You have the option to select cat fish or rock fish (selected the rock). I also got Cajun boiled that comes with potato, shrimp, corn. I included three orders of the crawfish in the boil. Out of all the crawfish three were fresh. Highly disappointed. The flavor We got was the shack medium spice but it was flavorless. Our visiting family received their order correct. (Thankfully) My oldest daughter had missing poppers. While my order and my youngest daughter's order never arrived. Eventually, we asked for an update and the guy was clueless to what we were talking about. We had to explain multiple times that we never received any of the items on our receipt. And at this point, we wanted a full refund, including the tip that we provided prior to the service. The gentleman eventually went back to the kitchen to verify. I overheard them speaking in Spanish and one of them saying you "mean the food that's been sitting there". They didn't realize I spoke Spanish. I didn't receive an apology from the guy who brought the food. Again, we still had missing items after waiting all this time. I asked the gentleman for my Greek salad and the sauce. (I would like include that this has happen in previous visits) The guy was taking forever to bring out the items. I tried getting someone else's attention, but I was ignored. When I started to speak in Spanish the man washing dishes looked my way. But was not helpful, the man eventually came out with the salad and the sauce. At this point, our party who received their meals had finished and the restaurant was getting ready to close. I just took the food and left with my party without enjoying a hot meal. My wife saw they had black bean soup and a pork special, so we decided to stay and were seated. Since our last visit about a year ago, they've made some changes. The seating has been updated, with a second bar added along with high-top tables and booths. The space looks very nice. Our server came over, took our drink order, and we asked for a bowl of the black bean soup. When he returned, my wife asked how the pork special was, and he said it was very good, so she ordered it. I ordered the cod fish and chips. When the food came out, everything looked good at first. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were very greasy -- it seemed like the fries were placed on the plate to soak up the grease from the fish. My wife's pork dish was worse. She was given two slices with connective tissue running through them that were so tough she couldn't even get a fork into them. The other piece was also extremely tough and difficult to cut, and the gravy had no flavor. When our server finally came back to check on us, my wife showed him the pork. His response was simply that he would let the manager know and take it off the bill. There was no offer to replace the dish or bring her something else to eat. After that, we never saw him again. My wife eventually asked another server for tea, which a different server brought. Later, another server came by to see if we were finished. I asked how much the eggnog was, and she quoted the price for a bottle, said I just want a glass, she said I'll get you a menu I explained to another waitress I just wanted a glass. Eventually, I got it -- though I asked for it without ice, and it still came with ice. At that point, I just drank it. The best thing was the bean soup. Overall, this was not a good meal and honestly the worst experience we've had in the 10+ years we've been coming here. Between the food quality and the lack of follow-up from our server, it was very disappointing. It will be quite a while before we return.

We have been served by repeat waiters/waitresses as well as the owner of the place many times over our visits. And if you need something you can always call over a nearby waiter. The food is also good. We recommend upgrading to the onion rings which may be the best we've ever had. We also love the dry rub wings which always come out hot and fresh. The slammin salmon and the aloha chicken are our absolute go tos and they are always delicious. You can even ask for them on Brioche or as a wrap.
