He makes you feel special and really listens to you. That being said, with 40 years of experience, he isn't afraid to give his opinion which is great. He ended up offering me a delicious cup of coffee from a place nearby. The cut was flawless. Excellent attention to detail. It was exactly what I wanted. Used a straight razor to finish the back and shaved my neck and trimmed my eyebrows (old man eyebrows). This will be my go to place. Also, unlike high point, you don't have to wait a month for an appointment. They typically have openings within a day or so.

I was a walk-in around 2pm on a Monday. I explained what I wanted in my haircut and left thinking it was mission accomplished because it looked ok on location. Got home and wife hated the haircut because it didn't turn out the same as previous cuts from elsewhere. Next day after a shower, the haircut looked even worse. No biggie. I'll just try a different stylist next time. Clean interior. Would love to see better pricing. A simple cut (no wash) took about 15 mins and ran $34 with tip.

It felt like running 30+ minutes late was just business as usual, which was frustrating from the jump. Asked for a simple fade. There was a big language barrier--the barber spoke very little and didn't communicate much, so it was hard to confirm details or make adjustments. The cut took 48 minutes, which is way too long for a basic fade. The fade has some blending, but it's inconsistent and poorly done: visible ridges in the transition lines, choppy spots, and random little tufts sticking out (especially noticeable around the sides). Iit's not smooth or even, and without any product offered to style or matte it down, my hair ended up fuzzy and unkempt, not like a fresh, clean cut at all. Really let down by the lack of detail, poor communication, no effort on the delay, and subpar results. For the price and wait, I expected way better. Decor was nice. Seats were comfortable for the wait. Earn a star for design. Won't be returning.
