didn't make for a fun game. The production design was nothing to be really impressed about. For Bellingham's first escape room (that I'm aware of) it's awesome, but not competitive with others on the market. I live in California and the standards are much higher. For the price I paid I expect something a little more. Mostly giving this place 3 stars because of the unprofessional staff.

We approached Emily to find out some details about the educational items she had available for viewing. The lunch was buffet style- two types of lasagna, biscuits, honey butter, Caesar salad, red grapes and cookies. It was very tasty. The scenery was gorgeous and it was a nice sunny day. Unfortunately the whales and orcas were playing any and we didn't see any during the entire cruise- we did see a harbour seal when leaving port, a quick glimpse of a harbor porpoise for a split second, harbor seals on rocks from a far distance and two sea lions on a red buoy... so we got cards to book at 50% discount for a future booking with the company. We also got 10% off coupons for the fish and chips place and gift shop inside the Bellingham cruise terminal. There were two bathrooms on board. I have to say if you're looking for an intimate experience with a handful of people this is not the cruise for you. We had a Thursday cruise that had about 60 people on board and felt like there were a lot of people... I was told the boat could have up to 120 passengers in which case it would have been absolutely jammed with people. I was glad we only had the number on board that we had. All in all it was a lovely day on board- you cannot dictate nature and they held up their promise if we didn't see whales. They also had some binoculars available if you gave them collateral- I had a set for the entire cruise.

The space is large, clean, and there's plenty to keep little ones busy for a good stretch of time. That said, there were a few concerns during our visit that I think are important to mention, mainly around pricing and safety. First, admission is $20 per person, including adults. For parents who are there primarily to supervise and occasionally assist a younger child, that adds up quickly. Some of the equipment involves large mats and tubes that can be heavy for smaller kids to carry on their own, and it would be nice for parents to be able to help without needing to purchase a full-price admission for themselves. My biggest concern, however, is safety. The layout is very open, with multiple access points, and there is currently no check-in/check-out system matching children with the adults they arrived with. As it is now, someone could enter or leave with very little attention paid, and there is no wristband or stamp process that verifies that each child is leaving with their actual parent or guardian. A simple matching bracelet or stamp system would make a tremendous difference in peace of mind. While there were staff members present, several of them appeared distracted -- talking with friends or generally not paying close attention to what was happening in the play areas. They also weren't very easy to identify as staff. If parents are expected to stay off certain equipment unless they pay admission, it would really help to have clearly identifiable staff who are actively monitoring and assisting -- especially at the top of larger slides or play structures where younger kids may need help. Overall, my child enjoyed the visit, and the concept of the place is great. With stronger safety procedures at the door and more attentive, easily identifiable staff presence throughout, this could be an outstanding place for families. If you go just really keep an eye out. Hate to see anything bad happen in this place in the future

My favorite to order is one of her creamed honeys (my favorite is the Cinnamon). I also love to grab a bottle of her fabulous Honey Oxymel as a gift for my mom, who uses it to make lovely salad dressings. During our class we learned the basics of making mozzarella cheese. Repetition always helps me learn, and in this case we were able to repeat the process a couple of times which really helped me feel confident in home-made cheese making. We learned how to check the process as we worked through to make sure things were progressing as they should. Knowing the steps and how the cheese should be looking was a big help. We learned how adding honey to some cheese varieties can provide an unusual and tasty addition. It was eye-opening to see how much milk makes this much cheese (no wonder cheese can often be expensive!) During our class, we made a couple of batches of farm cheese with fruit and herbs (from the on site garden) as well as a batch of mozzarella (some in balls and some in string cheese form). These are highly interactive classes with lots of opportunities to take part in the process. If you like learning and doing, Marisa's classes are the best!

As a manager of a seasoned tech team, I'm always hunting for engaging challenges--and this is hands down the gold standard in Vancouver. We brought a group of 10, and I was so impressed by the intentional design. Usually, with a large group, you run into "too many cooks in the kitchen," but the abundance of clever, parallel challenges meant our group could split into smaller teams and stay fully engaged from start to finish. The production value is incredible; the environment is so responsive that it feels like genuine magic. What really moved us, though, was the hospitality. The Find and Seek staff went out of their way to include a subtle nod to a specific fandom as part of a farewell for someone leaving our team. Their thoughtfulness and organization made the moment work perfectly, taking the experience to a heartwarming personal level we didn't expect. They didn't just provide an escape room; they helped us create a lasting memory. 10/10!
