Tonight is a Pizza night. So a drive to town for a take away dinner. Two pizzas for us. Meat for one , cheese n vege for the other. Both were good but the cheese was with Broccoli and such a small amount to be invisible. See picture. I would order the meat pizza again. Put a hold on the other.

Came here on Friday night. It was empty. I kind of understand why now lol. Our waitress was lovely, but the food was terrible. Nachos were gross and pizza was subpar. It was the worst place we ate during our weekend away. Definitely stay away!

Don't get the low reviews. Great service from Maddie. Really good wings, bbq chicken salad was nice. Pizza could be cooked at hotter temp, a little blackness is ok. I would skip jacks and try this instead.

Went to chimney bluff state park and after the trail we were starving. Stopped by this place, no wait, great outdoor seating, and intriguing menu Ordered: stuffed clam for appetizer Lobster Mac n cheese (came with side salad) And their berry mule Efficient service amazing food generous portions all with a serene view. Also primely located next to a couple ice cream shops for dessert if you're not feeling a large dessert item off their menu (we could barely finish a 1 scoop waffle cone but I HAD to make room for ice cream lol)

Upstairs on west side open air patio! Perfect location for a late afternoon, "had enough sun for the day", sipping and snacking rest!

A little update on Six50 on the Bay. Date-7/3/22 Time-5:30pm Extremely busy on the point but perfect time to come here for food and drinks. It does get very busy as the evening rolls on. Make reservations ahead of time! On this visit, we enjoyed a lemonade fun drink an ice cold IPA, an Amazing Grains giant pretzel (get it!!!!), and the July Fourth red, white and blue salad! Spring mix, fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, candied walnuts, fresh goat cheese, with a balsamic drizzle! Delish! We have supported Six50 since their opening! There are growing pains as with most new restaurants. Each year has gotten better. This year seems to be the best yet. The upstairs space is perfect for providing amazing views. The staff is doing an amazing job even with the shortages that are plaguing so many venues. We know a few servers and they are sharing some information that is disappointing. We have all struggled with a global pandemic and a volatile political climate. We are now dealing with people who don't want to work and those who do, are getting shafted. Large groups are splitting the checks which in and of itself is difficult to manage for a server & then not tipping. Like...what??? A fair number are quite inebriated when they arrive, are demanding and then don't tip. A number of these servers are college students and are working to save money for school... so pay tips in cash please. This helps tremendously since your credit card charges the tax on tips too. Try and remember your jobs when you were younger. Put yourself in their position. I am sure they will appreciate it. I will say, if you aren't satisfied with your service, provide constructive feedback, ask to speak with a manager and leave a small tip. The fact of the matter is, these are all people serving you while you enjoy a day/night out. Keep up the good work!

    "8oz Fish Fry"

This place has gone so far down hill since last season....I ordered an 8oz Beer Battered Halibut Fish Fry with a side of roasted potatoes. What I received was 3 small potatoes and what can be compared to a large Fishstick. The batter was not fully cooked and the fish was grey and flavorless. Incredibly disappointing and extremely overpriced. I wouldn't have paid $7 for this let alone the $21

I was surprised by the reviews when I came to write mine. I luckily stopped in before checking them. Otherwise I would have missed out on a great restaurant. The restaurant is right on the water in Sodus. There are plenty of outdoor seating options. There is outdoor seating covered by the roof on the 2nd floor, outdoor seating right by the water with umbrellas at the table, or seating out front on the main Sodus strip. If it's nice they will open the exterior wall facing the water. We had 2 small plates and a pizza. The shrimp portion was a little on the small side but tasted much better than normal peel n eat shrimp. These were served warm with butter and old Bay coating them. I really liked them and would get them again. We ordered a full order of nachos...they were huge! They weren't spicy (if you didn't intentionally eat a jalepeno slice) and had a good ammount of beef. The picture I took was after we worked on them for a while. The wood fired pizza was good too...we opted for "loaded potato" pizza to try something different. It was pretty good and worth the price. This was more than enough for two people. We were overly full and still had half the pizza to take home. The drink selection and pricing were surprising. They have large wine slushes for 7 dollars. We ordered the peach and it tasted like a tropical frozen drink. The cup was overflowing (pic was after we drank some). They had a decent wine by the glass selection and a decent beer selection with a few "craft offerings". They had several specialty cocktails including several mid shelf margaritas and martinis. All were around 8 dollars which I think is fair for the brands of alcohol and type/size. The server was a nice guy and attentive. Refills were quick and he stopped by to check on us often even though he was slammed. I think his name was Adrian. He recommended the shrimp to us which was a good call. They had live music after 7pm. It was a trio of singers. I found it a little odd at first because they were playing recorded music. I ended up liking it and felt like it fit well. The dinner prices are a little high but understandable given the location on the water. I would suggest sticking with appetizers/pizza if you don't want to spend 20 to 30 per meal. I've been to Jack's down the street. It's a bar atmosphere as where six50 was more like a bistro vibe. Six50 is definitely the nicer of the two places. The food is better too. If you are looking for a party, go to Jack's. If you want a quiet meal with good food and a view, go to six50. One note to the owner...the blue light draft price was 3.50 on the menu but 4 on the bill.

Pretty high priced for cold chicken wings and Cobb salad with grizzly fat "bacon" in it. Great atmosphere; marginal food.

They raved about how wonderful eating out on the deck was. Inside was all wood, like the hall of a ship and rather dark in my opinion. I know it's unfortunate but we walked up to the hostess stand and the girl informed us that the fryer and the grill top were not working. We asked what were our options and she handed us a waitress slip with *maybe* 10 items on it including soup, salad and kid pizza. BUT what irked me more than their equipment being in disrepair was the hostess's attitude. My Uncle thanked her for letting us know and she had some reply like, "Yeah, why wouldn't I tell you?" Very strange. Not a simple "You're welcome." Or "Sorry for the inconvenience." I know it's not like the restaurant WANTED their equipment to fail but I think they should train their hostess on better customer service. I do have to say that the woman working in the gift shop was LOVELY. She suggested another restaurant for us to go to (The Franklin House) and even NOT recommending another suggestion (savings us from another potential restaurant fail.) So perhaps this place *could be* good but I will never know.

Still a great place . Food is good, bartenders are great and when it's not snowing superbread more

Our dinner was served buffet style and was very tasty. We had quite a few options to choose from for the ticket price. After dinner, we stayed and explored the grounds, took a long walk alongside the dock, and simply enjoyed the calmness and tranquility. We actually stayed much longer than we planned, which led to us working up an appetite again. Luckily for us, there is a wood fire kitchen located on the estate, and we were able to have another quick bite before heading home, delicious!!! The options we chose were wonderful! So much so that my husband and I agreed to return for date night (we live an hour away, and it's definitely worth the drive). My wife was given a gift card for Skippers for her birthday, and over the weekend, we decided to go use it. It's situated somewhat in a residential neighborhood with a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant. We were sat right away. It was an early dinner for us, around 4PM. There were a couple other tables sat, but the restaurant was mostly open. We asked for an outdoor seat and were brought right back. The inside of the restaurant is large with 2 floors and was very dark inside. We were given our menus. Took a bit for our server to get to us, but no big deal. I ordered the risotto with chicken and a virgin pina colada while my wife got the lobster stuffed haddock with a drink special. As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I always appreciate a restaurant that offers mocktails. Again, not a ton of tables sat, but it took a bit for us to get our food. Luckily, it was a beautiful day to just sit and look out onto the water. Our food was brought over and we got to it. Portions were large, but we both felt the food was just okay. My risotto had very little flavor, and the chicken was completely unseasoned. My wife said her food was fine, but the onion rings were the stand out of her meal. Our gift card was for $80 and our 2 meals and drinks came to $86. Our server was very friendly, but the service was slow for the amount of people there. Beautiful view on the outside patio, but for us, that was the best part of the experience.
