Greg cleaned my Weber Summit grill today. The grill is around 12 yrs old and was very grimy. Burners were clogged and igniters not igniting, along with very dirty grills and flavorizer bars. It looks and runs like new now. I'm very happy with the result at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend the BBQ Fixer! read more

Greg and Jeff did an exceptional job on the new system setup on my Weber Summit FS38X. Complex system with integrated electronic controls. They were great to work with, system was clean spotless when they were done and they went through everything with me before leaving. I would definitely recommend them for system setup or cleaning! read more

A friend recommended The BBQ Fixer to me, she has her grill cleaned every year by this business. I contacted them and requested a cleaning. I also mentioned 2 burners were not operating properly. Jeff arrived and got busy. He was friendly, professional and had all the supplies necessary including drop cloths. Also very tidy. Jeff never stopped working for over 3 hours. Jeff was able to clear the issue with the burners just by cleaning. This service was worth every penny and I will be calling them every spring. read more

Excellent service...Greg is knowledgeable, flexible and did a great job removing our old built in grill and installing the new one.

Greg and his team are experts in their craft. No I'm not blowing sunshine up no one's business... just talking facts. Fact: my outdoor Viking was out of shape, abused, and not pretty to look at. In all honesty, I thought I was going to spend just as much for a new grill. Fact: new hardware was installed, (and the entire grill was cleaned... like clean clean) I never new such abused equipment can be restored in such a way. Greg is no nonsense and straight to the point of what you need to restore your grill to its former, if not new condition. I'm not sure if I can go into detailing if price, but I will say this, he is fair, and does not play games like other vendors servicing Danville do. Greg is true to his craft, and also is able to give pointers to maximize utility of your grill. Do I recommend him? Yes. His workmanship? Squared away. Did I save his contact? Yes. Do yourself a favor and give him a call. Guaranteed if you hear him during your consultation, you know you're in the presence of an expert read more

Just had my 12 year old bbq rebuilt by Greg...new burners, trays, igniters, grills, and a super cleaning. Essentially a BBQ rebuild. Looks and works like brand new at a fraction of the cost of a new BBQ. Greg is awesome to work with. Super nice man, communicates throughout, shows up when he says he will, etc. I highly recommend Greg, the BBQ Fixer. read more

Gregory arrived on time and had my BBQ up and running in minutes. Friendly, professional, and high quality service.

Greg did an amazing job cleaning and repairing my outdoor grill. We recently moved in and it looked like the grill has never been cleaned. Greg spent a good 4 hours giving the grill a much needed deep clean and replacing the old gas regulators and replacing gas knobs. The side burner also was not working and he got that fixed. The grill looks great and is working great. Thanks for the amazing job. We will definitely see you again next summer for the next cleaning. read more

Fast response from original inquiry, quick scheduling and excellent work. I have a 7 year old Fire Magic Gas grill that I clean annually but it's just typically the surface dirt and grease on the unit and the grills. We use the BBQ 3-4 times a week all year long. My unit was starting to experience flare ups from all the grease inside the unit. It was starting to cake up with grease and grim along the inside as well. Jeff came out and took the entire BBQ apart and thoroughly cleaned the burners, grates, flavor grids, all Parts inside and out and when it was done it looked like it was brand new. He tested everything and goes over any concerns or issues there might be. Fortunately I didn't need any parts but I'm calling them next time or annually for sure. This looks and works like it did when it was Brand new. Great job and he cleaned up like he wasn't there. read more

Greg did fantastic work. Quick response, came on time and was very helpful. Thanks!

Had my old BBQ cleaned today and am so happy! Looks great. So nice to have an old BBQ look new again!

We had excellent service from The Fixer! We have a built in grill that is about ten years old. Two burners and the igniter were not working, and the grill has never been professionally cleaned or serviced. Gregory Lane arrived right on time and spent the entire day cleaning and fixing our grill. The fee was very reasonable - and much less than I expected, given the amount of time he spent. I highly recommend The Fixer. read more

Texted the fixer and we set a date and time for the cleaning. I thought the price is high but worth it. Arrived on time and set out cleaning the grill. Grill looks like new! Checked the griill out and did not see anything that needed replacing. Cleaned up after themselves. I am impressed and a happy customer. read more

Greg showed up on time and spent hours cleaning the grill. He's thorough in cleaning out the whole BBQ. He even made recommendations in where to find replacement parts! Thanks so much Greg! read more

Greg has now cleaned and serviced our outdoor kitchen barbecue twice. And he still manages to make it look brand new every time (it's easily 8-10 years old). Amazing service and well worth the money. Plus a super nice and professional guy. read more

I set up a time with Greg a week in advance. He showed up on time and spent 3 hours on my Weber Summit Grill that had seen much better days. When he was done, it looked nearly new and performs exactly as it did new. Greg also found a small gas leak in a fitting I used (mine is a natural gas weber) and provided a new gas shutoff that he had stocked in his truck. He charged me less than I paid for the incorrect one I bought at home depot. Honest, great work ethic, great customer service. I'm so glad that my contractor (who also uses Greg) referred him to me. read more

I can't believe how great my grill looks and works. This is one of those nasty jobs that always gets put off. When my searing burner broke I thought I was just going to have it replaced and reinstalled. Greg came at the appointed time, and I mean at the EXACT time...high marks just for that. He gave me a price on the parts I needed and told me he would order them and then return to do the install. I proceeded to ask about regular maintenance and he told me about his cleaning service. So glad he did. We set a time when he would come back and do it all. Then I asked if he needed a deposit or payment for the parts, but he surprisingly said I could pay when it was done. When the parts arrived he again returned at the exact time...I love promptness. It shows respect for his time, my time and his business. He came with everything he needed including tarps and everything to keep my area clean. Quite a feat considering the built up grease and grime that he had to clean. I would not have thought it possible. When he was done, my $6000 12 year old grill looked brand new. Worth every penny that he charges and I will now have him back on a regular basis. I rarely review and when I do there has to be something either terribly wrong that I want to warn people about or something so right that I want to shout it from the rooftops. Consider this is me on my roof! read more

Greg was referred to me by a neighbor from a local neighborhood. His quote was SPOT ON, he was able to fix EVERYTHING that was wrong with our aging built in grill. I felt his pricing was reasonable and as expected for a grill the size of ours. His cost also included a cleaning, which it was long overdue for. He said he'd be here at 9am, and rang the bell to the minute. He quoted it would likely be a 4 hour job, and it took an hour or so more with packing up his tools, and demonstrating that everything was working. I can't recommend him highly enough! Need a grill cleaned, need a grill repaired, need some help figuring out what you need? Call this guy, he knows what he's talking about! read more

Greg did an AMAZING job on our BBQ island. He was completely thorough and took his time doing more than we even expected. Very professional. Our 4 yr old grill looks and works like brand new! This guy is great. I called him and he knew exactly what to do to fix my Lynx BBQ and gave me a price over the phone. Not the standard fee for driving here, looking at it, etc. A reasonable fixed price and he knew what he was doing. He showed up, set out a blanket to protect the counter and even the ground and began pulling apart the BBQ to replace the entire ignition system (parts were covered under warrenty. Highly recommend this guy and I am in the process of cloning him for other appliance needs!!! Terribly nice, knows his business and incredibly efficient. read more

This, guy, Greg is great! I was concerned about an issue that I had with our Viking BBQ. The unit weighs over 200 pounds and is built into a concrete set up "bar" that a contractor made for us. The propane regulator broke and there really was no way to get to the input valve. Greg and a friend were able to lift the BBQ and change out the hose. Wow! That was a job! But the real story is what Greg did afterward. The unit was cleaned so well that it honestly appeared new. I was shocked at the unbelievable job that he did to make it shine like it came out of the original box. While he cleaned, I noticed that this guy really likes what he is doing! He takes pride in his work and knowledge about BBQ's and BBQing! Just ask him about what and how he grills and smokes his meals! Go with this Greg! You will not be sorry! read more

We bought our Lynx outdoor BBQ grill used from the previous homeowners and experienced a lot of problems with the starter, since the model is 10 years old. Greg made our nearly 20 year old built in grill look and work like new. There were many missing and broken parts and the grill was completely non-functional before. Greg is THE FIXER. We hired Greg because our previous guy was booked, whom we liked very much. Thrilled we did. As much as we loved our first guy, Greg is even better, which is shocking. I couldn't begin to explain the residual grime that builds after cooking daily on my big bad bbq...I clean it, just not like it deserves to bathe. We've had Greg come out 4 times now, and I would absolutely recommend him to my elderly mom. He is prompt, thorough, professional, cool, and incredibly honest. We might invite him to Thanksgiving dinner; we are that grateful for his fantastic service. Hire this guy. Unless he's on his way to my place. read more

I have a large Fire Magic grill that needed some work. I called to get a gas leak fixed. Greg came out ON TIME, was very organized, and within 3 mins knew exactly what it needed. The best part is that he was ale to get Fire Magic to cover the 4 burners under warranty. This would have been at least $800 to buy them! Greg knows his stuff and is very fair with price! Greg Lane is a BBQ, Fireplace & Patio Heater Specialist. We had a BBQ that needed to be hooked up to a pre-existing gas line and our firepit needed servicing (ring cracked in several places and ignitor was shot) . Greg gave us a competitive and fair quote, showed up as promised -- including on two of the hottest days of the year, did a great job to research our firepit which has some custom components, and fixed everything within the quote he provided. Greg comes across as somebody who takes great pride in his work; he made a custom fix to our firepit to make it work-- showed a great deal of persistence. I guess that's why he's called "The Fixer". I would definitely call Greg if I have any problems with my BBQ also-- dependable/quality service! read more

Communication and response time is incredibly poor. We need our BBQ Galore Turbo grill cleaned and a valve repaired. I had to contact him 2 times to get him to engage. He came to inspect grill on March 10th. Got back to us on March 13th with price quote. Based on $396 quote, I emailed back that I was torn whether to repair Turbo or not, since we are in process of having new outdoor kitchen installed, but that this was a couple of month process (at least) and we needed a grill in the meantime, pointing out that there were new grills available for about the same price as his quote to repair...so asked if we did go the direction of having him clean and repair our Turbo could he have done in time for our granddaughter's bday party on April 8th. He replied that he could not, recommending that I go ahead and purchase the new grill. Turned out it rained the weekend of the party, so didn't need the BBQ by that date, so I tried to re-engage Greg with an email on 4/6 asking to get our grill fixed, because by then I'd looked at the $350 grills out there and would rather put the $$ into our Turbo, as it's just way better quality. Got no response from Greg. Inquired again on 4/27....still no response. As such, I feel the 1-Star "Eek! Methinks not" is an appropriate rating. Anyone you have to try this hard to do business with is probably someone not to do business with. If he won't engage to earn your business, imagine how he is if something goes wrong? read more

I have a 5 year old 42" Lynx Grill that needed a valve replaced on the pro-sear side. I called Lynx to get a name for an authorized dealer and they gave me Greg's name. I called Greg and made an appointment. As others have said, he arrived on time, replaced the valve and if I didn't see him doing the work there would be no way for me to know he was here. He is that conscientious and clean. Definitely recommend him, he is professional and thoroughly knowledgeable about my grill. As it turns out I think he is the one that sold it to me before BBQ Galore went out of business in Dublin. Will definitely call him if my grill or fireplaces need attention down the road.
