I called him for the rear flat and ended up with a full tune up and brake job. He used a tire and tube I bought off Amazon. The entire time, he explained things to me and demonstrated best practices. I learned how to extend my bike's life while getting it fixed. When he finished and I took it for a test ride, it rode better than it had the previous six hundred miles! He adjusted everything! I just want to say Joe really loves fixing bikes, he's great at it, and he is just wonderfully honest. I had an issue that I thought meant the bike was unsafe. I thought the previous owner had crashed the carbon bike, hid the damage, and sold it to me. I had mentally prepared myself to pay around $500 to get it fixed. He came and looked at the bike and explained the damage wasn't from a crash and gave me a simple fix. I would have been happy to pay him and offered to do so, but he refused.
