I have a 1998 Weber Genesis gas grill that had a outdated hose regulator. Didn't think it could be replaced because of the age & availability of replacement parts. I was ready to get rid of it. This grill was passed down to me by a very close friend and has sentimental value. My wife talked me into looking at options for help and we found Martin. He was great on my initial phone contact with him and talked me thru the entire process & repair options. We agreed to have him clean the entire grill and complete the hose regulator replacement. He picked up the grill, completed the work, and delivered it as promised looking great. I would highly recommend Martin for all BBQ cleaning and repair services.

It was a fast repair the quality on trouble shooting was perfect. Very friendly and just in time for the football game. I trust the BBQ doctor for sure.

I opened it up the other day and saw rodent droppings in both chambers underneath the burners. Some other companies had responded to my Yelp inquiry but from either their reviews or chatting with them, I concluded they didn't have the right experiences or scope of services to meet my needs. When i called the BBQ Doctors, Martin answered the phone. I described the situation and Martin confirmed that he has taken care of my grill type many times over the years. He informed me that he doesn't come out to do an on-site assessment but instead does his assessment by looking at photos. Per Martin's instructions, I text to him 4 photos of the grill including a photo of the full grill (top closed), full grill (top open), close-up of the flavor bars, close-up of the burner tubes + heat deflectors. I also sent him a photo of the rodent droppings in the chamber. About 10 minutes after sending the photos, Martin called me back. His message: "I thought I had a good incoming customer, until I saw your photos." My first thought was that my grill was in such bad shape I needed to replace the whole things. Instead Martin, explained that my grill looks in great shape and that he recommends that I do the cleaning myself. He explained that he wouldn't feel right if he told me that the best way to proceed was to hire him and pay his cleaning fee. He then went on to describe the easy steps for me to take to clean the grill - degrease it, scrape the residue off the flavor bars and heat deflectors. He described that although it's clear that rodents had been inside, it actually doesn't look that bad and that he has seen far worse. He said that a DIY cleaning holds minimal risks for me if I take proper care. Martin was very helpful to me to set up the project for me confidently DYI. I can tell that with this approach to working with me, even though his recommendation was not to hire him, that I'm confident that he would be effective and professional dealing with customers that actually hire and pay him. If you have a grill that you've neglected for several years such that it needs a thorough cleaning and potentially some replacement parts, call Martin - I'm certain he will do a great job for you.
