a burger and a salad
Alice W.

Neat restaurant with outdoor seating. Food was good... Friends got the swiss burger and came with a great salad. Another got the beef dip... could have had more dip sauce but said was good. I got the special... Portabello Mushrooms and Zucchini Pasta... it was ok... Service was a bit slow. The booths was spaced out with booth in the middle closed... due to Covid. All in all... we meet up to catch up and grab some food and this place delivered just that. Price is a bit on the high side for the dishes except the pasta.

Where's the other half of my sandwich?

Great food and nice environment. Loved the perch. The molten cheese sticks are insanely tasty.

Review Highlights - The Binbrook Grill

First time, my Sweetheart enjoyed the beef stroganoff and I had the fried goat cheese salad.

We stopped by this restaurant after an event and had a really good experience. The employees were…read morereally nice and let us dine in even though it was late and borderline past closing hours. The restaurant is really cute with amazing artwork and decor to admire. THE FOOD: Lentil soup: - The lentil soup was amazing. It was bursting with flavour and one of the best lentil soups I have had in a long time. It was both gluten and dairy free. Falafel - The falafel was the best falafel I have ever had! It was crispy and served with hummus. I really like how the falafels were heart shaped. The presentation was really nice and I would come back to enjoy these. Chicken Platter: My fiancé ordered the chicken platter and he really enjoyed it. The platter comes with salad and hummus. He found the chicken super tender and the salad was delicious. Both of us had hummus and found it robbed mediocre. Halava: - The halava was super sweet and made with pistachio. It tasted delicious and it was the perfect way to end our meal. Would We Return? Absolutely!

Upon entering Tomah I was immediately greeted by the young gentleman behind the counter. I was free to sit where I pleased. He immediately brought water and a cup of tea complimentary. The tea was amazing, full of flavor and sweet. I only ordered Syrian Shwarma and requested an additional drizzle of pomergranate syrup and an order of Muttabal and asked if that was enough and should I order more. The waiter, insisted I try the kibbeh and would bring me one. The food came out promptly, first the muttabal which I can say might be better than when my Syrian mother in law makes it! The Shwarma came out and that was amazing, it was juicy and the spices and dressings where perfect. To my surprise the waiter brought out the lentil soup, kibbeh and falafel to try. The were delectable to say the least. The ambiance during the lunchtime was quiet, however after some time Arabic music was put on, and wasn't too loud, but just right as background noise to enjoy while you eat. The cushions were a Syrian style of sitting with arm rests almost like pillows. I will be back, and I will recommend anyone to come here and get a "Taste of Syria"!

We have been regular customers here for a long time and have always had a pleasant experience, but…read moreour most recent visit was incredibly disappointing due the owner's behavior. Our server was great, but unfortunately, my pasta was undercooked (not al dente). When I pointed it out, the server was apologetic and offered to remake it, I declined as l didn't want to eat alone, so l shared my husband pizza. (which was very good). The real issue began with the bill. We were charged for the uneaten meal, and when we questioned it, the server said he would have to speak to the manager. The owner stormed over to our table. He was defensive, insisting he'd served 8 other portions that night without issues. When we mentioned we were regulars and l told him the pizza was good, he said l know. Then he actually crumpled up the bill in front of us and walked away. He came back with a new bill and told us to "try other restaurants in Hamilton that would suit us if we just wanted to sample food" I was shocked by this response and asked him about customer service. His response was " I'm the owner of the restaurant, I can do what I want". We were upset by the lack of basic customer service. We paid our bill and tipped our server (who did as fine job), but we won't be returning to a place where the owner treats loyal guests with such hostility.

Very disappointed Can tell they're trying but have YOU…read moretasted those over the top pizzas??? Yuck taste, focus! What's all that stuff on my pizza, fried bread? fried??? Did you even have a tasting with the staff on this shit?? what you make guys with all that expensive oven!!! Go there once and your customer doesn't go again. And that bartender should be sent back to barber college. Mocktails = chemicals and the insipid whiskey sour straight from hell. Drink up!
