Roasted Butternut Bruschetta & Warm Octopus Salad and Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Roasted Butternut Bruschetta & Warm Octopus Salad and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. A nice hotel lounge and restaurant very spacious. Very busy when they have the conferences so everybody's hanging out and just enjoying themselves

L Bar is your average hotel bar, but they do have a nice bar menu. I had the french dip and it was excellent. They feature alot of local brews and spirits and the service was very good.

Super friendly staff. Drinks never disappoint. Friendly crowd, inviting and not intimidating. Great place to socialize or just come stick to yourself and grab a bite and a drink. Definitely will return. Especially for the calamari and burgers! P.s. Natalie makes the best old fashion I've had across the nation.

I was in the area for a conference, and L Bar was more or less the go-to bar for the weekend. Overall, I had a great experience at L Bar - no true complaints from me. The drinks were strong, and the two women bartenders were very nice and quite fun. I cannot comment about their fancier cocktails, because I'm more of a gin and soda kind of guy. That said, everyone in my company did not seem to have any issues about their beverages. The prices are a bit on the upper range, but one should expect that when going to a hotel bar.

I'll keep this short and sweet because no one likes a complainer - the service was subpar. They never came to greet me and when they finally noticed me sitting at a table, she walked over and just said "are you ready". LOL WHAT? Oh hey I'm great thanks for asking. Second, the food is not great either. The pimento cheese dip is not good at all, nothing like a pimento dip I've ever had. The shallots were not even close to caramelized! The only reason L Bar gets 2 stars is because of their convenient location - inside the Marriott hotel connected to the convention center!

I am SO glad i did because this was hands down one of the best meals ive eaten in years. My girlfriend is pescatarian so we opted to have all vegan/vegetarian options and this omnivore did not miss meat at all. My favorite dish by far was the watermelon crudo which, to me, defied all space and time. The watermelon looked, felt, and tasted like a beautiful tuna. The flavours had a Vietnamese flair to them, including a chili crisp and fresh mint, and i was using the delicious and crispy fries to sop up the rest of the sauce. Everything we ate was incredible, flavourful, and beautiful to look at. The atmosphere was romantic and dreamy, a huge change from the pug filled cozy pub that it used to be as the corner pug. Service was lovely and they surprised us by bringing us champagne and a sweet note at the end. It was absolutely amazing and we felt so taken care of. I will be thinking of this place for a long time and cant wait to go back!

We returned for Father's Day and we were seated immediately without a reservation, though I think we just got lucky so I don't recommend this. It was all a hit, and when a 3.5-year-old and a 22-month-old are enjoying your food without any coaxing or help, you know it's fabulous! My husband got some cocktail and I got the phony Negroni mocktail. Service was great and the atmosphere is chic without being uptight or snobby at all. We all left really happy. I still dream about that sandwich. I'd love to go back and try other things on the menu. I'm sure they knock everything out of the park. I am hoping Le Mazet will be our special occasion restaurant.

Definitely need a reservation to get in on the weekend fyi! When we arrived we were seated at a beautiful booth. The interior is gorgeous here. Our server was fantastic I wish I remembered his name! He suggested some great items. We started with their steak frites and I cannot rave more about it! First this plate is definitely shareable. Among myself, my husband and young toddler we destroyed this. My daughter was eating so much of this steak and so were we! It was sooo tender and we loved the gravy on top. The fries were amazing and when they were drenched in that gravy it was chefs kiss! What really brought it all the together was the salad paired with it- it was light and refreshing and the dressing was so good! For dessert our server suggested the chocolate custard so we got that and a berry handpie. We ate both and kept saying "oh my god" with each bite. My daughter especially loved the chocolate custard but my husband and I loved both equally! We immediately said after our meal how we have to come back. We cannot wait to try other menu items and their cocktails next time. We are huge fans and will definitely be back!!

This hidden gem is located on Market Street in Hartford right beside the 960 Main St building. It's a selfie museum and a restaurant all in one. The restaurant menu is small but there are a wide variety of options to choose from. I came for Christmas dinner with friends who were all dining for the first time. I ordered the New York strip with candied yams and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a little bland but was still edible. It was my first time trying candied yams and it was so rich, sweet, and delicious. I had my steak well done and it was so juicy. The serving size was also pretty decent as I had leftovers for the next day. For my drink, I had the soho punch which was very tasty and fruity. To be able to take pictures I believe you have to pay for that part separately, however, based on the numbers in our party, they told us we could take pics and you know the model I am, I went around and took photos at nearly all the photo booths. Each photo station has a ring camera with a ring light which makes it perfect for taking pictures especially if you do not have anyone to take your pictures. All the others in my party also enjoyed their meals. They had jerk chicken alfredo, fried whiting fish, salmon alfredo, Buffalo chicken wings, burgers and so much more. They also do paint and aip and will be hosting a New Year's Eve brunch if you are interested.

I informed you that because my dog is a service animal, she is permitted under ADA to accompany me in all public places. Charlie Brown, who was also at the door, then asked me the appropriate questions allowed under ADA, and after I responded, allowed me to enter the establishment with my service dog. However, after maybe 30 minutes, Mr. Brown approached me and asked that I leave the premises and return without my service dog. I declined this request since my service dog was not misbehaving in any way, barking incessantly or at all, and not being disruptive to any other patrons. After about another 30 minutes, Mr. Drouin approached me with Mr. Brown and demanded that I leave because according to him my dog was too young to be a service animal and therefore must be in training, and I was being disruptive by talking to patrons who asked me about my dog. I informed Mr. Drouin he was incorrect, that my service dog is fully trained to provide the service for which she is required, and the law does not prohibit me from interacting with patrons who approach me about my dog. He and Mr. Brown still demanded that I leave. I was with a group of five other people who all witnessed all of these exchanges. We all departed the establishment at that time. I have filed an official complaint #758150-TWD with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division for this violation of 28 CFR Sec. 36.302(c). This violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act can result in civil penalties up to $75,000 for a first offense and $150,000 for a subsequent offense. Despite me informing these ignorant and insolent employees of this, they still demanded that I leave. I will also be filing a complaint with the State of Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities for this violation of CT General Statutes Sec. 46a-44 & 46a-64, which is a class C misdemeanor, which Mr. Drouin and Mr. Brown will be individually charged. I will also be contacting Mr. James Verano, the listed Principal for Pig's Eye Pub, and Mr. William (Bill) Morrissey, the listed Managing Member regarding these federal and state violations. I will also have my personal attorney contact Reid and Riege, PC, the listed agent for Pig's Eye Pub. Being denied service while accompanied by a service animal is illegal, humiliating, and emotionally draining experience that no one should have to endure. What these imbecilic employees did was not only illegal but morally reprehensible.
