Strawberry poptart - ask to have it warmed up
    Allison N.

Plenty of tables and seating, but not a lot of comfy seating / couches. Staff was welcoming and helpful as my husband and I explored the menu, lots of options. I loved that they had locally made syrups instead of just the plastic bottles that sit on shelves for years. Good coffee, decent prices for flavored lattes. Their strawberry poptart was okay - glad we warmed it up but I think it was just microwaved so it lost any flake/texture to the crust. I'd come back and support this local shop!

This is quaint but cute, desolate coffee shop in Springhill, KS. I had seen it on Google searches before whenever I was in the area and trying to find a different coffee shop. This past week, my husband and I finally got a chance to stop in here. When we did we were hungry and happy to learn they sold paninis here. We both had the southwest chicken one, and although I didn't notice anything southwest about it, it was pretty good. The cheese was gooey, so nothing wrong with that. We had already had our drip coffee, and wanted something different. As I checked things on the menu, I noticed that they sell Hammerhand coffee, from up in Liberty, MO, which was interesting. They also sell scratch bakery items from K.C. We both ended up having their oat pistachio latte, cold, which was very tasty. I wished I lived closer since most stopped offering pistachio lattes. The baristas were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I would recommend anyone near the area to stop by. The place is spacious and accommodating. Although they have tables near outlets, the chairs aren't too comfortable for a long stay, but they do have a cozy couch to sit at for a while.

Caramel coffee cloud and strawberry matcha

Okay what, so cute so yummy, so many options! I got the strawberry Matcha iced and it's amazing and also a caramel coffee cloud, which is also super yummy! And so pretty! The biscuits and gravy are super good! It was super fast for everything that I ordered as well! The gals were super nice and friendly and helpful! They picked my order today!

This place is a hidden gem. Very spacious, clean, aesthetically pleasing, and excellent pastry selection. Their menu is plentiful and includes coffee, lattes, frappes, smoothies, and refreshers. The baristas are very kind and take care of each customers. I came in mid-morning and it was a quiet Wednesday, but I could imagine this place being popular on the weekends. I ordered a blueberry scone and one of their seasonal "Girl Scout lattes" and it was also delicious. I could not recommend this place more, I just wish it was closer!

Who knew that such a cute coffee shop was tucked away in old downtown Spring Hill. When visiting family in town, I premeditatedly make my way into the Bean Coffee Co for their small, but delightful selection of drinks, pastries and brunch food. Just some of their highlights: the Grown-Up Grilled Cheese is so unique; sweet and spicy jalapeño cream cheese on a ham and bacon melt. Secondly, I dig their Matcha Frappe. They boast all of the health benefits of it, but even without those antioxidants, I think it's an improved creamy take on a green tea frappe! Finally, I'm super excited for the fall as they just unveiled their Pumpkin Chai Latte. The slight pumpkin flavor peaks through the "spiciness" of the chai in both the iced and warm versions. Overall, I'm very pleased to have found this gem. It can get costly between the food, drinks and their wonderful berry pop-tarts, but I find it is well-worth it.

We were in yesterday (Sat around 8:15 AM). The girl working the order register was a snot from the get go. I find it hard to believe that other customers didnt have complaints about her either. We attempted to order food which she rang up nit than said we don't have biscuits and gravy so you can't have that or the savory crepe with gravy. Ok but you rang it up, didn't ask anyone so how's then did you know you didnt have two of the six things you have on the menu? We then ordered house coffee which she then began writing our name on plastic drink cups. When we told her, those are regular coffees right? She said no your ordered iced. My girlfriend said NO, I ordered coffee and I said, "I'll have a coffee too". I never said iced ether and she threw a fit. We said you know what, make it 2 Togo coffees. She gave my girlfriend that leaked the entire time and the bottom of the cup was saturated like it was going to fall apart anytime. She has no business being in a customer service role. Not sure what her issue was. Was it we weren't regulars? Because if so, as a small business-good luck growing your business catering only to your 20-30 regulars. I will say, it was a solid cup of coffee though.

First of all, be sure not to blink because the sign isn't very visable and the location is unassuming from the outside, abeit a very clean exterior. Walking in, I love the vibe, trendy but not pretentious, grounded yet modern and a fair amount of people but not overflowing. Yessiree Bob, this is my kind of place. Oh and the baristas are patient, kind and willing to offer advice based on your individual tastes. I've been here several times; however, my eating habits preclude me from indulging in anything outside of berries. Do the apple fritters, donuts, muffins and other items look outstanding, of course they do. In fact, my buddy whom I generally meet there has raved how good the pastries are and after living in Austin and trying home made poptarts, I'm still kicking myself for not trying them. However, the path to maintaining a healthy weight and figure is paved in discipline. I must admit they nailed the ambiance. The cement floors are patterned with what looks like dark wood textured tiles and the walls are a warm burgundy, emitting a certain visual warmth. The hanging art amuses me, sometimes it's movie paintings, sometimes its modern art while other times it's eclectic and I've never figured out their rotation, but I appreciate it. The hanging lamps offer a bit of 2010 mod while the open coffee service area proudly displays all of the tools of an expert craftsman. The counter area has a small display case enticing the sweet tooth and the chalk boards give a simplistic view of their menu, but they also offer daily "experiments" that are fun to sample. The first time I came, I tried the Café Au Lait which was very strong, robust and full of lasting flavor. The 12oz amount seemed to be about perfect for my needs. The next time I dropped by I sampled the Dulce de Leche which was a mistake. Why, you might be wondering? Because I've never ordered anything else since then and I always get the 16oz. It's smooth, a little softer on the coffee flavor while balancing it with the strong caramel notes. I know it's probably got more calories than I want, but hey, that's why I'm not eating! They also have some pretty good selection of home ground coffees from places like Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil and other far, far away locations. Come to think of it I don't recall if they have any Hawaiian beans which are pretty trendy now (Kona is a great coffee!!) Oh I forgot to mention they do have a fast wifi but please for the love of God, don't be that geek in the corner pretending to write the great American novel in the corner. That's so.... 2000s.... I even enjoyed the barstool, which looked to be about 75 lbs but actually was more like 10. As my Corgi body got up, that thing shot out from underneath me like a butt mounted, spring loaded rocket and took off across the dining room. Many nice people asked if I was OK, and I assured them that I was only dealing with the pain of embarrassment. I like to think that my exploits entertain the masses :) As for the coffee, it was excellent. Much better than the overheated fare at Charbux. The pastries were fresh, tasty, and some of the best I've ever had at a coffeehouse. The young baristas that work there are very nice, which is refreshing.
