Best deli around. The cap cod sandwich is bomb, turkey, Brie, red onion, sprouts and cran-mayonnaise-perfect every time. The ban mi is rich and delicious. The grinder is a quintessential sub piled with meats on a fresh roll. But the pastrami's the best I've ever had, they must smoke it themselves and it should be the gold standard for all pastrami. Made to order. Made with love. I found myself enjoying the food more because I know I was supporting my neighbor. Portion sizes are pretty large so don't worry about leaving hungry. Only negative I would say is that some of the non-traditional sandwiches can be a bit of a miss. The take on Banh Mi isn't quite hitting the Vietnamese mark for me--but that may be from the fact that I prefer my mom's. BFF and I popped by today and it was not busy - 1 customer ahead of us. Marcus was making their sandwiches but greeted us upon entering and answered our questions. When I couldn't decide between the cold and hot Italian, he recommended the hot. I'm so glad he did because it was perfect! We ended up with that and the Reuben. Also had the macaroni salad and "Mom's Potato Salad." Not sure whose mom made it but it was perfect! I had seen this place on yelp the last time that I worked in the area. We had the time and hunger today to make it a point to stop by. Located in a small shopping center, there is tons of parking. It's in the corner near the liquor store and busy ice cream parlor. The inside is simple and old school. They even have a neo geo arcade system, major cool nostalgic points for that! I was torn between the brisket and tri tip but the gentleman told me that the tri tip wasn't ready so brisket it was. Pretty good and fresh. The bread was really good and sandwich came out in decent time. I went to the liquor store for a soda and chips. They have beverages in this establishment but single cans and juices. Inside the store is a lot of local art and products to buy like honey or jam. It seems like a staple in the community where a lot of regulars come. The service was really good too for there only being one guy running the show. Very friendly and full of good energy with banter. I left here feeling better that I got good food and service while supporting a small business. If im in the area again for work, I'll be sure to try something else on the menu. They actually had a daily special that I saw after I got my food. It sounded like a better choice but there's always next time. read more

Marcus the owner and Maya the manager are both super friendly and invested in their customers and the local community. My husband loves the Schnitzel and I love the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The Crispy Chicken sandwich has the perfect alignment of spice with the crunch of the breaded chicken and the perfect compliment of the soft bread that it's served on. It is 10/10 my favorite sandwich ever! The Schnitzel is fresh, perfectly breaded and tastes just like the schnitzel that we have got in Germany! This place is a perfect afternoon spot! Not far from the overly priced Sanctuary resort, this place is an excellent reprieve from overpriced food. The sandwiches are huge and really tasty! The store itself is friendly and supports several local artists and creators. This place is welcoming, fun, and has a hometown vibe to it. They have kept a lot of the items from the german deli that was here previously which is nice. There is a check in offer on Yelp for 20% off purchase. Very nice. Quaint little shop in the corner of this very busy shopping center. I recommend parking in the back and walking through past the laundry to avoid the chaos of the place. The Jack in the Box on the corner always has a line for the drive through making it even more congested in the parking lot. And currently part of the lot is under construction. After hearing many good things about LOCAL, I finally had the time to check it out. The sandwiches were tasty!!!! I ordered the Hot Italian and also got to try their crispy chicken sandwich as well. At first, I wasn't sure what to order (everything sounded super good) so Marcus (the owner) recommended the Hot Italian - one of their most popular subs. I'm glad he recommended it! The pesto sauce and arugula really are the icing on top with this one. The crispy chicken was also tasty as heck too. Marcus was also very friendly! You can tell he really loves what he does - making people happy in the best way possible... through food! I love how he also has artwork for sale from local vendors.
