    Martini with a side car
    Jim G.

Why come to Bay Street? Get the HUGE martini book and start drinking! Some of the martinis come in a large martini glass, but the more classic martinis come in a smaller glass with a side car to keep it cool. Haven't seen that for years but a nice touch. The food is solid, nothing mind blowing, but good portions for the price since they come with salad, bread, and the sides. I enjoyed the pork chop more than the fillet. Though the best thing was the scallop. Going back in couple days, hope everyone recovered from the big birthday bash!

We planned ahead and called for reservations and I'm glad that we did! It was busy! From the start, our service was friendly and welcoming, the waitress and bar staff were both attentive and professional. Our drinks were well made, and if we weren't driving we certainly would have taken better advantage of their large martini list. *I'll take this opportunity to point out the elephant in the room, the decor. Historic hotel meets Florida kitsch. You will see. The menu itself is limited, but the specials added variety. We loved the lobster soup of the day. Pairing that with bread and large salads with homemade dressing made for a great starter. We followed with well prepared steaks for our dinner, but weren't able to choose our sides- I would have preferred to. In any case, decorating aside, I would recommend stopping in if you're in the area. Food is good and that's what's important

Appetizer- fresh roasted garlic bulb served over spinach

A hidden gem at Sodus Point! We indulged in some amazing food in a friendly environment after a day on the boat. We've driven by for years & so happy we stopped today. I made a last minute reservation and highly suggest to call for a reservation. Limited hours so call ahead. My husband enjoyed the soup special, oyster soup. We split the fresh roasted garlic bulb appetizer served over spinach. The swordfish seafood special for the day was amazing. Main entree came with a house salad. I enjoyed the best crumbly blue dressing on my house salad. The staff is warm, welcoming, personable & very attentive. The quality of food and exceptional service certainly matched the price. We'll definitely be back! And, will try a martini upon our return. They have a nine page martini menu! Make a reservation and enjoy.

One thing that would make this place improved would be adding to open table or another online reservation site. I tried for hours, calling to make a reservation and got a constant busy signal. When another member of our party tried and got through, we were told 8:30 was only reservation. Disappointing!

I have been here a few times, never for dinner but always for a GREAT drink. They never disappoint here. If you want a quality drink, you will NOT be disappointed here! Bartenders are great and drinks were fantastic! Photo shows the espresso martini and the "mounds" martini.

We grabbed some Adirondack chairs on the side of the stage where we able to enjoy the music of Corey comer. The restaurant is also available to get to by boat as the site also hosts a marina with slips for both transient boats and seasonal slip rentals. My wife was given a gift card for Skippers for her birthday, and over the weekend, we decided to go use it. It's situated somewhat in a residential neighborhood with a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant. We were sat right away. It was an early dinner for us, around 4PM. There were a couple other tables sat, but the restaurant was mostly open. We asked for an outdoor seat and were brought right back. The inside of the restaurant is large with 2 floors and was very dark inside. We were given our menus. Took a bit for our server to get to us, but no big deal. I ordered the risotto with chicken and a virgin pina colada while my wife got the lobster stuffed haddock with a drink special. As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I always appreciate a restaurant that offers mocktails. Again, not a ton of tables sat, but it took a bit for us to get our food. Luckily, it was a beautiful day to just sit and look out onto the water. Our food was brought over and we got to it. Portions were large, but we both felt the food was just okay. My risotto had very little flavor, and the chicken was completely unseasoned. My wife said her food was fine, but the onion rings were the stand out of her meal. Our gift card was for $80 and our 2 meals and drinks came to $86. Our server was very friendly, but the service was slow for the amount of people there. Beautiful view on the outside patio, but for us, that was the best part of the experience.

Cute crab shack ambience, it's a hot spot so order or arrive before the dinner crowd. My first visit was a Saturday around 6 and it was crowded and not a seat to be had! All the seafood platters being served looked amazing, so I knew I was in the right spot! I was greeted as I approached the counter and was assisted with my take out and recommended popular party sack combinations. I ordered #3 which includes a lobster tail, one cluster or 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb shrimp (I recommend requesting Head Off!) a piece of corn, and 2-3 potatoes. I chose Cajun seasoning and, very hot spice. Warning you best be a very spicy hot lover, it was challenging but loved it! I have already returned for a second time, also #3 sack added extra corn $3 and extra potatoes $3. CrabnGo special seasoning and still extra hot! Delicious not as over the top as Cajun Hot! $47 and change with the added corn and potatoes. $42 and change without. Only one quarter piece of corn first order and two potatoes. Love it!
