Extremely rude customer service at the store. She reiterated multiple times that I "understand what this means for the business," which felt unnecessarily intense and confrontational. I had no prior knowledge of any box, as the item was given to me already gift-wrapped. I calmly explained this, but was still made to repeat that I "understand" -- over and over -- in a way that felt accusatory and frankly demeaning. I understand that small businesses have return policies, and I respected that -- I came with a valid gift receipt and handled the interaction politely. The issue wasn't the policy, it was the way I was treated. I accepted the store credit, but I left the store with a strong impression of how unpleasant the owner's behavior was. This feedback is not about the outcome -- it's about how a customer, especially a new mother, should never be spoken to that way. I hope future interactions are handled with more empathy and professionalism.

Or if you ask for clothes in your registry always ensure they include a receipt. Or can always re-gift or donate to mamas in need/mamas to be! This store is always clean, neat, & easy to navigate.
