This shop had me almost done in a day just Dodge parts are difficult to match up sometimes! They worked diligently and persistent to get me fixed up and on the road back to traveling! They ruined my transmission a few years back and blamed it on me. Took over 3+ weeks to get my car…read moreback. I eventually had to go to a junk yard and buy my own transmission for 1/15th of the price of their rebuild quote for them to install. They cut my exhaust pipes where the flange from the Catalytic converter meets the H-Pipe. Not sure why they didn't just unbolt it? In fact, didn't even bolt them back together with new bolts when they cut them off. Instead, they put on exhaust sealer/glue. When I got my car back, I told them that I had a big exhaust leak and their response was, "the car was like that when you gave it to us". My driver side exhaust has been leaking for years due to them cutting the flanges.. I had to grind down the flange just to level it out and it's still not perfect. Every week that I called them, they said never even started it. "it will be done next week, call us next week" - "oh yeah he just looked at it, call us tomorrow" - "give us one more day". How hard is it to swap transmissions? They replaced the oil pan on my transmission and charged me for it without my consent because "It had a dimple in it". I even had to take the car back to get the shifting lever re-adjusted because the car had trouble going into reverse. I never even got my old transmission back either. They wanted to charge me a "core" charge for my own transmission when they were supposed to swap it out with another one I had in the trunk. My car drove perfectly fine without 4th gear and overdrive turned off. Once they did whatever they did, I got my car back and it was slipping gears, only to lose all forward gears on the highway. They charged me to install the replacement transmission I bought at the junk yard. I haven't had a problem with that transmission after all these years. This happened years ago but I remember everything. I love how my review isn't recommended. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

To give you an idea of their prices an oil change is $29.99 and the price to replace a starter on a 2008 Kia is $341 (obviously the price will vary depending on part prices). I forgot how much the inspection cost but it was around $20 or so. They did not charge me anything for diagnostics twice which was very nice of them! I believe they offer a AAA discount 10% (up to $50) check your AAA membership and ask Lyndale Garage about it. They offer a quick and thorough inspection on Saturdays (I believe 8am to noon?) which is convenient. There is a yellow line on the right side as you pull up to the garage, just park in that line and wait your turn (it may be beneficial to keep your car running so it's warmed up and the engine runs smoothly). They don't work on weekends which I think is loss of good business as that is the best time to bring your car in for problems so as it doesn't interfere with your Mon-Fri job. Having searched for mechanics who work on weekends, there are very few out there, this is a prime opportunity to capture all of the weekend customers in the area. The money might even offset hiring a weekend mechanic and service person? I can't speak about the mechanics as I've never interacted with them, but the woman who answers the phone sometimes and Dan at the front desk are always a pleasure to speak with! Overall I am very happy with this place, it seems like a family run business that won't rip you off like some shady car places. Definitely give them a try next time your car is acting up.
