Every time I visit here, the staff makes me feel like I belong. Even if I ask stupid questions…read more Awesome staff! Awesome prices! Awesome service! By far, the best shop in Pinellas County.

I went in here while on vacation because I didn't want to check a skateboard on the plane. This is…read moremy favorite skate shop in the area, too. I might like the Tarpon one a little better if for no other reason than the selection. I ended up having to go to Tarpon anyways to get the bushings I wanted. All good. Dude was helpful but not annoying like they can be at mall shops. He kept me from making a mistake with my set up too. I almost out 169s on my card, but the 159s were the right ones. Independent Hollows, son! I never owned a Santa Cruz board in the old days, but my brother loved em. I had been sweating the Dressen Rose Cross for a minute, so I grabbed one finally! They had Spitfires 80HD Chargers too, which I think are discontinued by the manufacturer. That's a bummer because these wheels are dope. I usually use OG Reed's bearings, but dude convinced me to try Super Red's. No regrets on that decision, either. It was a bit more, but I really dig the bearings they feel crazy fast & smooth. Might be the wheels too since I've been riding 99s for a while prior to setting this up. My sister in law got my brother some shoes and dude gave us a bunch of stickers. I promised I'd stick em on every cop car I saw while on vacation. Good looking out, Westside. I'll see y'all again next time.

This is the local go to bike shop. They will go out of their way to help with customer service…read more They can fix any bike with any problem. They have a nice assortment of bikes as well as can order bikes for you. They are light in clothing and accessories for women on the floor yet they will order whatever you need. They also have a nice assortment of bike snacks, energy bars and drinks for your rides. Before COVID they used to have group rides a few times a week. Those are temporary suspended yet once they start those up again highly recommend them. Great community of bike friends come to this store. They have a new mechanic, Dino. He is fantastic. I showed up with my bike on the back of my car hanging from the bike rack. My bike had a flat tire. Dino came out to my car, popped off the tire. Replaced the tub & quickly put the tire back on my bike, filled it up with air then checked the other tire filling it up with air. I was in/out in 15 mins. Now that was an example of outstanding customer service and being efficient! These little things keep me coming back.

This is a really fantastic bike shop, or LBS (local bike shop) now that I'm learning the lingo…read more I ended up at their Pasadena location recently as it's close to home. I haven't cycled since I was a kid, but after getting fed up with running injuries, decided perhaps a return to cycling would be a better option for me. The staff at the other location were extremely helpful and spent a long time talking to me about what I was looking to do, the pros and cons of various models and options, and then made some recommendations. They called over to this store to ensure what the computer was showing as in stock was actually there so I wouldn't waste my time driving, and then I was on my way to try out some bikes as I required a frame size that wasn't on the floor at the other location. Same as I had experienced at their other store, the staff at this location were very helpful and all about getting me into the right bike for me, and not getting me up to a certain price point. The models I had been looking at online, and expected to pay for, ended up being more than what I needed, and they made sure I knew that there'd be no advantage to me going up to that level. I did some test rides, and went home to think on it with zero pressure from them. Came back the next day, ended up with a bike for me, one for my wife, some accessories, and an awesome rapid-release/attach Topeak rack and child seat for both bikes that my wife and I can easily snap the child seat on and off of as needed. There was no charge to install any of the accessories. When I came back a day later to pick everything up after they had installed the options, turns out my vehicle was not quite large enough to transport both bikes. They offered to follow us home with the bikes free of charge. That's incredible service and worthy of patronage, loyalty and five stars. The store has a large selection of bikes, from $50 kids models to $15,000 competition models. They have all the accessories too, from electronics to clothing to shoes (including the various shoe mounts to match all the random attachment options). What I learned today while getting the bikes dropped off is that this location also offers classes, from cleaning to patching flats, so don't overlook that if you want to learn.
