While we enjoy the food, their methods are complete chaos. There are set people taking orders, making the food, and cashiering. They all jump around and mix the food, make a mess, make you wait at the cash register forever, and don't have an order. We stopped here on our way home from Monterey. I chose a fruit cup and ordered a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese. My husband chose a Hamlet on a cheddar cheese bagel and an iced mocha. The honeydew and cantaloupe were ripe and cut perfectly - not any rind and so tender and juicy! Plenty of red seedless grapes were included. My toasted sesame bagel was crunchy and chewy with fluffy whipped cream. It tasted great. My husband's Hamlet had scrambled egg and a beautiful grilled piece of ham on a toasted cheddar cheese bagel -- and it was delicious. The iced mocha was also to his liking, so he gave it a thumbs up. A coworker brought some fresh. I don't usually eat breakfast, but I was tempted. Good quality, jalapeño cheese. It was not too spicy. I ordered a sesame bagel with lox spread, tomato and cucumber. Overall, a solid sandwich! I opted to have my bagel toasted, but not sure it was. Despite that, the bagel was big, just soft enough and slightly chewy like I prefer. I enjoyed it! They don't have an everything bagel on their menu, but I think their "super seed" bagel is basically an everything. We also got a couple cups of their hazelnut drip coffee and it was delicious. Lots of hazelnut flavor and not watered down at all. Would recommend swinging by The Bagel Bakery if you have a hankering for a bagel. Plenty of parking available in the lot! Stopped at this spot while charging at the Tesla superchargers. Service was fast and prompt, and the lady who helped us was very sweet. I got the New Yorker because I LOVE anything smoked salmon lox, and this sandwich was great. The one criticism I have is that the plain bagel I got was slightly stale.. but I'm assuming it's because we arrived at the end of the day, a little after an hour before closing. I did not mind all that much because the amount of salmon and cream cheese was perfect, and I even requested if I can have capers on my sandwich and I was able to get it no questions asked :) while this was a slight flaw, it's not enough for me to avoid this place. Today I paid almost $11 for a Superseed bagel with "the vegetarian" which is Tomatoes Sprouts Avocado Onions Mayo and mustard I asked for no tomato add turkey. Two pieces of turkey cost $3. The "vegetarian" is $5.95 So I guess they charge for the bagel too- I'm sorry but this is just outrageous. I understand inflation, but you can't tell me this bagel cost more than $2-$3 total. The guy who helped me was super sweet. It's not his fault that the quality is less than it used to be and the cost has more than tripled. There's a Starbucks on the other side of the building and acress the parking lot is either target or Costco, such a good place to stop out, especially those with Tesla's.
