The bbq chicken bowl was delicious! The sauce was good and sweet. The dish came with broccoli carrots , sticky rice and a good portion of grilled chickens. It was a great lunch on valentines day. This will be my fave asian restaurant from now on

Great service and great prices. I got honeydew boba tea and the fried mahi mahi which came with rice and mac. Fish was a bit dry, but the boba tea made up for it.

The food is very good. I used to eat there at least once a week when I worked. I don't eat there as much anymore because I am retired.

Delicious, inexpensive and authentic tasting food. Try the Musubi! The katsu is outstanding as well as the double sautéed pork.

I believe this is the old tapas bar that was a Spanish place for a bit, though I could be mistaken on the Spanish place. It's a small little space but it's nice in there. When I came in to place an order there was a group of 6 or so people taking their time to pay their bills. The server looked at me, smiled and mouthed sorry to me. We both smiled and after everybody paid let them know that there was nothing to apologize for. After going over the menu a couple of times there was a combo with 3 proteins to choose and 2 sides. I opted for this to try a few things. I ended up getting rice, macaroni, chicken katsu, Hawaiian beef, and white fish. I paid up and in about 10 minutes, they had me packed and ready to go. The bag was pretty hefty and I made my way home. I popped it open and it looked decent. It came with 3 sauces as well which was nice. It reminded me of something I'd get takeout from a place with counter service but I wish I knew the white fish was fried or I would have opted for something else to avoid having 2 fried items. First bite, the chicken katsu was OK. I decided to try the white fish and it wasn't my favourite. I tried it with the yellow sauce and it was a bit better. I tried a bit of the macaroni and kind of bland. Rice was a bit overcooked as well. I made my way back to the beef as that was recommended to be very tender. It was...OK. All in all a bunch of OK items. It kind of reminded me of something that'd be in the food counter behind a buffet counter. Unsure I liked anything enough to really want to come back but then I think I saw loco moco as well so may eventually make my way back. Super friendly staff and a really cool atmosphere.

Tried the two meat plate, the Mahi-Mahi was excellent and the fried chicken also as for the side it needs improvement. Macaroni salad was very bland missing spice and over cooked, a big ball of sticky rice would also need some improvement.

If you're a fan of sushi, you'll probably end up being a fan of this as well. I went with some friends and we each picked up our own bowls. They're fairly generous with their servings, but I do warn that they are slightly on the more expensive side. They have vegan and gluten free options, so it's a great alternative for everyone. If you're looking for a healthier option this new years, I highly suggest coming by Paradise Poke! :)

They worked through the line quite quickly but there's not a lot of room to sit for to their seats being right where the line is with the exception of those at the window. For the price of the poke bowl (I did the make your own), it lacked protein and they lacked generosity when it came to toppings. The presentation was nice but I felt very limited in the amount of toppings I could have in my bowl as well as they were stingy. For example, I wanted daikon & she counted 4 pieces for my bowl! Lots of rice so it'll fill you up. Unsure whether I'll come back since it was very delicious but slightly over priced..

I forgot how dangerous build-your-own is :'(…read more I've been wanting to try this Paradise Poké for so long! When its first location opened on Bank, I'd always walk past but they'd be sold out. I finally got to try this location after seeing them on UberEats and wow, did I ever pay for it haha I got the build-your-own poké (BYOP) bowl, which already starts at $21.95 before taxes, fees, and tip. I got it with sushi rice, double ahi tuna (an extra $6.75), all the mix-ins (cucumber, green onion, sweet onion, and sesame seeds), miso ginger and coco-wasabi cream sauces, purple cabbage, edamame, radish, pickled daikon, and crispy shallots. It was so loaded and I finished everything but the rice, but in hindsight I don't know if I really needed the double tuna. They were nice, big, meaty chunks, but I do wish they were marinated instead of just plain ahi tuna. The rice was good and warm when it came, but I really didn't need that much of it. The veggies were all great and fresh. The pickled daikon was surprisingly sweeter and not as sour as I imagined it would be. The crispy shallots were a nice addition, and even though I had two other onions in my bowl, I didn't feel like the onion flavour was overpowering. The sauces were good but not as flavourful as I expected or would've liked. I would've loved to taste the wasabi a bit more, but it was very, very mild and not at all spicy, in my opinion. I didn't quite taste the miso, either. Loved the option to customize, they definitely use quality ingredients and have don't skimp on the portions, and I was full and satisfied. I don't think it was quite worth the price I paid, but I'm glad I tried it! It ended up being a comparable price to the prime rib I actually thought I ordered (watch out for those multiple UberEats carts haha).. I'm sure they were very confused with the "medium rare and horseradish on the side please" note on the order LOL Next time it would make much more sense to go in person to avoid all the extra fees on third-party delivery services.

All the…read moreingredients are fresh and your bowl is built right in front of you similar to Subway / Harvey's. The bowl & cutlery are all compostable too! My only two quips vs this business is: 1. Charging $20 for a bowl of sushi/brown rice with an asian fusion mix of fixings is very pricey, compare this to a $9 rotisserie chicken, or a $13 medium pizza, or a $17 order of perogies? $20 is very expensive! 2. This business also lacks restroom facilities. There's a simple counter and chairs if you want to dine-in, but then you're on your own to go elsewhere if you need to the restrooms. I will definitely be a regular customer at this business, but it'll be no more than once every other week, only because I can't afford to go more often!
