Bottom line: great small business bike shop that has everything you need; from new road/trail bikes…read moreto accessories (chains, helmets, air pumps, attire, etc.). The customer service was also top notch and very welcoming and fast. If you need anything with regards to bikes- make sure you patron this establishment. I definitely will. Venue: it's clean, well appointed, and ergonomic. The only part that may be frustrating is the parking lot where you'll have to compete with the local coffee stand. To me, a minor distraction. The venue was relatively easy to find with Apple/Google Maps. Customer service: fast, knowledgeable, and courteous. It's everything you would want in a business. They want your business and they know how to delivers Service: it was relatively quick for a bike fix (tire). They have all the parts and a back area to work on it. I recommend you calling them prior to visiting for any specific need.

I went in to get my derailleur adjusted for some ghost shifting issues and to bleed my breaks since it had been a few years and I noticed that my rear breaks were feeling spongy and were taking a while to engage. I have a hardtail mountain bike that I like taking out on trails, so I did not want to be dependent upon my front breaks. I was told that they would take a look at my bike and then text me a quote for how much the service would cost before they did any adjustments. They did not text me a quote for service, but instead went ahead and made the adjustments without my permission. When I went to pick up my bike, I was ignored while they helped the men who walked in well after me. When I was finally able to get my bike, I was told that my breads did not need to bleed since they felt "solid" and just needed a little extra pull on the lever. I was then condescendingly told about my front breaks, and to "use this one when you're going downhill too fast and feel scared". Rode my bike around a bit, and the issue with my derailleur is not fixed. This shop is a waste of time and money.

So about a year ago, I built myself a bike from a '94 Cannondale frame I found locally. When you…read morebuild something from the ground up, you get attached to it. And after the initial blush of first love passes, you want to build on the relationship because it's worth it. For me and my bike, this meant slowly, but surely, tweak things here and there to give my baby what she needs. (Yeah, I know, I'm talking about my bike. It's a metaphor. Deal with it. And knock it off with the jokes...this isn't junior high school.) Last spring, out of curiosity, I asked Kelsey and Joey what they could build up that would work well for commuting and joy-riding (on road, sadly...my knees no longer love the chop.) They provided a quote which was quite reasonable, but out of my budget at the time. I told myself that it would happen at some point, but worried that I'd put them to a bunch of research that would come to nothing. But both were extremely cool about it, and told me they'd be there when I decided to go forward. Cut to COVID, and every bike shop on the planet going nuts with massive amounts of work. My bike got more use than ever, and my venerable, but used, wheelset began succumbing to age. And no one and their grandmother had 26" wheels that I would have dared put on my bike and trusted to not kill me. So I went back to Kelsey and Joey, and told them I was ready to pull the trigger. Unfortunately, manufacturers and suppliers were and are having trouble keeping up with increased demand. But rather than proceed with lower end parts, or worse for me, higher end parts, they recommended patience. And then the parts started becoming available, first the hubs, then rims, then spokes. And then, the most beautiful set of wheels I've ever touched. I picked them up a couple of days ago. My only regret? Not having my tires already here so I could mount these up. Everything thing about them screams quality, and looks sexy while doing so. There is a science to wheel-building. Hubs and rims need to be matched. Spokes need to be measured properly. Getting the axle length right. Assembling the parts, then truing and dishing the well. Tensioning the spokes, then putting the wheels through a stress test and tweaking things until they're perfect. Everything needs to be just right. When I picked the wheels up, Kelsey ran me through the checklist of things they did to build these masterpieces. Because they are: they are beyond the science and into the art of the build as well. Look at the pictures, and you'll see that these perfectly trued, smooth spinning wheels are also drop dead gorgeous. Are they too much for this bike? Maybe...I don't think so, because these will last way longer than an off-the-rack set. Are they too much for me? Probably...I'm not Lance Armstrong, in that I'm not an elite athlete who has legs the size of tree trunks and can ride nonstop all day. (Also, I'm not into blood doping.) Am I going to enjoy these for many years to come? Damn straight. When I decide to add to my cycle stable, my first serious upgrade will be a wheelset that will be another Kelsey and Joey masterpiece. Thank you again, a million times over!

When I rolled my bike in to him today, he surpassed my expectations! Joey is a fast mechanic, very thorough and extremely reasonable. If you haven't tried Indigenous Wheels yet, do yourself and your bike a favor and check it out! I'll be ordering at least one new wheel later this year yet Joey did what he could today to extend the life of my current set. Thanks for keeping me on the road!

I had an exceptional experience at Center Cycles, and especially with their owner, Dave, along with…read morehis fantastic team. I initially contacted Center Cycles over the phone on a bike I was interested in, and right from the start, I was impressed by his commitment to customer satisfaction. One of the standout moments during my visit was when Dave, the owner, went above and beyond to price match the sale another bike store was having, as well as put the bike together within half a day's notice so I could test ride the bike that same day. Finding a trustable bike store is hard to do and after my visit, I have nothing but a 100% trust in this store. Center Cycles only had a 49 cm size of the exact bike I was interested in (which is what I currently ride) but they also had a 52 cm size of the bike but a higher end model. I test rode both and the 52 cm to me felt like a much better fit. Their bike fitter, along with other Center Cycles staffing, assessed my fit and all agreed that the 52 cm was the correct size for me. Instead of pushing me towards a sale, they prioritized my comfort and safety. This level of honesty and integrity is a rare find in any business. Throughout my visit, everyone at Center Cycles displayed an incredible level of friendliness and professionalism. They genuinely cared about my cycling experience and were more concerned about finding the right bike for me than making a quick sale. If you're looking for a bike shop that prioritizes your needs, offers exceptional service, and values honesty above all else, Center Cycles is the place to go.

I have my dad's bike after he passed, it probably sat for 8-9 years in a garage before I started…read moreriding it. I rode it a few times during the summer of last year, but nothing long bc the gears needed work due to slipping, chain was dirty, and tires were really bad and starting to split. I took it in to center cycle for a tune up and new tires. The guy said yeah he wouldn't ride on those tires as they were and told me how much it would be for new tires and tubes, I said that was fine. They called me two days later to tell me it was finished and I had my BF pick it up. He said they didn't say anything about the bike when they gave it to him. I was surprised they only charged for the tune up and no tires when I was expecting replacements. When I looked at it the same tires were still on it, the chain looked the same, after riding it, the gears acted the same way and were still slipping . I thought maybe they didn't think the tires needed replacing. I took it on two 15 mile rides. Started to take it out for a 3rd with a 1700ft elevation gain and big decent. Topping off the back tire with air before I left, I noticed a huge piece of my tire was peeling back. There were other spots on the tires where it was starting to split as well. Thank god I noticed before that ride, cause I can't imagine going 40mph down the hill and having my tire blow. This is unacceptable, they literally did nothing to my bike and charged me 150.00 for a "tune up", and sent the bike back with the same shit tires.
