First off the address is wrong on this business. Correct address is by trout lake. 3469 Commercial…read moreSt, Vancouver, BC V5N 4E8 Second off the reviews are pretty accurate here. 3.1 average, which is pretty bad in yelp standards. Review average is higher on google, but we all know us yelpers speak the truth. Ridiculous customer service here. I came into the bike shop in person to make an appointment for bike repair, not even expecting to get my bike repaired today. They told me to "go online". I asked why I can't make an appointment in the store? They should be able to control the appointments as they are the bike shop. Again they told me I can't make an appointment in person, and i have to go online. Terrible customer service honestly. I came in for help, and they basically told me to use the internet or go on google. Will definitely never come here again. All the other reviews kind of acknowledge the poor customer service and yikes its true.

If you are a supplier, beware of this business. I was burnt badly by Andrea the owner…read more In late 2022, I was asked to rebrand their business to move away from a female focused local bike shop towards a more inclusive store that welcomed all and to appeal to a broader customer base. My designer and I presented several very well received creative presentations, including logo, positioning and value statements, color scheme refresh, in-store POS, copy platform and first stage we site design. Andrea was delighted with every output. However, out of the blue she emailed me to end the project, having a wobble and lost her nerve, deciding that she wanted to remain female and locally focused. She blamed it on me stating that my webcopy didn't capture the ethos of her business. It didn't as the brief was to take it in a new direction to appeal to her core audience and a broader one alike. She refused to pay me the $3,500 for the work undertaken. As I said, beware of entering into a business ship with this individual.

This is my first post. I've been a Yelp lurker for years,…read moreusing the site to help me figure out where to go. I'm so damn indecisive, and I'm glad ya'll have been here to let me know which places exist out there and are worthy of my time. THIS IS THE PLACE that drove me to go home and write a review. I saw the great reviews so I walked by the place -- I do this to get a feel for places before entering -- and I saw ALL THESE BIKE LOVIN' MEN..which wouldn't normally matter, but I'm such a bike noob, and at the notion of walking into a place full of guys who really know their stuff about bikes, I start to feel all apprehensive due to my apparent uselessness. I don't want to be American-Apparel-judged. I don't have a cool commuter bike, I just recently got a helmet that I actually like, and now I was looking for some bike lights -- which I did research beforehand, but how am I supposed to know if they've got the ones I saw? Well I sucked it up and walked in. I was greeted, first by a dog, whom I believe is named Dax, and then a human directed me to the bike lights. I was given some personal recommendations by him, and he was SUPER FRIENDLY and very helpful! I did not feel judged and everything was relaxed and sincere. I probably would have gone for his recommendations, but then another guy walked over to me and offered his personal recommendations. He told me all about these lights and their features, even recommended some settings for the time of day/weather in which I'm going to be biking. He was funny, helpful, and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. These guys are so nice, even the guy who rung my stuff through the till was nice. They wished me well on my future bike rides, and I was advised to keep my lights away from crackheads or something of the sort. Hilarious. I love this place, and I hadn't even looked at everything. I'm just sure that if you need anything bike-related, you should go here, because the people are awesome, and they will help you, and you will feel good after having been helped by them.

I'm sure if you can get in that the service here is great from the other reviews…read more Here's the but. But when I called to see if they had any space for a tune up they said they don't take appointments but to try bringing it end of the day to see if they had any space. So here I am. My day off. Walked my bike here (since the tire isn't working properly and rubbing against the Mount) at the end of the day to see if I can get it in. 'No sorry we don't have space.' 'And we don't take appointments' So no appointment. Well do you think you'll have any space later? Like can you give me a better time to come by since I can't make an appointment? When you might be less busy? 'Nope. Oh we can put air in your tires for you though' My tire that isn't working...yeah cool...uhm no thanks. 'You could try this other bike shop at this other address you'll have to walk to' I guess thanks for wasting my time. I'll just trudge back up the hill I guess.

Better prices than several other bike rental shops on the same road…read more Regular geared bikes were $9/hour, every extra 30 minutes the half price gets added. Can return it anytime before their closing hours. Free helmets, bike locks, and baskets if needed. Staff are friendly and let you try different bikes to find the right fit. Bikes are well maintained, comfortable, and ride smoothly. We've rented from them multiple times and keep coming back. If you're renting a bike in the area, I'd recommend these guys over the shops right at the entrance--better prices and great service!

Bike shop near Stanley Park that has not only bikes and e-bikes but also includes helmets, locks,…read moreand cargo baskets if you want at no additional charge. Hope got a regular cruiser and I got one of their e-bikes to try out. Both bikes seemed practically new and rode well. I'd never ridden an e-bike before, but I enjoyed the J725 bike I was on. I think it had a 48v battery with a 500w motor and a cadence sensor. It's also really heavy but I only noticed that when I tried to pick it up. The e-bike was fun but totally unnecessary for Stanley Park- there was one steep but really short hill and a longer (but not really long) incline. I probably had the pedaling assist on for less than 15 minutes total during our three hour ride (most of which was spent stopped at various scenic stops, not riding), and perhaps 5 minutes of that was where it was really useful. It's a great way to try out the e-bike experience though, at least for one with that kind of sensor. Service at checkin and checkout was quick and helpful. The person showing me the e-bike seemed new though, he did a good job of showing me the e-bike features but didn't know whether it had a cadence or torque sensor. He also forgot to show me how to work the shifters, which turned out to be the trickiest part of the bike, I had to ask after I went up and down the alley next to the shop and couldn't figure it out. Cost seemed pretty reasonable once you factor in the included helmet and other accessories.
