My first time trying out this place to fix a bad haircut from a previous salon. Akhmed (I hope the…read morespelling is correct) was very personable, attentive and a very highly skilled and knowledgeable barber. He used a lot of different techniques and blending to fix the way My cowlick and fine hair had been poorly blended and cut previously. The haircut was $20 and I left a $10 tip which I feel is in line for a very good professional haircut. I would highly recommend this place and I will be going back. They also offer a number of different services including facial and head massage, beard, trimming, hair wash, etc..

This shop was truly an elevated experience compared to some smaller barbershops I've been to. The…read moreservice was on point from the moment I checked in til when I left. This was my first time here, and as a guy getting barber service, you want a barber that will take his time, make sure you walk out feeling like a king. My barber Thomas was just the right guy to take the time of the styling assessment to shave style to finishing product. Walking in the shop just smelled good, their main row of chairs was clean and the decor was modern rustic. You get greeted, they check you in, and they have a lounge as well to wait out your service. I worked with Thomas, and he had a very warm welcome and made sure to take the process of the style, cut, shape, and finishing product that was exactly what you were expecting. This experience did not disappoint. I truly appreciated his chat along throughout the experience, so it was fun and chill. I selected a skin fade with a hard part. The beard was close-knit mustache separated from the beard, which was don't chinstrap style. During the beard trim, I enjoyed the warm towel as well. It was such a chill vibe the whole time. I was informed of their 5 week shape up guarantee. This earned a very highly rated experience and look forward to my next visit.

We're coming through from NJ to see Thai Nguyen. My son, 18, had some bad experience with barbers…read moreand he followed Thai on social media for quite some time, loved the special haircut. My husband and I decided to book a trip to Richmond (yes, we drove the 6 hours night before the appointment) during xmas week and gifted our son his glow up haircut. Thai really is the barber you want to see and we just wished he's closer to NJ. He is very meticulous with his work. It's no wonder he is booked on appointments for months. Now the challenge is for us to find someone who can cut like him in Jersey for when our son's hair grows out. Definitely recommend Thai and yes, we're coming back whenever we can make it out to VA.

Didn't have high expectations about this barbershop, they don't even have a website... we were…read moregreeted extremely rudely, should of read the previous reviews because all we got is "What do you want." (Not a pleasant atmosphere for me and my Hispanic partner) Also the barbers didn't know what a Drop Fade is... that should of been another sign to find another place. I even had a photo of the fade pulled up and this is what I got. My fade isn't even nor is it close to what I asked for. To top it off their equipment is very old and not taken care of, my hair kept getting pulled and I kept getting stabbed with the clippers. So if you have tough skin and don't mind terrible service this is the place for you.

Looking for more of a hometown barbershop rather than the chain store experience that I am quite…read moretired of. Saw this business listed as one of the former so I ventured out to check it out. I knew it was possible for me to have a bad experience as I had not been there before but was looking for a new positive one. Well those hopes were dashed as soon as I pulled up. A sign posted clearly read "Attention: No Walk Ins Allowed." A handwritten sign on the door said "We are open by appointment only." Needless to say when you have posted business hours and a customer arrives during those hours and the shop was indeed closed it hurts your business. My message to the proprietor of this business is "I suppose you don't want any money." If zero was a rating I would give it. Good job on the 1 star rating though. You didn't have to do anything to get it.

I had been in for a quick buzz and had been charged $5 then 10 and $15 then $30. I don't have enough hair to warrant $30. Haircuts in Richmond are over priced overall but I did not appreciate being called out. They lost me as a customer and I have told everyone I know the story. The cuts are okay but they charge for the cut then to clean up the edges? I am from NYC the most expensive city in the country, when you go for a haircut they do the whole job and do not cut ala carte.
