The place has NO food. The "venue" is ALWAYS OVERLY CROWDED... good luck getting a seat anywhere other than the floor! Atmosphere is extremely unfriendly and VERY CLIQUEY. We're in Grand Junction, CO, not Beverly Hills. This discriminatory and degrading behavior is not acceptable. Go ANYWHERE else.

The doors were locked at 5 pm, and a sign directed us to go downstairs. Instead, we got back in the car and drove around behind the office building where there was a little parking lot for the bar, with a sign that certainly wasn't readable from the street. We went inside, had a great time and the golden tea machine is located in a room dedicated to the Denver Broncos. There were Momentos in there from the Broncos that I had never seen way back to Pat Bolen and John 7. Great ambience, and the air conditioner was just right on such a hot day. The Golden Tee machine was updated, and worked perfectly. My wife couldn't have been happier. Talked with the bartender, Shannon, and she was very sweet and very efficient. Had a great time in there, and apparently it's a local spot, and everyone is very friendly. We'll be back.

It's now Saturday and I don't remember what I ate other than the 2 Stella's I had with dinner. My daughter said the chicken fried steak was overcooked. No, it can't be sparkling all the time especially with taxidermy on the walls.

The hot chicken was I suppose a description of the temperature and not the spicyness because the sandwich was sweet and very mustardy. The chicken Caesar was disappointing and I had to get my own sugar and lemon from the drink stand, so I really don't know why there is a waitress or why I had to tip her. We walked in thinking it was a deli... because it says it's a deli, but you can't walk up to the counter and order a sandwich like one would in that type of establishment. You have to sit at a table and be waited on. I hate to advocate for the elimination of a position, but this place would just be so much better without the waitress. The potato salad also tasted rancid and when we mentioned it, nothing was done about it. No refund, no replacement. Just, "ok, we'll check it." There's a food truck down the street called Two Forks. It is much much much better and has better prices. Sorry Capitol Deli, but you aren't going to make it if you keep this up.
