Stopped to charge the Tesla in Parachute and looked on Yelp for food choices. The food here is delicious and definitely worth the 5 minute walk across the freeway. The red hot sauce is good and spicy. I had the tacos and was very impressed with how crispy the chorizo was. My girlfriend had the pupusas with chicharones and they were very good as well. I hate to give this place an average review because the lady was so sweet, but I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. For some reason, probably miscommunication between my husband and I, I thought this was more of a restaurant than a take away shop with dirty tables, a semi safe high chair and a slanted floor. Still, we stayed and ate. Previous review talk about "authentic Mexican fair", and I'm sorry but to me, that should include chips and salsa, and Mexican beer, which it did not. We got my son a kids chicken quesadilla which came with rice and beans, my husband had beef tacos and I had a beef quesadilla which came with a pinch of lettuce, 3 slices of pickled carrot and a little onion. It was salty and oily and I was really perplexed that mine didn't come with rice and beans. Sure it was less than $25 including two water bottles, but I'm highly recommending getting take out and not eating in. read more

However, the smell of emanating from the building where heavenly and it seemed like a decent place to find something to eat. We walked into the building and there were about 5 small tables and a lady who was rushed trying to get food on them. We ordered our food and when it came, we were pleasantly surprised. The portion sizes were good, The taste was amazing, and she was very genial as she served us. For myself, I got a chicken dish and it was heavenly. If you're local, you already know. If you're driving through on I-70, exit at Parachute and come eat here. Nalini's is a small, family-owned and run hole in the wall. And like most holes in most walls, the food is damn fine. Service is great, prices are low, and--pleasantly shocking--the portions are sensible instead of the typical American Super Size. Plenty of parking and super easy access on and off the freeway. Get the Fanta Piña if they have it when you come in. Do it. read more

Good and authentic Mexican/Central American food. Excellent service....the cook is the server and her son is the owner. She is extremely nice and hospitable. She was very excited when I read her yelp reviews to her because she had no idea her business was on the Internet. The restaurant is very small and the food is homemade. Extremely affordable. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is inside what used to be the living room of a small house. What a fantastic place to randomly walk into! I saw Salvadorean cuisine, immediately craved pupusas and pulled off the freeway. Apparently the woman who runs the place was out from a surgery but Victor was filling in and made me two stellar pupusas con chicharron. They make the tortillas and horchata in house too! Place itself shares a small house with a salon and the neighbourhood feel really comes through here. Definitely stopping back here again on my way through. read more

Service was an A++. Our meal was excellent - me being gluten free asked for the cheese/chicken quesadilla to be made on corn tortilla v flour. The Chef made the corn tortilla from scratch; it was perfect. We also shared a garden salad that was fresh & plentiful. Our next time out that way, we will definitely have a meal here. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. It's not one of those fancy places you'll find in a big city. It's literally just really great food at a reasonable price. I had the carna asada tacos and my husband had the pupusas both were amazing! The owner literally made everything fresh in the back, so you know it's fresh but it can take a few more minutes, because this kind of art for your taste buds takes a little more time.
