A five star review is not something I do lightly, but this place was perfection.
Set in a quaint little village, walking in from the cold to be greeted so warmly by the staff was a great start. It was cozy, but not pushed for space.
The menu was written on a black board, perhaps a little off putting at first but with such a range of choice I was very pleased.
Now for the food. Incredible. I opted for a starter of calamari followed by a fish fillet (I really cannot remember what one), which was absolutely beautiful, perfectly done with a side of vegetables, at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend Bistro Gourmand above anywhere else I have visited, made a wonderful night out. read more
