Awesome pizza! Unique choices. Crust was perfect. Customer service was spot on. Friendly, attentive and engaging. Truly happy to have people in their restaurant. Bar is beautiful. Great seating options inside and out. Will be a regular stop for us from now on.

Family dinner at the Blue House!

OMG the North Country finally has an amazing restaurant, reminiscent of high-end establishments in urban settings with a humble hometown vibe. The staff was amazing and the food was local, organic and delicious. The menu is seasonal and partners with local farms that we know and love. The converted "house" is modern, comfortable and cozy in the winter months. Can't wait to go back already, the reasonable prices will keep this restaurant busy, so reservations are a must!!!

Hidden gem in Madrid, worth the drive every time for something fancier than most places in NNY.

Most interesting food in the north country. Normally you'd have to drive to Lake Placid or Burlington for this kind of food.

Absolutely amazing, top of the line. The clam chowder was the best never had anything like it before.

I'm glad I picked this joint for my dinner during an unexpected overnight stay. I found myself…read morestaying at an inn between Canton and Potsdam, and it was probably 7 or 8 o'clock? I was hungry. So, what was good for takeout in the area? Lee's had an impressive rating and was on the near side of Potsdam, so I ordered off Lee's website (via Yelp's browser). The menu was easily navigated and had a variety of dishes. A ton of Yelpers mentioned barbecue, and others mentioned curry. I ordered the Katsu Curry Bowl and two pieces of barbecue chicken "hawaiian sushi" (I remember this description but not the name). I'm really happy I went with the Katsu Curry Bowl, and I was surprised (by the price) that two pieces of sushi filled an entire square container. I love katsu, and Lee's delivered a delicious cutlet, with a curry gravy, served over "rice only" (my selection). The portion of white rice side was very generous, and while I had some gravy leftover from the cutlet, I still didn't manage to finish the rice. The barbecue chicken *was* delicious. I found the sushi a bit structurally unsound, though. Lots of rice, with the barbecue chicken on top, all wrapped in nori paper...so yummy. But I let the nori paper grow moist while I eating the katsu curry bowl, and when I bit into this roll, the seaweed split over the barbecue chicken. So it was delicious but pretty messy. Maybe rice around the chicken, not just under it, would have held up better, though I also just really miss Japanese onigiri. Overall, great meal! Fair price. Very tasty, and if I got stuck overnight again, I'd order from Lee's Hawaiian Grill again :)

Nice little spot to grab a quick box to bring home I love the chicken katsu and the barbecue comboread more

When we got there, we were greeted and sat at the hibachi grill instantly. There was one other table, with about 5 people, when we were sat. Our waitress was over within a couple minutes to take our food and drink orders. Within a couple minutes of ordering, my wife and I were brought a ginger salad and miso soup. The ginger salad was your typical ginger salad with crunchy vegetables and bright dressing. The miso soup was some of the most flavorful miso soup I have ever had, and it made me want a second bowl seeing it was a colder day. To start I ordered a spicy maki combo sushi, which consisted of spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and spicy salmon rolls. The sushi came out relatively fast, and was very presentable. All of the sushi tasted fresh, and did not have that fishy taste that I have had with getting these rolls at other restaurants. After a little while, our hibachi chef came to our table, greeted us, and had us move to the seats in front of the grill, seeing we were the only two at the table. He started off by making sure he had the correct orders for us, and then lit the grill on fire, which had a very nice warmth to it. The chef did a great job putting on a show for us, while cooking our food! Our chef also had some good throws, when myself and my wife both caught pieces of broccoli in our mouths. The chef was also funny and squirted water into both of our mouths, from a bottle that had a top that looked like a child was peeing the liquid out . The chef made sure to tell us everything he was doing while he cooked our food. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice, vegetables, and 2 shrimp. The vegetables had a great cook on them, with that distinct teriyaki flavor. The steak and chicken were both cooked well. I was gladly surprised the chicken didn't have that dry/squeaky texture it some times can. The rice was okay, it had good flavor but seemed slightly over done. The 2 pieces of shrimp were good but nothing to write home about. Overall, we had a great time. Our hibachi chef was amazing, and my wife and I will be back in the future.

The chefs are talented and very entertaining. The place is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The prices are very reasonable. Go with a group of friends. you will be glad you did. By the way, You will enjoy the grill even if you don't like Oriental food.
