I would characterize The Shed as a local bar. On a recent visit, it seemed everyone knew each other. Patrons were friendly, and I got to know many, including the owner, Mike. Mike also wields a spatula in the kitchen. On a recommendation, I tried a "smashburger". Served on a brioche bun, it was excellent. Perfectly cooked w a nice charbroiled flavor. The bun did not fall apart, an important consideration when inhaling a burger. Fries were also excellent. Barmaid Mimi handled the crowd well. And there was a pretty decent crowd for a Tuesday night. Went here last night with a group of friends whilst waiting for our time to bowl at the Spare Time…read morenearby, and to get food to eat. I'm glad I made a stop here, as I had a great experience. It's a nice little sports bar, and it's nice, clean and full of all kinds of sports decor, such as team flags, newspaper clippings and photos, etc., if you like sports like baseball, soccer/football, etc., this will catch your eye. Our waitress, Alissa, was very friendly and a wonderful server who we tipped very well. The food is typical bar food, but the food that I did get, mozzarella sticks, burger, fries, and brownie sundae, was cooked well and tasted great, and I really liked how the Bac-O Jammin' Smash Burger had onion rings in it, I've never had onion rings in a burger before and I'm glad I got to try one like that. I also got a tall glass of Angry Orchard cider and it also was very good and tasted stronger than when I get it in cans or bottles. If you have any friends that are sports fans, or are looking for a nice, simple bar to basically, eat, drink, and be merry, or you want to have a nice dinner after bowling a few games, come here. Tried again, better but still lacking…read more Been a while since I've been to this location. Decided to give them another try and see if things have improved. Place was dead when I wandered in. Just myself and a couple other patrons at far sides of the place. Bartender was playing waitress as well. Very nice but very casual. Opted for their fruit juice mocktail and the jammin burger with loaded fries. Food and drink came out quick, so I took my pics and dug in. The mocktail was pretty much orange and pineapple juice with a fruit garnish. It was fine for what you got, and the price was reasonable at 4 bucks. Nothing special, but something to sip on if you're with company. The burger was executed flawlessly. Cooked well, not seasoned but done so with intention. The buttered bun and jam were salty to begin with, so they chose to unseason the burger, relying on the condiments to balance the dish out. The chef has skill, and you can tell it by their preparation. The trouble was the quality of the ingredients. The burger is straight ground meat, pressed to a patty and frozen. The chef did what they could to gussy up the burger, but was working with ingredients they could not control. When they had control in the ingredients and preparation, they put in care. The actual burger patty was very much the biggest detriment to the dish. The fries were good, cheap cheese and bagged fries but ample amounts of toppings and cooked perfectly. Good, but there's evidence that there could be something better. As a chain location tied to a bowling alley, it's perfectly fine pub bites. The servers are nice, but I feel that the chef is constrained. If given the opportunity, the chef could produce some magic on the plates. but they are stuck to the playbook, the source ingredients and the margins they need to stay in. That cheapens the food to cookie cutter molds and is a crying shame. The foods acceptable, the staff is good, and the venue is clean. One day I hope they can shed the chain and let the chef take the wheel. till then though, it's okay

I saw on their social page that Redstone has really stepped up their game of late. Think a new menu, lower prices, a super simplified Happy Hour (Every menu item & drink is $3 OFF), Weekly Specials, a lunch menu, and special events Trivia Tuesdays, Game Night Thursdays, and Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays. Our server Josh was great, super friendly and helpful. With the Happy Hour discount, we bought 2 Mich Lights for $3 a pop, a BLT with chips for $13. And a chicken quesadilla for $13. The BLT had quite a bit of bacon, and likewise, the quesadilla had quite a bit of chicken. We were very happy with our Happy Hour experience. Nice job reinventing yourself, Redstone.

I remember they have really good food here. Chef Stash presiding! I see a list of specials too. For my first drink, I'm having a Manhattan. A Manhattan is a cocktail made with Whistlepig whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters. While rye is the traditional whiskey of choice, other commonly used whiskies include Canadian whisky, bourbon, blended whiskey, and Tennessee whiskey. The cocktail is usually stirred with ice then strained into a chilled cocktail glass and garnished traditionally with a maraschino cherry. A Manhattan may also be served in a champagne coupe or on the rocks in a lowball glass. This tastes perfect! It's well balanced, chilled and garnished with a couple red cherries. Not bad for a place that doesn't sell a lot of these! The menu is physically pretty large too. The Happy Hour is from 3-7 Sunday through Thursday. The only item (off of the HH hour) I'm having is the House Salad made with salad greens, tomato, cucumber, croutons and red onions with balsamic dressing. This is great! The veggies are very fresh! I like the dressing! For my next item, I'm having the Lemon Chicken soup. I've never had chicken soup with lemon before! Oh my! That came out like in 30 seconds! Look at this! It comes with crackers too! This is delicious! I like the unique taste! I can taste the lemon for sure! For my next item, I'm having a Side Salad with vinaigrette dressing. It is made with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers and shredded cheese. I like the ability to mix the oil and vinaigrette myself. The portion size is big! This is good! Next up I'm trying their chili (onions but no cheese). Chili con carne is a spicy, hearty stew made with chili peppers, meat (usually beef), tomatoes, and often beans. Chili is made a lot of ways. It also comes with some optional crackers. This is great! Lots of beef here! For my next drink, I'm having a Godfather. The Godfather is a duo mixed drink made of Scotch whisky (especially smoky Scotch) and Amaretto. We are substituting Disarrono today. Typically, the drink is served with ice in an old fashioned glass. This tastes good enough! Great job! For my entree, I'm having the Creamy Chicken Marsala made with grilled chicken, mushrooms, onions, creamy Marsala sauce and penne pasta. I usually eat this with rice but pasta will do! I want it as spicy as possible! Chicken marsala is a dish of chicken escalopes in a Marsala wine sauce. It is a variation of traditional Italian scaloppina dishes, of which there are many varieties throughout Italy. The dish dates to the 19th century, when it may have originated with English families who lived in western Sicily, where Marsala wine is produced. Lexus see how Chef Stash does! This looks pretty! Wow! It's hot, spicy snd delicious! This guy is good! For dessert, I'm having the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. A classic pineapple upside-down cake features caramelized brown sugar, pineapple rings, and maraschino cherries baked at the bottom of the pan and inverted after baking. The food.... hubby had the fresh beet salad with added steak on the side and I had the little gem salad with added crispy chicken. Presentation on the salads were excellent, ingredients were fresh and everything tasted delicious. I could tell that the chicken was house breaded, not from frozen which is a huge plus. It was drizzling and the staff was super accommodating- arranging seating and umbrellas for protection from the rain. We ordered fish tacos, fish n chips, nachos, and fried calamari. Everything was tasty and cooked crispy, exactly how it should be. We also ordered coffees, mojitos, and chocolate peanut butter pies for dessert. WOW! It was all so good we forgot to take pictures. They do host live music, so be sure to check their schedule for bands. All in all, it was a relaxing and wonderful experience. Will be back again!

The lake felt amazing was enjoyable not to many people were there on Monday , so we had plenty of relaxing time at the lake . The environment was so cool we went hiking around the neighborhood and every turn was something different to see. I enjoyed looking at what some of the owners done with the trailer home or RV's . Local dive bar with decent bites…read more Drove by this place and the promise of taco Tuesday. Decided to drop in randomly and see if was worth the trek. Outside is pretty plain, inside is very much a bar. Dark, lots of political memorabilia, a single u bar top with a smattering of tables and chairs. Bartender was friendly, took my order and chatted with the other guests. Lots of locals were there, enjoying a beer while chatting with their friends. Most ordered the pizza, I opted for a burger with curly fries. Pizzas were small but topping laden, so I can see the appeal. My burger was not bad, I got onions and mushrooms on mine but it was only a sprinkle of both. Burger was cooked well, bun toasted and juicy patty. Curly fries were crispy and ranch was a reasonable brand. It was frozen, but they are not trying to be gourmand eats. It's a decent quality frozen patty, decent bun, and cooked well enough. Price was about 17 bucks with all the add ons. Not bad but not worth the surcharges. It's a place to get a bite to eat if you need a bite. It's not the food that brings you here, it's the company you bring and the memories you forge. In which case, this place is good enough for that functional meal.
