The most recent haircut she walked me up to counter so attendant can charge for my haircut, and she can get to her next appointment. I was charged $36! I asked why and was told "she" now charges $36. Bri and never stated that and never had been charged more than what has been displayed over the years going there. I paid the ridiculous price, plus tip, and left. No worries, by two boys will stop going there as well. It's all about the principle and not disclosing upfront. Already found another location that charges 1/3 less and does a better job.

I stopped her to tell her but she said "see I started by your ears so it's low". I like to keep my hair longish (4-5 inches) on top but we had to trip part of it down so that it did look like my hair was falling over a shelf. She cut me multiple times and scraped up the side of my head with the trimmers from pushing so hard. She hard enough that my neck is fatigued from holding my head steady and my neck ended up craning to the side. I had to adjust the angle of my head multiple times because of it. It was almost the same pressure as the barbers used when shaving my head for basic training. Multiple employees swarmed me at checkout asking questions about it and wanting to take pictures on their phones. My big issue is that I expressed my desire, which they confirmed, objected to the way they were doing it, and despite their reassurances that they "know" what they are doing, it still ended up bad. If you care how you look and want a barber who listens to you, do not go here. Edit. Showered and air dried my hair while chilling at home, it is so much worse now!

He's the barber, I don't know what he was talking about except I have heard a 4 or 5 cut in the past but usually am scissor cut. I told him I did not want a cut like a marine. Just clean it up. He said I'll give you a 1.5 cut. Before I know it, an electric razor was shaving off my hair at a point of no return. I hoped he was going to leave it longer as he approached the top. No, it was an entire buzz cut that will take 3 months to grow an inch. A good comment was that he was thorough in all the rest of the detail, ex. neckline, ears, eyebrows, etc. This is the second and last time I will go to this barber shop. The average review is so much higher than everyone else I have to wonder if these reviews are somehow being manipulated.

If any of you out there have ever been stationed in Korea at one time or another, you probably got your hair cut by an older Korean woman who smelled of kimchee and cut your hair in record time. Nine times out of ten they had a pet dog, always a smaller breed, in the shop keeping an eye on the comings and goings. Stepping into K Barbershop is like that. Older Korean lady (although if you've been around Koreans you know they apparently stop aging at around 30 and don't start up again until 90, so "older " just means she could be my age), small dog, the vacuum hose attached to the clippers to keep hair from falling down your shirt, all of it. The only thing missing is the little neck massage you would get in Korea. She does a bang up job on traditional hair cuts. She even finishes it off with a hot shave on the back of your neck to make sure you're clean and neat. The prices are nice and low. If you want the latest fashion as seen on some Fabio-look alike in Glamour magazine, go somewhere else. If you want a good haircut at a good price, come here.

Needless to say when you have posted business hours and a customer arrives during those hours and the shop was indeed closed it hurts your business.
