I got lucky and was able to book 3 bikes on the same day, just 2 hours before we wanted to go on a bike ride. I received a confirmation email and we were all set! When we arrived at Clearwater Beach Scooter and Bike Rentals the gentleman who took care of us was so friendly and helpful. It was only a matter of 5-10 minutes at most and we were off on our bike ride. The bikes themselves looked great and handled nicely as well. 100% recommend!

I was in town and I wanted to ride my bike because there are great ocean views on Courtney Campbell Causeway and I also realized Pinellas trail is close by also. My back tire was flat on my bicycle. So I found Kafe Racer on Google and walked in there in the worst mood honestly. They fixed my tire quickly because I asked him to. In the worst mood I told the gentleman "I came out here to ride my bike on this beautiful day (cool day for Florida) and can you fix my tire quickly. I really just want to ride my bike.". He fixed my bike quickly and was so polite. I was so thankful but I was still in a sinky mood. I felt so much better after my bike ride which would not have been so lovely if it wasn't for this shop. Great vibe. Great location. Friendly. Good price. When I went to pay there was an option to tip..I didn't tip. So I am giving a great review (they deserve it). I am sure that some people ask to tip them and maybe that's why that was on there. Everything was phenomenal about this shop minus the tip question at checkout. Still 5/5 easy.

Nonetheless it was a good drink and I'm sure this would be my 5 star hangout if I lived closer. I enjoyed the visit with the barista once we were both "in the same room".

The bike was in the shop for less than an hour, yet I was charged $80 just for the labor. That price feels excessive for such a straightforward repair. I prefer supporting local shops, but it's hard to justify coming back after this. The owner should take a closer look at their pricing because this kind of experience drives loyal customers away.

Third - able to fix it right then! I also loved that they had a lot of bicycle merchandise, including riding clothing and hats. After having a rear flat tire on my bicycle, and having a local shop unable to fix the problem, I brought my bike here. The worker put it up on rack, showed me how the new tape I just paid for at the other shop was put on incorrectly, AND showed me that my tire had see through patches on it, and clearly needed to be replaced. My tape, tire and tube were replaced, the cost was reasonable, and I was in and out of the shop in under half an hour. This is my new bike repair shop.
