It can be difficult to get a decent '"men's" haircut if you aren't man enough for some barber shops, but this one is very welcoming and very professional! Exceedingly pleased with the scheduling process (very smooth), the availability (we got lucky!), and efficient professionalism and my roommate is extremely pleased with their haircut. Not a chatty place, but you'll have a quiet visit and come out looking like new! read more

Sam provided excellent service. The atmosphere is calm. All staff is very professional.

The worst haircut I ever received. I went in with about an inch of hair. I asked not to make a shorter, just clean it up. The barber wanted to know whether to do a 1 or 2 cut. He's the barber, I don't know what he was talking about except I have heard a 4 or 5 cut in the past but usually am scissor cut. I told him I did not want a cut like a marine. Just clean it up. He said I'll give you a 1.5 cut. Before I know it, an electric razor was shaving off my hair at a point of no return. I hoped he was going to leave it longer as he approached the top. No, it was an entire buzz cut that will take 3 months to grow an inch. A good comment was that he was thorough in all the rest of the detail, ex. neckline, ears, eyebrows, etc. This is the second and last time I will go to this barber shop. The average review is so much higher than everyone else I have to wonder if these reviews are somehow being manipulated. read more

This is by far the best barber shop in the area. Yes, you will pay more, but once you see the care and attention to detail, you will understand why. I have had every barber there cut my hair and they all use the same techniques and my haircut is perfect every time. Trust me, you will not leave this place with any stray hairs or weird blending. I won't go anywhere else. read more

My 12 year old son's first barber visit. They treated him like a grown up. Very professional, clean, and same day availability!

Good luck with Your Business Thank you for showing me how to shave with your type razor! Thank you for the 5 months that I worked there! read more

Received a cut from Jeff. Finally found the spot ive been searching for since moving to the area. He was on point. Almost better then my old barber in NYC. No more searching. Thanks read more

Got a follow up from Jeff (owner) at Professional Barber, offering me an appointment to "make it right" He made it VERY right! If you're looking for a straight razor shave, with hot towels and things done right, then this is the place and you need to book an appointment with Jeff. From applying a moisturizing pre-shave soap with a brush, to the hot towels, multiple lathers, nap shave and moisturizing lotion after the shave, the service was everything that I expected and very different experience from my first visit/review. Will I be going back for more? Absolutely! read more

A great haircut for a reasonable price. They were able to squeeze me in without an appointment. Finally rid of all the clips and cuttery's. Thank you Aichurek. read more

Ok, next find was a barber for my mop. I'll save you the pictures, it when my hair gets long, I look like the nutty professor (pause for googling). Two things, I have not ever had luck with stylists that claim they are barbers. These are two VERY different professions and for very good reason. Oh yeah, second one... the waiting... honestly I used to go to shops that took 3 hrs before you were out? What a waste of time! The Professional Barbers are just that! They do an epic haircut at a reasonable price (at least for this area), they allow appointments which have run very on-time, staff is super friendly, and facilities are super clean. These guys are the real deal! read more

The sign says it all "Professional Barber". Jeff, the owner, is a skillful craftsman who surrounds himself with a shop full of talent. Looking for a straight razor trim or shave? Look no further. read more

Great haircut everytime by Airucheck. She knows what I want and remembers each time. Nice prices too

Great local barbershop. Professional, clean, and friendly. Always has my boys looking on point.

Took a risk coming to a brand new barbershop but so glad we did! Located inside of Legends Salon same shopping center as Glory Days Grill and First Watch. Newly opened only one week, found it on Yelp. Jeff did an awesome job with a fade and cut. He took time explaining how to style and gave my hubby great tips to manage his beard. Definitely coming back! You can easily book online at https://www.professionalbarber.shop read more

Very nice atmosphere and clean. The staff was friendly. My teenage son has thick wavy hair and he left with a very nice cut. The barber listened to his requests and took good care of him. read more

A new barbershop moved up here, having excellent service and a clean, professional shop. They also have an excellent profitable selection of men's products. Prices are as competitive as going to like Sports Clips but not as expensive as going into the city. Perfect for it being something closer for a personal, professional barbershop. I would highly recommend it from someone who has tried multiple places! read more

Professional Barber is fantastic. I went to Jeff almost a year ago and told him to work his magic and he did not disappoint. After my first cut + beard trim I suddenly had co workers and friends going to see him. The location is very clean and Jeff is really friendly and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Professional Barber. read more

Opie was incredible. Like others I had given up on a good fade and beard trim. He went above and beyond! Won't go anywhere else!

Both my husband and my sons have had great experiences here. Yuliia is amazing with kids- best hair cut my four year old has ever had!

By far the worst haircut and overall barbershop experience I've ever had. The barber didn't speak any English so I tried to show him pictures of what I wanted. Gave me a haircut that looks nothing like what I asked for. Refused to listen to me on anything when I tried to translate to him. I look like a drug addict. I'm embarrassed to go out in public. Went straight home to put on a hat, which I'll be wearing for the next month read more

Ramazan cut my hair yesterday morning. He was attentive and gave me an excellent hair cut. The place itself is clean, well lit and inviting. I'm extremely satisfied and will be a returning customer! read more

I found my new barber today! Jeff is a master of his craft, with quiet competence and major skills with clippers, scissors, hot lather and razor. I felt as if I were in my hometown barbershop in the 1960's, but with a great modern vibe. I walked in with a head full of Covid hair and a scruffy beard, and left looking like the very clean-cut 75-year-old that I am! ....and now I will enjoy the smell of Clubman aftershave -- a barbershop classic -- for the rest of my day! Thanks, Jeff! I will be back and I will tell my friends! read more

I went and got a beard trim and haircut yesterday with Michael after waiting probably a little too long since my last cut. I have moved a lot over the years and one of the most annoying parts of that process is trying to find a good barber. Michael did an awesome job with my beard, using freehand clippers, to clean up/shape things like a pro. The pricing is very reasonable as well. I have relied on reviews from other guys in the past to try and find a barber that is good with beards so I wanted to return the favor. Do yourself a solid and check this place out. read more

My son and I went in for a haircut. My beard lineup was off and the straight razor tore up my face. There was a clear language barrier which is fine but the guy cutting my hair seemed like he didn't care to be there. The guy that cut my sons hair did a decent job but did not understand boundaries with kids. You can't pick up someone's kid and carry them to another place. Very unlikely to return. Spent $100 and was not worth it. read more

I took my grandson today, I made an appointment yesterday. We arrived on time and were taken right away by Amanda. My grandson did not want his hair cut short, .since the pandemic we haven't been going for cuts very often so his hair was pretty long and he was not unhappy with it but finally agreed to have it refreshed!! I was apprehensive , the last cut he got was at a different shop and the girl who did it just didn't seem to care what we asked for.. Amanda was quite the opposite, she was patient, she communicated with him and I am happy to say she gave the best cut ever! I believe all the teenagers who worry about losing their curls etc would be so pleased with Amanda's abilities and listening skills. The whole shop seems to be very caring about what their clients want. The shop was very clean and all were masked. Highly recommend to all. read more

Excellent customer service and quite possibly the best haircut I've ever had. Glad to have found this gem in Midlothian read more

I signed up for a haircut and specifically did not choose Dena bc I had had awful luck w her at Great Clips. When I arrived there were other barbers not cutting hair but I was given Dena. I was hesitant/needed a cut and thought, well maybe she's improved. Well no, she hasn't. One side of my hair looks decent and the other looks like I faded myself during Covid. I should have just played Great Clips roulette but I didn't. I'd love to send Jason a picture of my hair so he can see who he's hired to butcher peoples hair. Do NOT use her if you choose this establishment. read more

Ehh.. definitely not worth the money. I finally found the perfect fade after a few months in the area, and this wasn't the place.

Of course I got the guy that was new, very friendly but unsure of himself and language barrier

This place is fantastic! Loved the decor and the vibe. There are several barbers and I'm sure all of them are great. I had an appointment with the owner Jeff, and I can definitely confirm - dude is a legit master barber. I came into the barbershop looking like a balding Grizzly Adams, but left looking dapper AF. It may have been just a regular Wednesday evening when I got this cut, but it felt like Transformation Tuesday to me based on how I looked afterwards. Jeff was able to trim and style the thinning hair on top of my head in a manner where it both looked good and helped provide coverage (without looking like a straight up combover). He blended my sides perfectly, and also tamed my beard - faded and shaped it up to where it was a flawless masterpiece. Right when I was getting ready to speak up and ask if he'd also tackle my bushy eyebrows, he was already one step ahead and on top of it - like a freakin' mind reader. Jeff takes true pride in his craft and it shows in his work. I've never left a barbershop feeling so good about how I look! This will definitely be my go to spot for all my haircut and beard trim needs. read more

Best barber in Richmond thank you for always turning my friends from monkeys to humans

First time in. Just wanted to try the place out, didn't even choose a barber for my service. Didn't know what to expect, but based off of reviews I had high hopes. 10/10 definitely happy with my cut, and beard trim. Aichurek provided excellent service and I will be coming back in the future. I think I've finally found a place I'm happy with read more

Save your time, stop scrolling and book your appointment here now. Professional barber is the best barber shop in Richmond, with an even better owner. I've lived in Richmond for 3 years now and the first year I really struggled to find a barber that met my needs. Jeff is respectful, professional, and always makes sure I walk out looking 10 times better than I did before. He's been my go to guy for the past two years, and it has been a blessing. The shop is clean, looks great, and is always a comfortable place to be in. The website is super easy to use, and it takes 30 seconds to book a barber. Not to mention too it's a veteran owned small business. You will not find a better place in Richmond. read more

Prompt at appointment time and looks great. I'll def be going back. Look at this before and after! read more

I was a regular at another barbershop and was not really happy. Then I made an appointment with Opie out of curiosity. I've been going to him about 2 months now. I get a hair cut every two weeks to keep it fresh. Opie gives great haircuts. Perfect every time. He takes his time and makes sure it's right. Not a lot of barbers make sure you are happy. With other barbers I've had to make a few corrections after getting home. Hair behind the ears, etc. Not with Opie. He is on point with an eye for detail. Even down to the neck shave. I'm moving away to the city but will probably come back to the burbs just for haircuts with him. You can make appointment online which is very convenient. The check in and payment process is automated and convenient. read more

I found Jeff a couple months ago by accident. You will never find a more professional barber. Precise and focused. Now for the real 5 star rating, my wife LOVES Jeff's cuts. Happy Wife, Happy Life.
