This bike shop conveniently off the Pinellas Trail. I had to run in today to get my water cage repaired. They were quick to fix it! I was greeted by two friendly bike staff specialist. They noticed i was riding and offered water as well as recommended I fill up my water bottle before i left This store goes beyond a typical bike shop - they offer scheduled group rides as well as bi-annual ladies bike workshops. Two tips to o note: 1. They have one of the better selections of women's clothing. Michelle who is one of the owners does a great job helping women find the right outfit 2. Next to Kraft Cafe - fabulous breakfast/lunch place. Good place to meet after group ride read more

AbsoLutly Great job on my wife's bike. Place is clean, staff is sharp. No wonder they've been around so long. Highest recommendation.

I just bought my latest of three bikes on Saturday! Each bike lasted for years, thanks to their high quality service. The staff is wonderful, and let me try out the bike in the parking lot with their supervision! They got me the right bike that fitted me, and spent time helping me learn how to use it! I recommend them to everyone! Linda C. read more

I was visiting St Pete and needed to replace the rear wheel on my gravel bike. My Trek bike was within warranty and Joe and team worked with my home shop in Massachusetts and with Trek to get a replacement arranged, shipped, expedited, and back in my hands to enjoy for the remainder of my vacation. Every step of the process was professional, with great communications and support. I'm recommending ABC to my daughter and her friends who live here in St Pete. read more

I had a mishap with my Trek Verve 2 and the gears were skipping and some other things needed to be straightened too. I am from Pennsylvania and did not know where to go. I looked up some reviews and decided to go to ABC Bicycles. What a great decision! I took my bike in and met Rick. I told him my problems and he put the bike up on the rack and in about one half hour, my bile was fixed and ready to go. I am ecstatic that I could take my bike in, get it looked at AND repaired too, in the same day.. He is a bike wizard. If I have any bike problems, I know where I will go and where I will send people for their bike repairs. You get FIVE STARS Rick!!!! Thank you!!! Eddie from Erie, Pa. read more

In from out of town. Packed everything into our rv. Except for bike shorts. Wanted to ride the pinnella trail. Stopped at DICKS. They had no selection at all. Called abc and jim answered the phone. What a great customer service attitude. Told me they have a great selection. When we arrived at store jim greeted me and introduced himself. Recalled our conversation and took my wife and I to a large selection. Explained all the different levels of material and pricing. We even got to try them on. Wish abc bike was in my town they would get all my business. Thank you guys we can now enjoy the weather and the awesome trail. read more

I was staying in the St. Pete area and needed an adjustment to my Trek ebike. I called ABC bicycles, having seen that they're a Trek preferred vendor. When I arrived with my bike, Joe, the chief technician, serviced my bike promptly, efficiently and expertly. He charged me very little for his time and my bike has since been working like a charm. I would certainly recommend ABC bicycles to anyone who's looking for good, honest service and expertise at a reasonable price. read more

I was having an issue with the front brakes of my Trek. I called ahead and spoke with Joe, who knew I was on my way. Joe greeted me outside, wearing a face mask (as were the others inside) and immediately began fixing my brakes. He then made a few other adjustments, filled my tires and I was on my way. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! read more

Very helpful staff! They did tuneups on 2 bikes for us and did a great job, and didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need. They also were great answering all the various questions we had, and Andrew in particular gave us a lot of great info about the Pinellas Bike Trail, and even helped show us some things about our bike rack as we were leaving. read more

A big shout out to Rick/Owner of ABC Trek Bicycles on Central Ave. And 66th Street for his kindness. I'm certain the young Foster child will love his used, repurposed bike that Rick fixed up for him! If you live in St. Pete and need any bike services, you have to come here. Trust me when I say that this is head and shoulders above any other place in Pinellas County. My wife and I had a nightmare of a bike situation related to our e-bike which required months of back and forth on parts and coordination with the manufacturer. We use the bike daily for our 2 small boys so for us losing this bike was excruciating for our family's daily schedule which sat on top of the frustration with the manufacturer struggling to resolve the issue for months. Enter ABC. Ric patiently managed our coordination with the manufacturer while also doing an unrelated upgrade of our brakes. We tried other bike shops that happened to be closer to downtown where we live and shops turned us away just for having an e-bike. I'm so glad they did because Ric is amazing. The brake service was great and the coordination with the manufacturer on parts and troubleshooting was truly above and beyond plus he did it all with a smile. We've since been back as regulars when bike repairs are needed and haven't been disappointed for even a second. I can't say enough good things about this shop which is also conveniently located near the Pinellas Trail, a Sunrunner stop and not far from the beach. If you want the best, you need to go to ABC. read more

Great service and the rentals are solid Trek's. 2 blocks from the trail. Would go back for sure.

I stopped in to buy a pair of shoes. My previous shoes were probably 20 years old. Rick helped me pick a new pair at a reasonable price. Buying shoes online just seems like a frustrating exercise. Rick was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I have been an occasional customer of ABC for years. They are consistent and always customer friendly. It's nice to have them so available. read more

My husband went there yesterday, because his bike tire was flat. The staff there replaced the tire, explaining what the issue was. After brining the wheel home, he had very hard time putting it back on the bike and connecting the breaks, so we both went back to the shop. We were warmly greeted and then the wheel was installed on the bike for no extra charge and so were the handle bars that we purchased there. The staff were very nice, friendly, and patient. We will go back there for any other bike needs. Also, they have some event rides that we are planning on checking out soon. read more

A specific shout-out to Michael who was so nice and patient to go over the trail map with us and give us a lot of great recommendations...to the well-maintained and well-equipped bikes, all at a very reasonable price. Yes, ABC Bicycles stocks top quality bikes and related products at reasonable prices, but the real reason to visit this shop is because of the consistent excellent service. I have always been greeted immediately upon arrival and, if I had to wait a bit due to the volume of business, I have been told how long it would be (and they have always kept to this time). Usually, though, I am taken care of right away. The technicians are professional, kind, and courteous in all regards. They always take the time to show me how to operate and use any and all items I have purchased. I wouldn't go anywhere else but ABC Bicycles at 66th Street N. and Central Avenue in St. Pete. read more

The staff at ABC Bicycles is friendly and courteous. Every time I stop by, whether to purchase gear, get repairs, or just say hello, I am always greeted by someone that truly cares about me and my equipment. I still consider myself to be a relative newcomer to the world of road bikes, so I don't always understand what might be happening with my bike. Rick and his staff take the time to listen to all my comments and concerns, no matter how picky they may be. And after listening, they explain everything to me in detail and go off and fix it. Let me emphasize that. They don't "try" to fix it. They "FIX" it. We are fortunate to have ABC Bicycles as a bike shop in our community. Rick and the Staff at ABC, thanks for all you do. read more

ABC bikes goes above and beyond all expectations. Recently my shifting went kaput on my road bike. Rick (store owner) knew it would take a few days to get part needed to fix. So he had the part removed from one of their showroom new bikes to tide me over. The internet may get you short term better "deals", but if your looking for a place with a professional staff that can keep your ride humming along this is the place. Loyd is incredibly knowledgeable and provides service second to none. read more
