Named after a legendary character and set in Bham's most historic zone, this event oozes history and charm and is a great way to spend the afternoon. We especially enjoyed the chili cookoff. You pay for entry and try samples from various restaurants. At the end you vote on your fave chili and get an entire bowl of it to enjoy. I've never left hungry! Don't forget to keep an eye out for the "ladies of Fairhaven" who roam about in their beautiful and alluring period costumes to remind us all of what else used to be popular in town. I am writing this to warn other parents about my experience at Summit Adventure Park today. We had only been there for 20 minutes when I was approached by a manager who rudely demanded I stop taking photos of the facility. She was acting incredibly paranoid, accusing me of sending photos to a competitor(owner of mach1), and threatening to kick me out. It was clear she was more concerned about protecting the park's image than the safety of the children inside. The situation turned from unprofessional to dangerous when my daughter fell head-first into a large, gaping hole in the flooring near the ball pit. She began sliding into the void, and I had to physically jump and grab her legs to pull her out before she was seriously injured. When I brought this life-threatening hazard to the management's attention, they were not only dismissive but openly hostile. They had the audacity to blame my child for falling into an improperly marked hole, claiming that the minimal caution tape and cones were enough, and that fixing the structural issues was 'too hard.' After I advocated for my daughter's safety, the manager became aggressive, used profanity, and threatened to call the police to have me trespassed simply for speaking up. They forced us to leave early and refused to address the crumbling state of their facility. Do not bring your children here. The facility is physically unsafe, and the management prioritizes silence and 'image control' over the safety of the kids in their care. I have documented the hazards and the incident with photos and video, and I am reporting this to the proper authorities.

The bars on the street open their doors and patios, and...instant beer garden with no hassles or special permits. The mood is festive and carefree. Arrive early and take advantage of FREE PARKING at the Parkade, then sprint up the stairs and the market is right there. I loved the entertainment, strolling the vendors, people watching on a beautiful summer evening. You really feel a sense of community on nights like this.

However, even the online camps were amazing! My kids were engaged and laughing the whole time. My son recently had his 11th birthday party over Zoom with Majestic Adventures and afterwards he gushed more about how much fun he had, than I think he has ever done for any of his in-person parties! The story-telling talents of the MA staff are SO GOOD and we are huge fans.
