The owner is very rude and the food is awful, if you just want ice cream you'll be fine.

DETROIT PIZZA Tucked…read moreinside the tiny town of Redstone is a little piece of Michigan you need to experience. We're talking Detroit pizza. Usually, I'm a thin crust kind of gal, but Propaganda Pie's hearty, large, rectangular Carnivore Creation ($32) is awesome. Chow down on the light, airy crust with plenty of caramelized cheese, ham, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and red sauce. Or ponder the other amusingly named choices: I'm Not a Crook, White Noise, etc. Add a large Caesar Salad ($14) to share. The romaine lettuce tastes like it has just been picked, the croutons are large, and the parmesan is artisanal - not that fake canned crap. Ice cold draft lagers make it all perfect. Indoors is cute and kitschy, but we sat outside to savor the view and the glorious weather. Love their sign: "We Do Not Have WIFI. Talk to each other... pretend it's 1995." Yup, some propaganda for Propaganda Pie.

I definitely enjoy Detroit pizza, (native Michigander here), and have sampled a number of purveyors…read moreof the historic 'blue pan' crust in the state. (We do quite well on this front actually for being way over here in Colorado). But trust me when I say this was easily the best Detroit pizza I've ever had...anywhere. The caramelized cheese crust was pure crispy perfection. Even my fellow aficionados were drooling over my photo proof. I think that's probably all you need to know--if you're nearby you should just go. That's all there is to it. But I will mention there were beautifully large cookies and brownies too, and a good selection of draft beer and fun fountain drinks. They had live music outside when I went (August), there was also nice seating near the river and some yard games to entertain. Total experience situation for sure.

Got a pizza while I was at the Amtrak station on our way back home from glenwood springs / Hotel…read moreColorado. The food: The pizza was delicious the best pizza I had on my 3 week trip across country! It was prepared correctly The service the staff were all very friendly and courteous. They all had smiles on and were in a good mood. Seemed like all the employees worked along together fine. The ambiance: The store was charming the aesthetic is perfect for the brand and the employees fit into that company identity perfectly. I wish I had more time so I could have hung out more. The place seemed a little small but that just makes it more intimate. Thanks Rocky Mountain pizza and glenwood springs, Colorado! Beautiful country friendly people great food. will be back!

We had a bit of a wait with a party of 7 but enjoyed the food. It was a busy time on a Friday night…read moreand totally understand this place gets slammed. It's a small place so there are maybe 7-10 tables. They also have a lot of to go orders. The kids got a large pepperoni and the adults got 2 mediums split so we could have 4 different kinds to try. We love the jalapeño popper and pistachio. Also great is the meatball and the big daddy. The crust is delicious, it's light but also chewy and crisp. We really enjoyed the taste and texture! Also the beer on tap was awesome, it's Austrian called Stiegl and we loved it. Our server was great and comped a round of drinks since the food took a while.
